I do really like this power brick because now I can charge my laptop and power some other devices alongside it. I think that Apple should make multiple port bricks in higher wattages too. This would allow more than one higher powered device to charge at a time. Some places like schools have few plugs, so the fewer the bricks the better.

This item was pointed out to me in the Westfield White City branch by a helpful advisor who pointed out that it could be used for both my M2 Airbook and the older 8/9th generation iPads which require a lightning to USB-C lead and would therefore would only necessitate the use of the one plug for both devices. Very pleased with the outcome.

Great if only charging a single device

Great quality and given its genuine apple, I assume much safer than a less recognisable brand. If charging a single device such as a laptop, it will charge at 35W which is quite fast. However, if you are charging two devices (e.g. macbook air + iphone), it splits the charge to only 17.5W, which is pretty slow by todays standards. I didnt read the small print (infact, its not on the apple product page at all.. i had to go to the support page) and assumed at this price that it would charge two devices at 35W each (for devices that support 35W). So, a bit dissapointed overall. By the way, if you are charging a macbook OR iphone + airpods / watch on the second USB-C, you get 27.5W to the macbook / iphone and 7.5 to the airpods / watch. Hope that helps prospective buyers.

Hard to decide on this one because of 2 different
6 August 2024

I noticed 2 different costs on same product at Walmart that I was unsure about it, so worker was able to help me out with it. Please use only one cost on same product as customers can’t get confused with that. Adapter is great for 2 Apple devices to charge their batteries same time.

Tampered product and poor customer service
9 September 2024

I bought a 35W Dual USB-C Power Adapter from Walmart Southcenter, but when I got home and opened the box, I was shocked to find a used 20W adapter inside. The box had been tampered with and glued back together. I felt completely ripped off and disappointed. When I went to claim my money back, they refused to take my word for it and told me I should have opened the item in their presence before buying it. First time I’ve heard that—after all, the sealed stickers should ensure the product is intact. The sellers never mentioned that you have to open and test the product right there. Their ‘solution’ was to offer me a gift card for the value of the item. I did eventually get what I wanted, but the hassle of dealing with this situation left a bad taste in my mouth. [Rewarded Review] Apple Only — no off brand plugs on Apple products

Definitely worth it. Don’t wanna use substitute because they actually ruin the battery. Really don’t wanna risk my expensive Apple products with a cheap crap plugs. Still have AppleCare though.

[Rewarded Review] Better than a MagSafe.
28 September 2024

This charger is absolutely incredible for my new iPad Pro and for my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I can charge both at the same time and the charging speed is phenomenal. I would use this any day over a MagSafe charger. It’s faster, and the ability to charge two devices at once is wonderful.

[Rewarded Review] Great charger, worth the price
14 May 2024

This has been a great little charger. I have limited outlet space where I charge my devices and this works perfect. It is also great to use on the go. This has been great for international travel too with the Apple travel kit

[Rewarded Review] This, not the bigger one, is the right one to buy
18 January 2024

This is the right adapter to buy if you have both a MacBook and a cell phone (of any kind). The two USB-C connectors allow you to take one charging block into the office or over to a friend's house to charge both devices while occupying only one plug outlet. These days, that's called being a good colleague or friend!
