IPAD PRO BRICK NOT ELEGIBLE FOR RETURN.

Brought my wife's apple cord and power brick in because IPAD not charging. Person in apple store area checked cord and said it is good, must be charger. Bought charger, had to leave town for a planned vacation. IPAD needed to go to factory repair for rebuild. I attempted to return the brick, and more than 2 weeks had passed. Return not accepted due to Policy. (a couple days beyond 2 weeks)

This power adapter is manufactured for charging both the iPhone and iPad. The plug can fold up for easy storage. When opened, the plug locks into place. This is different from an off-brand that I purchased; the plug did not lock into place. Consequently, I never knew if the phone or iPad were charged. I am glad to now have the Apple Power Adapter.

On a trip and I left my iPad charging cable at the home office! Happens to all of us. I could have spent precious hours on-line searching for a compatible cable and plug for my iPad version, etc. and probably even received it same day…nope…pulled into a local BestBuy store - told them my iPad model number and I was walked right to the cable and this power adapter needed to make it work. I asked someone at the Geek Squad if a particular thumb drive was compatible with a pc/laptop....no one knew what "backwards compatible"meant. The real Geek Squad are the people you send most of your repair work to.....those are the people I would like to speak with. The next time I purchase a laptop, I will probably n o t purchase an extended warrenty because of my concern about having to have the item sent out by the Geek Squad to someone else for the repair. All repairs should be done on-site by those qualified to make the repairs.I found the good people there not very knowledgeable about the difference between i-pad and android pads.
