Look, it's a nice product. It feels very sturdy and elegant at the same time. But I never use it. I thought I would for Illustrator and my design work, but no. Just no. The full versions don't work on it and would've been nice to know beforehand. Also, the camera quality for some reason seems off. My iPhone is better. Maybe it's a setting? If I had a kid, I'm sure he/she would use it for a wiping cloth to clean the Cheeto dust off. Or if I went to school, maybe I'd use it for notes and taking snapshots of the girls in the classroom sitting in front of me. But on the daily, I just don't need it. My iPhone can pretty much do everything that I need when out and about. I have an iMac for my serious design work. Also, can we please upload more than 10 mb of video? I had ... I had to edit my original video and use a potato quality setting to reduce the file size. Thanks - Jacob

I've always been a PC but decided to expand my tech knowledge to the Apple realm. I love my iPad and take it everywhere. I use it to create videos for my YouTube channel mostly but I also love the ease of surfing the internet and doing other day to day functions like eiPad. I also purchased a pencil so I've experienced writing and taking notes using the iPad. Definitely a cool feature! Other than the price tag I have nothing bad to say about this ipad.

I use my iPad every day for work, not as a computer replacement but as enhancement. For the most part I review and annotate (many) documents, take note during meetings, create vector graphics, and make presentations (it is better for that purpose than a laptop or a pc). Since I used it so much, I decided to upgrade and I don't regret the decision despite the dent in my wallet. The apple pencil is a slight improvement in terms of operation - the convenience of attaching it to the side of device for storage and charging is a game changer. I no longer have to remember to chart it over-night every few days. I also have the smart folio and it is an excellent improvement over the previous version. The iPad Pro is simply the best-in-class tablet device. The screen is beautiful, it is crazy fast, and the apps are excellent. Since I store my files on iCloud, integration is seemless: documents that I annotate appear on my computer within seconds of changing them. So it's not a computer replacement for me but, it helps me prepare the work I'm going to complete on my pc. YES, there are some limitations. I'm a heavy Excel user and the iPad version is crippled since the macros don't work. I can review and annotate others' spreadsheets, however, which I find more convenient then the text boxes or cell comments. I also use LaTeX (rather than Word) and I haven't found anything close to Emacs + AucTeX. And I cant use R on the tablet. Regarding the cost: Yes it is expensive. But over its lifetime it will more than justify the expense for me. And, like all Apple products, they are built to last and they retain their resell value.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have found the holy grail of tablets, and it goes by the name of iPad Pro. This thing is like a magical portal to another dimension where productivity and entertainment live in perfect harmony. First of all, the size is ridiculous. It's like I'm holding a small TV in my hands. I'm pretty sure I could watch a whole movie on it without squinting once. And the graphics? It's like I'm living inside the screen. It's like a mini IMAX experience, without the sticky floors and overpriced popcorn. But the best part? The Apple Pencil. It's like having a magic wand that can turn me into a digital artist. I can draw, write, and create all sorts of masterpieces with just a flick of the wrist. I'm pretty sure I could draw a portrait of Mona Lisa and sell it for a million dollars (Disclaimer: I have not actually tried this yet). And the keyboard? It's like typing on a cloud made of marshmallows. It's so soft and gentle on my fingers that I'm pretty sure I could type a novel on this thing without any pain or discomfort. Now, I know what you're thinking. "But what about the price? Is it worth it?" Let me put it this way: it's like having a personal assistant that never complains and always gets the job done. Plus, it's so sleek and stylish that it's basically a fashion accessory. So if you want a tablet that will make you feel like a tech wizard and a creative genius at the same time, get yourself an iPad Pro. Just be prepared to never leave the house again, because you'll be too busy creating masterpieces and binging Netflix on your new mini TV.
Excellent but rather expensive keyboard for the IPAD. A refurb unit was $250 but n my opinion well worth the price. No documentation came with it. No Pairing info but realized it wasnt needed. When the IPAd was magnetically connected to the keyboard all was recognized within a few seconds. There is no place to attack the Pencil but its a sim pal process to attach the pencil to the top of the IPAD. It magnetically connects instantly. Very happy with the purchase. It replaced a third part keyboard that lasted maybe a year. Could not hold the IPAD in any position. Im very happy with the Magic Keyboard and would recommend it for the purchasers of the latest 12.9 IPADs
I have gotten refurbished products before and was expecting this one to be about average but to my surprise it was more than that! It almost seems brand new! Theres hardly any worn spots or scratches or scrapes that most refurbished products have. Even the smallest of blemishes can be found on refurbish products, but not this one! I am extremely satisfied with this purchase! I will definitely check this company out again for the next time I need to buy any electronics!
Great product, despite how thin the keyboard it is, I still feel like Im typing on my regular MacBook. Protection is great. The added USB C pass through is also great. Constant backlighting is also very helpful. Trackpad is great. Only thing missing is a row of function keys. Other keyboards have these features though they are not as aesthetically pleasing, nor do they work/feel as good as the Apple keyboard.
For media content great, but if you web surf with aging eyes its just plain terrible. There's a few ways to try tweak past the readability issues, but most are inconsistent and way more trouble than grabbing my android phone that allows readable web page formatting no matter the browser. I can browse and read more clearly on my Android phone than can my Ipad Pro with much bigger screen. Be careful to review for your personal use what you will use for. Way more apps on IOS but miss my Galaxy tab that gifted away over this recently purchased Ipad Pro. The Ipad Pro has great hardware, tons of apps, and is a great media streamer. I have a retina iPad but its pretty much only been good for media, games and email. I got this gen3 for writing and art. Paired with an Apple Pencil and a brydge keyboard it is PERFECT for my needs. Way better combo than a MacBook for art and everything together is still less expensive than one too! The only thing I miss is the headphone jack. iPad pro gen3 is supper responsive and runs all my apps well. Scrivener and Affinity are a perfect fit. Battery easily lasts a work day so I just plug it in at night and were good to go in the morning. I used to be tethered to my desktop and Wacom cintiq but now I can go anywhere and be comfortable while I work! Will buy again.
I upgraded to this 2018 iPad Pro from a 1st generation iPad Pro 12.9. I mainly need more space, coming from a 128. I didnt think I needed to skip all the way to the 2021 model with M1 chip, based on my usage. So far, it prices to have been the right move! Ive saved hundreds by going with a refurbished 2018, and Im still trying s faster processor, brighter screen, and more space than I had before, all in a smaller form factor. For the record, my 1st gen iPad Pro is still working great and going strong, with no signs of slowing down. If youre in the market for a large screen iPad Sabas want to really save a few bucks, try a 1st gen.
