This device is totally out of this world. I upgraded from the iPad Pro 2016(1st gen) and the difference is overwhelming. Even with normal use(browsing and switching between apps) it’s blazing fast. I also have an iPhone 11 Pro Max but this feels even faster than that. A very good product that works very well and is the biggest model of the iPad Pro line. No problems in setting it up as I used my older and smaller iPad to do so; and I immediately upgraded it to the newest OS program available with no problems at all. I have not tried yet the 4G cell phone connection but in the area in which I live, we cannot get the newest 5G service anyway so this 4G should work and is sufficient for me. This largest 12.9-inch iPad Pro is excellent for all of us older people who need the bigger screen to see what is there; and it is also excellent for the readers and artists who use the Apple Pencil (1st Generation) who like to draw on it. I would recommend this largest iPad Pro to everyone for the above reasons.

Apple made a few changes to the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9", most notably the inclusion of the M1 chip and the gorgeous XDR display. The M1 chip is a nice addition, but right now, it still feels like overkill. I switched to the M1 MacBook Pro in 2020 and the improvements were astounding. Those improvements don't really seem to have quite the same impact on the iPad, and that's mostly because it's still a victim to iPadOS. I don't imagine that Apple has any plans on allowing its iPads to run MacOS, due to cannibalization of the MacBook market, but iPadOS has its limitations. The XDR display, overall, is pretty gorgeous. Streaming movies, TV shows, YouTube, etc. is really something else. It is a pretty nice and noticeable upgrade over the previous gen. With that said, the XDR display does also suffer from some moderate blooming effects, most notably when you have a bright white image or text displaying against deep black background. It's not terrible, but it is something to be aware of. The battery life is essentially identical to previous generations, and Apple reflects that in its specs. What additional battery life that might have been gained with the M1 chip was probably immediately sucked away with the inclusion of the XDR display. Battery life is totally fine, it's just not better. Is it worth upgrading? If your iPad is at the end of its life or you just really, really want the top-of-the-line tablet on the market, sure, it's a great option. If you have a previous gen iPad Pro and you're perfectly happy with the quality of the display, it probably isn't worth upgrading. At least not until they bring MacOS to the iPad...

I really do enjoy shows and films specifically with my AirPods Pro. It has noise cancellation and you can personalize your sound preferences. It makes your streaming and gaming experience 10 times better. It’s quite fast and great for taking notes, sharing everything really fast with Airdrop. One cool thing that I really like about this specific model is that Apple Pencil attaches to iPad sideways without inserting it like previous versions which reduces the risks of breaking it. Pencil’s grip is super strong. And the look and minimalist design feels great in hands. It is gorgeous and super chic.❤️❤️❤️👍🏻 It’s definitely a device Top of its chain, specially if your an artist and wants to try Procreate. A perfect laptop replacement

Thanks to Micro Center's generous return window during the holidays, I was able to return the MacBook Air and get this last remaining example of an older A12x powered iPad Pro. I don't need a M1 machine or huge amounts of storage to do my work, and this was $200 less for a gorgeous screen, 120hz refresh rate, and smaller/lighter than the Air.I could have gotten the freshest M1 iPad Air but the 12.9 screen is simply too good. It's the right proportion and size to be passable as a sheet of letter paper and that makes it remarkably easy to use as a delivery medium for images and text. The screens on MacBook Air/Pro etc. may be bigger but they don't do portrait orientation, and at nearly 100% the size of a sheet of paper it's the most seamless way to have a digital document workflow.The money I saved by not buying the latest M2 iPad Pro will go to a new Mac Studio (when the M2 version drops or when the M1max model is on sale) because iCloud integration is a total game changer for people who work across multiple sites, and doing it on PC is possible but kludgy at best.

Apples getting really good at hype. In the old is it matched their product

I had an iPad Air and upgraded to this, big disappointment. Screen is not that great, not as they described it at least, batteries no better, screen is a hair bigger, my fingers always blocking the Face ID a decade ago Apple would’ve put it in two places. Four speakers that don’t sound any better than two speakers, one vote down for depth of sound. really wouldn’t know I was on a different iPad other than the shape. And I paid $1500 for it. Feeling a bit taken. The one thing I like, when I can use it, is the magic keypad and it was expensive. I had a pin but I had to buy a new one that works with this one. Usually in the old days when you waited a couple years to upgrade you were fascinated with the additions, not anymore most of it’s hype now.

Gently used iPad works great!

Took a chance on this iPad at a great price...and it paid off! In wonderful shape and no issues. Did not include original box or Apple charger but this was all spelled out in the description so no surprises there. It did include a USB cable (no wall block plug) as described that works great. The iPad screen is very clean with no scratches or cracks of any kind. The body is free of any scratches or dents with only minimal wearing visible. The iPad functions just as it should with no issues experienced to date. Happy with purchase and would do business again!

Everything matters to me and that adds the look, feel, function, reliability of the product itself and the company's history. Then, I take all of that information and project how long I'm likely to use the product, before I outgrow it. This iPad has the right depth of features and performance for all college students (thru Ph.D) in all majors and all professionals. Works great!

I never regretted buying this Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2020) Wi-Fi 256GB - Space Gray. It’s big, powerful and sleek but it’s heavy like our Macbook Pro and it becomes heavier if you use the Apple Magic Keyboard for it. The keyboard is ideal if you just place it in one area. It works great and the pictures are so beautiful. The sound quality is superb, I’m inlove with it! It responds so fast although it has different controls from my iphone and sometimes I get mixed up but its fine. The battery also lasts long but if you have so many notifications like I do, it still eats up battery even if it sleeps with the case closed. Overall, I’m so happy with it! I highly recommend it!
