They pay so much attention to the RAM numbers without understanding the RAM may be lower on an Apple product but because of its software it’s actually way more efficient at 6gb of ram vs Samsung whatever they’re claiming now. Once I switched to Apple I complete understood the hype and just how much easier the phone is to operate, just how much better everything flows with how you want to use the product whether it’s a phone or tablet. I will say that I wish the tablet were a little more advanced on the screen under normal circumstances, but when it comes to watching YouTube, movies, or video I’ve taken with my phone this tablet is absolutely up there with most laptops. I enjoy this tablet so much I have now began looking into the MacBook Pro regardless of the price simply because of how much it can do and it will completely mesh with my phone and tablet seemlessly. My AirPods with just work with each item without having to think of how to connect them. I ordered the Magic Keyboard with my iPad and this is how I suggest anyone use it. It’s so much like a laptop you might as well. Especially when dealing with WiFi everything the tablet just performs so well. Solid state is where it’s at. How many android users have issues with malware or being hacked in a sense, seeing pop up banners when they log into their phone. My kids always had that problem because they’d click on something they shouldn’t have, but since we’ve all gone Apple, nobody not once has had an issue with strange pop ups or ads. Apple is just more secure, easier to use, and every product interacts so well with the other products. As someone who used android(mainly Samsung) for over 10yrs, trust me….if you take the week to make the adjustment to Apple you will not regret it. You hear about the notch, the ram, the tech numbers and they’re just numbers, when it comes to being smooth crisp, clear, and easy to use Apple wins hands down regardless of those meaningless tech specs they use to try to convince you their product is worth it. When they test product vs product Apple always does just as well if not better regardless if it doesn’t have the bloated numbers other companies use to lure you in. Apple has earned the hype. It took me 10yrs to figure it out. iPad Air is more than enough to do most of the things you want or need to do around the house.

The iPad Air 2 was great. The total replacement 4 yrs ago in lieu of battery replacement won me to the Apple brand. When I got to 30gb of a 332gb capacity it felt like looking over my shoulder and constant parsimony. While looking around for an updated replacement the variety of tablets matched with ways of use and lifestyle was another winner: almost too many choices. Now retired, I am moving to word and puzzle games and some drawing in addition to some media and, of course, email. But way less text or documents. Reviewing and editing board packets and prep for six or seven meetings a month, including zoom is a breeze. Low vision accessories including voice are a saving grace. Summation: my iPad Air 5 fits my various needs without demanding a lot of tech know how. ... MoreThe iPad Air 2 was great. I opted for the Verizon chip again to assure anywhere access and deter snooping that plagues public Wi-Fi. Rei on staff are great: neither too techno nor making up answers when they don’t know. They are quick and listen so they respond well to questions. All around, a worthwhile experience even though it was not the cheapest deal around.

The new Liquid Retina display in particular is crisp and beautiful, and makes great use of a bigger screen.
