After one year of using the Apple iPad 5th Generation, I must say, it's an absolute gem! Right from unboxing the sleek Space Gray device to discovering its impressive features, it was all pure joy. One of the first things I noticed was its responsiveness. Everything, from gaming to drawing, was a breeze thanks to the 512 GB memory. Apps loaded quickly, and I never had to worry about running out of space even with my daughter's seemingly endless collection of games and eBooks. The multitasking was smooth as silk, without a hint of lag. Now, let's talk about the Apple Pencil. It was the icing on the cake. My daughter, an aspiring artist, fell in love with it instantly. She was able to create her digital artwork with such precision and creativity, and the intuitive pressure and tilt sensitivity of the Apple Pencil brought her artwork to life. The iPad screen is clear and crisp, making it perfect for both her online classes and her movie time. The battery life is also worth mentioning. It lasted throughout the day even with heavy use, which is impressive! All in all, the iPad 5th Generation has been a game changer. It's not just a device; it's a tool for creativity, a portal for learning, and a source of endless entertainment for my ten-year-old. Apple certainly got it right with this one!

I dont have too many Apple products just because I don't really love the interface of Apple. I did get this for school and because of the apple pencil and I have to say I do love it. It has pressure sensitivity for the pencil, it is a great size, it sounds great and the brightness on it is decent. I will say that if you use it for too long, even at a lower screen brightness, it will start to get pretty hot so that is a little bit of a downside. I mean it's a fairly large piece of technology with a big bright screen (even when dimmed) so I'm not really counting against it for that reason for that. Battery does die relatively quickly when using it, I kind of expect that. But when not in use it will stay charged for days. Definitely, definitely if you're going to be ... MoreI dont have too many Apple products just because I don't really love the interface of Apple. Definitely, definitely if you're going to be doing any kind of writing or painting or what not you need a paper like screen protector. otherwise your pencil, no matter what brand you have, just slips and slides all over the screen and it just is a difficult to write with. Overall, do I think this was worth the $1,200 I paid for it, I'm not sure. It definitely depends on what you're going to use it for. If you're a student and your huge into taking notes definitely worth looking at. If you're an artist that loves to draw via technological devices, for sure procreate it is amazing. If you're an avid planner, I could see it being useful. But for most things, you probably could get an Android device and it be just as amazing with more customization features.

I recently purchased the Apple iPad Pro 4th Gen and I have to say, I'm blown away by its performance. The Liquid Retina display is absolutely gorgeous - it's so clear and vibrant, making it perfect for watching videos or editing photos. Plus, the large size of the screen makes multitasking a breeze, which is great when I need to have multiple apps open at once. Speaking of multitasking, the A12Z Bionic chip in the iPad Pro is seriously impressive. It's lightning-fast and can handle anything I throw at it without lagging or slowing down. I use my iPad for work, so I really appreciate how powerful it is - it makes editing documents and running business apps so much smoother. It's perfect for when I want to capture special moments while I'm out and about. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase of the Apple iPad Pro 4th Gen. Yes, it's an investment, but the quality and performance make it totally worth it. I highly recommend this tablet to anyone who needs a powerful, versatile device that can handle all their needs. Picked up this older version (4th gen) iPad Pro base model after I had previously purchased a M1 MacBook Air - it was a perfectly lovely device but I realized I was still doing most of my actual work (photography, writing, spreadsheets and other simple tasks) on my windows PC. The laptop was meant to be a mobile workstation I could take to clients, but working on the small screen after being used to 32" of 2160p screen estate was not going to happen. All I needed was a portable device that could be used to show a client documentation/photos, take notes and do correspondence tasks.MacBook Air was simply overkill for that, and it's much, much, MUCH easier to use an iPad for client demos and showing photos/text compared to a laptop. All I needed was a portable device that could be used to show a client documentation/photos, take notes and do correspondence tasks.MacBook Air was simply overkill for that, and it's much, much, MUCH easier to use an iPad for client demos and showing photos/text compared to a laptop. Thanks to Micro Center's generous return window during the holidays, I was able to return the MacBook Air and get this last remaining example of an older A12x powered iPad Pro. I don't need a M1 machine or huge amounts of storage to do my work, and this was $200 less for a gorgeous screen, 120hz refresh rate, and smaller/lighter than the Air.I could have gotten the freshest M1 iPad Air but the 12.9 screen is simply too good. It's the right proportion and size to be passable as a sheet of letter paper and that makes it remarkably easy to use as a delivery medium for images and text. The screens on MacBook Air/Pro etc. may be bigger but they don't do portrait orientation, and at nearly 100% the size of a sheet of paper it's the most seamless way to have a digital document workflow. The money I saved by not buying the latest M2 iPad Pro will go to a new Mac Studio (when the M2 version drops or when the M1max model is on sale) because iCloud integration is a total game changer for people who work across multiple sites, and doing it on PC is possible but kludgy at best.

It's been reliable for me in various environments.- Storage: 128GB provides ample space for apps, documents, and media, suiting my needs perfectly.- Battery Life: A full day's work without needing to recharge is something I can attest to, and it's a significant convenience factor.Final Thoughts: The 12.9-Inch iPad Pro is more than a tablet; it's a portable powerhouse. The balance between sleek design, robust performance, and practical features makes it a top choice for professionals, creatives, and anyone in between. It's an investment that I've found to be well worth it. If you're in the market for a high-end tablet, don't overlook this one.
I was not seriously contemplating buying this M1 12.9” iPad Pro. I had 2018 11” A12 iPad Pro. Lately I had almost stopped using the old 11” one as once you get taste of the mini-led XDR display on MacBook Pro and the larger screen, there is no going back. Even with the Magic Keyboard, 11” really doesn’t cut it.I tried this 12.9” model with lower expectations as I thought - after all, it is an iPad again. I can tell any buyers who are thinking about this, the 12.9” model is really useful and helps with multi-tasking like split screen or stage manager etc. The XDR display really is eye candy with 120hz pro motion. The M1 processor make a world of difference when you edit videos. Now, this really rivals a MacBook Pro.Given the retail cost before sale is higher than ... MoreI was not seriously contemplating buying this M1 12.9” iPad Pro. I had 2018 11” A12 iPad Pro. The M1 processor make a world of difference when you edit videos. Now, this really rivals a MacBook Pro.Given the retail cost before sale is higher than a MacBook Air, the advantages are quite clear for an iPad. The display alone makes a huge difference. Having the fabless design rivals the quietness of an air. The accessories give it a new look altogether and it’s more portable than a laptop.I used Luma-fusion for a work video editing and really was blown away with the experience. The HDR content on this display is out of the world and I have not experienced any blooming. The deep blacks and high contrasts - once you taste it, there is no going back to any IPS panel any more. Now, I will say, the Sale price really made it worth. I wanted a 512GB model. No way I could afford 1500+ $/-. Also got a price match when price had fallen to 999$ one day. Sweet !
