I would give it 5 stars if the battery was actually all day battery as advertised. Besides that, great machine. Super bright display with an amazing response. Major update from the IPad Air first generation, I absolutely love my iPad all over again. Use for reading, writing, drawing, coloring. Amazing for shows too!! The Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard are truly phenomenal and work flawless with the iPad Pro. Most definitely will recommend an extra battery charger when on the run but this is a beast machine besides that !

A full blown desktop class computer in your hand! I've had many different android and Apple tablets over the years, and this tablet is just awesome. The screen is huge and easy to read. You can do anything with this tablet, the M2 chip is crazy powerful. This is the best tablet on the planet, no doubt! Nothing else comes close. The battery lasts me more than a week, and I use it several hours a day. Mostly reading, social media, and watching the occasional television show. The tablet is definately not cheap, but you are also looking at a top of the line tablet. If you have the extra bucks to spend, and you want to go first class all the way, this is the tablet for you.

The screen is beautiful and the iPad is large and easy to read. However, it costs the same as a macbook pro and the macbook pro does so much more than this ipad pro. I feel kinda ripped off by the price. If they made an ipad air wirh the bigger 12.9 screen size I would buy that in a second. They should stop reserving bigger screens for the pros and start focusing on people who need bigger screens but not sll the crazy new tech. I love this device dont get me wrong. I just still feel like im not using it as much as I had hoped and that makes it hard to stomach the price.

Saw nothing but negative reviews on YouTube and the āenlightenedā reviews mafia. Glad I ignored them. This is an amazing iPad. Yes, itās not for people who just got last yearās model, but for those of us dipping a toe in today, itās a fabulous piece of tech. I donāt want a MacBook. I donāt need/want a laptop. I want a quality tablet experience and content processor, and this does the job amicably. Iām a news hound, and this does magazines and news posts perfectly. In fact, Iāve noticed a lot of news sites set up their pages for all the crap ads on the sides and leave the main content alone with the larger tablet. Itās great for gaming, movies, and just about everything else Iāve thrown at it. For me, itās been worth every penny.
My 15 yr old daughter was so happy to get this for Christmas. I also purchased the Magic Keyboard and the Pencil. I had a hard time choosing between this and a laptop, since she writes a lot of papers for school, but my daughter is artistic and enjoys that the iPad Pro can be both a laptop for school work as well as using the ProCreate app to learn how to create digital artwork. (She usually draws or paints). She of course also loves to FaceTime her friends that have iPhones since I stick with Samsung for cell phones. I decided to set her up her own apple i.d. so I wouldn't have to share my cloud storage with her. Been used every day since Christmas and worked perfectly with no complaints.
The iPad Pro is still the best tablet on the planet by far. The display is excellent as always. Colors are vivid and text is sharp. ProMotion 120Hz is life changing; youāll never want to use a 60Hz screen again. The pro has some of the best speakers Iāve ever heard in a portable device, tablet or laptop. While the bass isnāt as strong as Iād like, (itās a miracle thereās as much as bass as there is in the ridiculously thin form factor of this thing) the mids and higher end are incredibly clear. Performance is overkill for iPadOS, but nonetheless the M2 chip speeds through any task you throw at it. You can try to make the thing slow down with multiple apps and tabs open, but itāll just chug on without breaking a sweat. Battery life lasts a full day and then some. ...Ā MoreThe iPad Pro is still the best tablet on the planet by far. The display is excellent as always. Colors are vivid and text is sharp. Itās not gonna beat out the 13ā M2 MacBook Air, but if youāre the type to plug in your device overnight regardless of its charge, then the Proās battery should be more than enough. Apple pencil gets a small upgrade on the M2 iPad Pro with the new āhoverā feature that allows a preview of the color, size, and angle of your brush strokes before making contact with the screen. Well this isnāt new technology by any means, its inclusion on the new Pro is appreciated. Magic keyboard support continues to be great and allows the iPad to turn into a versatile laptop that suits most peoples workflows.
Iāve had iPads since they were introduced. I decided it was time for a new one and splurged on the iPad Pro. I bought it on 2/11/23. I was so excited. I thought it was perfect. It was until 2/20 when the screen froze and there was no way for me to get it started. I couldnāt turn it off, I couldnāt even get the Apple logo to reset it. OK, so I went to a service center. They reset it and got it to work. I had to restore everything. Well, today (3/14/23) it happened again. I once again tried the internet solutions, but so far nothing has worked. I canāt restore it from my Mac either. Iām going to try and restore it from my PC tomorrow. Iām done for the day. Iāve had Apple products since the original Mac. I got an Apple Watch late last year. So Iām a fan girl from Day 1. Never have I had a dud like this iPad. Apparently this is a common problem given all the potential solutions on Apple Support and You Tube. If I canāt restore it myself, Iāll take it back in and see if the service center can āwipeā in again. And then⦠Iāll try to trade it in. For something else. Iām so done. Save your money.
Itās an iPad Pro M1 only better. Any M series processor is overkill for the iPad OS platform, but all the same, this is a very solid tablet with power to spare for those unique developers that can take advantage of it. It is also the first iPad I bought the over priced Magic Keyboard for⦠And itās a game changer much to my disbelief! It really does open the platform up. I use mine as a laptop, production monitor, audio production device, and hopefully with resolve coming out shortly, a field editor for dailies. Itās still not strong enough to be your main device, but itās a really good companion to anyoneās professional workflow!
I bought the ipad pro 2022 with expectations to learn how to do digital art. I hear a lot of raving reviews about the Apple Appstore exclusive, procreate. There are however a lot of caveats about the apple pencil (I have the gen 2) that people don't often emphasize, which I'd like to highlight in my review since I also have the samsung tab s7+. The Apple Pencil Gen 2 and the iPad does NOT work well with glass screen protectors. I don't care what the product description says on screen protectors; they just suck -- it basically made my quick notes app worthless (every time I tried to write on it, it drew a connecting line from the top left of the screen to wherever i started to draw). I tried restarting, unpairing and repairing the pen, toggling bluetooth -- the only solution that worked was taking my screen protector off. I've seen reviews of using other types of screen protectors like Paperlike, which you'd have to understand will wear down your pencil nibs faster. My other gripe is that quite often the apple pencil doesn't register or do anything, I have to dock it again and undock it from the magnetic side. This may seem insignificant; however, it gets annoying when you have a case on (and why wouldn't you want a case, when you know you can't have a screen protector). I wish it would just simply work. This draws my point to the samsung tab s7+. That is a 2 year old device, and granted, I would say it was the first tablet samsung put out that I would say could compete with the ipads. And it does so quite well. Samsung's had experience with the stylus for many years ahead of apple (because Steve Jobs detested the idea of having a stylus). The functionality of the stylus on the samsung beats the apple pencil by a long shot. It also feels more comfortable to use; however, that's a personal preference that you'd have to try for yourself. For me, the apple pencil just slides around on the slipper glass surface and makes it hard to really control compared to the nicer feeling tip on the S pen. Again, preference. At the end of the day, you pick an iPad over a Samsung if you absolutely must have the Procreate app and value longevity of software support. I believe the S7+ will be supported through 2024, but the S8 and beyond are supposed to get longer product support cycles. The ipad is significantly more expensive and hard to justify.
Where to start? The display is crystal clear, the iPad isn't has heavy as I anticipated and the screen size is great! I bought this iPad to use in addition to my MacBook Air. I was consistently carrying around my MacBook and wanted something that would function just as well. This iPad doesn't disapprove. I'm in real estate and have yet to find anything I can't do from the iPad that I can do on my MacBook. I purchased the Logitech keyboard/protector to go with this instead of the Magic Keyboard due to price. My only complaint is that the battery life seems to drain pretty quickly. So far, so good!
