I have also been impressed with the video capabilities of the phone, which allow for smooth and stable recordings even when I am on the move. In terms of overall value, I believe that the iPhone 11 is a fantastic choice. It offers a premium design, powerful performance, and excellent camera capabilities at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new smartphone.

I admit the lack of home button scared me at first, as I had previously only owned an iPhone 8 and iPhone 6, however the transition is smooth and rather satisfying to swipe away the apps rather than click… a feature I had not noticed before in previous makes. I admit when making this purchase I bought it for the camera, I had hopes of this amazing camera I could use for photography or simply to just take photos of day to day life and capture the exact beauty… whilst this camera does come with noticeable improvements from previous iPhones, it isn’t amazing. I would have wanted something more from a camera that had been the main focus of the phone. Despite this, the camera is still good! The features to expand photos to get more of the scenery in is amazing, the way it makes dark photos lighter, or even the detail you can capture in video, especially with higher settings. Something I had noticed that I wish this phone had, is fingerprint recognition. Whilst yes, the face recognition is cool, there are times where, it simply doesn’t recognise my face, or I’m wearing a mask so I can’t use it, or I’m laying down in the dark cuddled up in my blanket, face smooshed to unrecognisable proportions… and those times I have to type in my passcode just to see my notifications in further detail because the phone cannot see me. I have noticed that android phones still have the finger print recognition, despite the lack of a home button, and as well as face recognition. This is something Apple must think about in its upcoming products. I miss the simplicity of fingerprint recognition and it’s the one thing this phone is lacking. As for battery life. It isn’t amazing, but it isn’t as bad as previous generations. There is still a lot of work to do when it comes to battery life, especially when comparing my iPhone to my boyfriends android, his can last days where as mine is lucky to last the same day, with both of us using our phones just as much as each other. As for the waterproof features… yes this phone is waterproof, though even getting water inside the charging port will prevent you from charging. This feature helps to protect your phone from damage caused from water meeting electricity in the charger needed to charge your phone… you are also given the option to force a charge if it is an emergency and are warned of the risks. The best option for this is to having a charging pad, rather than a charging cable… though it isn’t exactly something I would have wished for a “waterproof” product to have. I think the next step is to find a more water friendly way of charging without there needing to be a risk warning at all, yet still being as handy as the lead charger, in which you can still pick up your phone.

Almost a perfect phone to use in late 2022!
18 November 2022

Well, I’ll start with the negatives I have with this phone: 4G. I think 4G in late 2022 isn’t going to cut it for most modern consumers. To be honest, it’s actually quite fast! Your apps and pages load up quickly however, there are too many times where your 4G just stops working altogether then, switches to the awful 3G. It might be best to buy a phone with 5G nowadays. However, with that minor gripe aside I can say that the iPhone 11 brand new is great! Fantastic camera(s), decent screen, battery life is impressive (for example if I’m spending around 7/8 hours a day on it, I’d be left with approximately 40-30% battery), and it still supports the newest iOS updates. As for the outer appearance, the rounded edges could seem a bit outdated to most since the newer ... MoreWell, I’ll start with the negatives I have with this phone: 4G. The back glass is very fingerprint friendly though, so I would recommend a case. Overall, this is a good cheaper option if you’re not willing to spend 600+ on an iPhone 12 brand new, or thousands on the latest model.

Apple Quality which Still Packs a Punch
13 October 2022

Despite this model being released in 2019 its still a very capable phone. The dual cameras on the back capture great quality photos even in poorer light conditions. The phone is very responsive even running the newest version of the iOS 16 software. The screen quality is crisp, clear, bright and responsive as you would expect even when i compare this to newer models. The battery lasts easily over a day for normal use. the phone is small and light enough in the pocket not to really notice it yet big enough that you can read the screen easily. I've never had any issues with slowness etc with any of the native apps or 3rd party apps that i have downloaded. Setup was extremely easy when moving from my old iphone and all of my data, apps and settings were migrated over ... MoreDespite this model being released in 2019 its still a very capable phone. This will easily last me 3-5 years before i will need to consider changing it up. In light of the current cost pressures this is a great alternative to newer iphone models and offers in most cases more powerful specs than current competitor products.

Excellent iPhone
5 February 2022

I have been using smartphones since I had to import my first Nokia smartphone from Japan because US carriers were behind the curve. I have used flagship iPhones and Galaxies, but this is the best one so far.I planned to use this phone until 12 came out, but that was underwhelming. The 13 Pro came close to prying this 11 out of my hands, but it just wasn’t compelling enough. I WILL buy the next flagship Pro Max that comes out for the camera upgrade, but the 11 is still a really strong contender even in early 2022. The camera is excellent, and having two optical focal lengths is still plenty for most non-pro photogs. The phone still plays most mobile games just fine, and it handles multi tasking (within the limits of any phone) very, very well. The phone still plays most mobile games just fine, and it handles multi tasking (within the limits of any phone) very, very well. I have kept myself out of the Apple ecosystem as much as possible, and Apple has finally made it possible to make third-party encrypted email apps be your default mail app and an open-source cloud app be your default file sharing. If Apple hopes to continue claiming to be privacy-centric, they had better not lock those back out like they were for so many years. The only drawback to this phone, and I use this term loosely, is that the phone got to just below 80% of the original battery capacity just before it turned 2 years old. I had Apple Care Plus, so I got a new battery right before it expired at no charge and now this phone will last at least 3 more years with killer battery life. My wife plans to replace her aging Galaxy S9 with this 11 when I finally get the next-gen iPhone.Save some cash and get the 11 (even as a refurb) unless you specifically need something the 12 or 13 offer; it will still be supported for several years and I would bet that for most users it should do everything you need. Oh, as for durability…. Mine has been in a Speck case since day one and has been dropped several times and the screen and all functions are just fine. (My iP8, by contrast, went through 3 screens with the same kind of handling over a shorter period of time. The durability is excellent on later-gen iPhones.)

Good Working Iphone
11 August 2022

8/1/22 was the first day that I owned this iphone 11. Today is 8/10/22. I had a little problem. I needed to type in the password I use to enter my mac computer desktop wall, a different password to enter in my ipad desktop wall, and another one to enter my iphone icloud. How did I find out? I had to get into a chat with an apple computer expert, who explained to me all of those steps today. Before getting into my chat call, on 8/1/22, my Best Buy rep did a good job trying to help me get my new refurbished iphone working as fast as possible understanding that sometimes it takes time for the phone-to-phone transfer. I also purchased a simple iphone cover and the thickest version of the screen cover. I heard of many complaints about this iphone 11. Because of the refurbished status of my iphone, I could not purchase a warranty. Like my old iphone 6S, when used, my iphone 11 has a tendency to heat up. So far, this iphone has been working really good for me. In summary, the reason of not giving a 5-star status is because warranty can't be provided. The battery seems to be working well. Because of the well-working status, the color of this iphone becomes secondary and the function & reliability primary. I am very pleased with the condition of this iphone.

I really do like this phone, and the Straight Talk Customer Service was very helpful, which is why I gave this 3 stars. However, it was a pain to get it going. First, I did not realize Apple doesn't send a way to charge this phone. They send a charger, but nothing to plug it into, like a wall adapter. When I got the phone, I was broke and having to quarantine, so it was another week before I could go to the store to purchase something to help charge the phone, which meant I could barely use it for the first week. Also, I almost threw away the activation and SIM card because they blended in so much with packaging. I was looking for a big red card and instead it was in a small gray envelope attached to the plastic wrap. Thankfully, I was able to chat with Straight Talk customer service, and they were really helpful. It turned out after spending all day today trying to get this fixed that it needed to run an update for about 30 minutes before working right. I can say now I like a lot about this phone, like the camera, having more space, and the sound quality. I had to buy wireless earbuds, but I am able to use some $25 Skull Candy bluetooth ones instead of buying higher dollar Apple ones. I'm also glad to see Spotify is compatible, because that is the main app I use. I think I will love my phone now that I can finally use it, but it has taken about two weeks of worry trying to get to this point.

Great phone, Brand new, Easy setup, Works perfect

I bought the Apple iPhone 11 64GB and it was brand new, unused, in perfect condition. It came with a USB to lightning charging cable. It's locked to the carrier of course, but if you maintain 2 months of continuous cellphone service, it will unlock (depending on what carrier you have, and if the policies change or not). It includes the SIM card. Just pop the sim card inside the phone, in the sim card tray, turn on phone, log in with your Apple ID, and activate it online. After you activate online, you have to restart the phone, and it instantly works. It was easy to setup and to activate. This iPhone 11 is VERY fast and can run all the apps quickly, even including games. The iPhone has 2 cameras, the regular 1x, and an ultra-wide camera. This iPhone 11 is VERY fast and can run all the apps quickly, even including games. The iPhone has 2 cameras, the regular 1x, and an ultra-wide camera. Both cameras are clear, sharp, and colorful. It has night mode so the camera takes good photos in dim light if you hold the camera very steady. The camera flash can be turned on, off, or auto, and it's a very bright flash. The camera is super fast too, you can take photos as fast as you can press the shutter button. For 99 cents a month you can get 50GB more cloud storage from Apple to backup more photos online. IPhone 11 can work with Apple Pay for wireless payments at many stores. It doesn't have Mag Safe, but it does wirelessly charge just fine if you put a MagSafe charger directly under it. Battery life is good. Face ID unlock is super quick, and much better than fingerprint unlock for me. Face ID just always works. The phone's brightness is good, I set it to just over half brightness indoors, and it can be read easy enough outdoors on full brightness. FaceTime calls are a great thing when you want to video call, because most people use iPhone now. Podcasts are fun to listen to, and you can get podcasts on almost any subject. iPhone includes great free software preloaded, like GarageBand for making music, iMovie for making videos, Numbers, Keynote, and Pages. The included Home app works with your smart devices and smart lightbulbs for home automation. Apple Books app has lots of free books on there if you like reading on your phone. The fitness app is perfect for tracking your steps and workouts. The "Siri" voice assistant is useful for setting alarms, asking questions, setting timers, getting the weather, but is not quite as smart as the Google assistant. If you want to use Google, you can download their app, and Google voice assistant works from within the app when you click on the microphone. All in all, this is the BEST smartphone you can get right now at this price point, especially if you are already in the Apple and Mac computer ecosystem. If you have a MacBook, iPhone is perfect with it. Your texts show up on your MacBook, and everything else links, like your photos, notes, emails, podcasts, files.
