It’s not advertised anywhere, but this iPad SUCKS with Apple Pencil compatablilty. First of all, it isn’t compatible with the 2nd gen pencil, which you would expect. It’s also not advertised as such. Secondly, you have to special purchase a specific adapter from Apple, which is $20 and no where in town has them. It takes like 3-4 days to get. This is because the iPad 10th gen has a usb-c port, not lightening. So this tiny piece is ONLY for iPad 10. You also have to plug everything in each time you want to use your pencil, as it’s not Bluetooth. The shadiest part is that none of this is advertised, so it took me and my partner forever to figure out what the heck was wrong.Wish I I knew all this before. Would have saved a few hundred and gotten the 9th gen. So stupid.

A great upgrade

The new design (square edged) makes the iPad 10 a lot more useable for me the brightness of the screen really helps with sunlight and the speed it runs at is great I did however find that turning the WiFi to my 5ghz made internet speeds increase 10 fold making this a great piece of kit. The selection of colours are a great add to this upgrade I bought the yellow one which is a more metallic yellow and is pretty nice, the upgrades to both cameras has been great making this a lot better for those zoom calls. Price is a little high but with the trade in options you could save a little, unfortunately for me they did a 10% pay back 2 weeks after I bought it (bad timing on my part)Another thing to note the charger is now a usb c so a little more universal

Best piece of technology I have ever bought

I have never had an ipad until now and I can honestly say that this was worth thre price. I chose this one because i only use it for basic tasks such as browsing social media, watching videos, and calling people on facetime. I recently underwent shoulder surgery so I can't use my dominant arm, so the ipad made it super easy for me to navigate things. The gestures are simple and the usability is awesome. If you need it for work and other tasks I would look into more options to make sure it meets your needs first

Brilliant replacement Ipad
15 April 2023

The features and ease of use of this updated 2022 iPad are excellent. The slightly larger screen with the narrow black surround makes a real difference and improvement in the colour pallet is easy to see.It is very responsive. It was also incredibly easy to set up from an older iPad and the instructions were clear and concise. There were no issues at all. I can recommend this updated version without hesitation.

Expensive, but a smarter choice than the iPad Air
30 May 2023

This is a gift for my son, who really wanted the iPad Air, for no real reason other than the Air being "better" - mainly Apple marketing. The 10th-gen iPad, whilst massively more expensive compared to the 9th gen, is now largely the same as the 5th-gen Air. The Air seems to be Apple's attempt to compete with the Microsoft Surface, but making the keyboard optional. The final combination is then more expensive than a MacBook 13".I've only given 3 stars for value-for-money as I don't think Apple can justify a 40% price hike over the 9th-gen iPad.

Great product
23 February 2023

I bought this iPad to replace my 10 year old one .I am delighted with it. It loads very quickly . A bright screen made better by the thin surround . Perfect for my needs. The battery lasts well so not constantly needing to be charged. I like that you can swipe pages and not have to constantly click. A bonus is the fingertip recognition. No need to have to remember passwords . All in all a great product.

Highly Recommend for UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
20 February 2023

I use this product for university, as it can function both as a notebook, using the Apple Pencil first-generation, and a laptop using the magic keyboard. Size and weight is good, can maintain multiple apps and tabs with no lag. Audio is loud and clear, the FaceTime camera has great quality and its automatic focus can keep centred on a moving person. Overall, I love this product, I would highly recommend it for anyone studying, possibly useful in some professions or just wanting to stream their favourite show.

Pros and cons everybody will have to decided it for themselv
10 March 2023

I was looking for a new iPad to replace my iPad Pro from 2017. It got to the point where I had to charge the battery every day and I was fed up with it. I spent days researching which iPad to get. None of them stood out in terms of performance /price. I was hesitant to buy this due to every blog, vlog, video, article saying that battery life isn't great. I went ahead and I ordered it anyway. Unfortunately they were right. I only watch a couple of videos a day on it and I still have to charge it every day...such a let down. Also, I don't like the black frame around the screen either, very annoying. Other than that the video quality is a huge improvement from my old iPad.One that once opened you can't return it so be careful what you splash on. I think it's a miss ... MoreI was looking for a new iPad to replace my iPad Pro from 2017. It got to the point where I had to charge the battery every day and I was fed up with it. Works well but I can't update it so the browsers won't work
24 March 2023

I really like everything about this Iiad except I did not know that because it is a 4th. Generation I can't get a browser to work on it until it is updated. Exp.I cannot check my email or log into any of my sites. Thankfully I can read books on it but that is all. I could have gotten a Kindle if all I wanted to do is read from it. But it has a nice clear screen and works good as far as the home button works. I was replacing one that the screen had faded on and was hard to read on then finally died.
