Plus, the charging process itself was simply lightning fast (a full charge of the smartphone takes about 1.5-2 hours). For about 1.5-2 years I didn't bother with the battery at all, but after two years it, of course, "worn out" and started showing 80%, then I decided it was time to replace it. Replacing the battery in an iPhone is not a cheap matter, and also a bit stressful. I carefully studied this issue and talked to many services, from which I got the following (everything written below is true if you change the battery not in an official Apple service center): 1️⃣ no one changes the battery to the original (and if they claim that they have the original - you should think about trusting the service. In the best case, they have a Chinese copy, in the worst case, something completely incomprehensible); 2️⃣ if you are told that after replacement the battery will show the degree of wear of the battery - it means that you were simply tricked: the cable of the original charger was copied and entered into the phone matrix (maybe I am expressing myself a little incorrectly now, but I think the essence is clear). In fact, after such a replacement, your battery can always show only one value: if you were given 90% - it will always be 90, if 100 - always 100. That is, the battery just shows a picture, and not the real battery reserve (therefore, if you buy an iPhone on Avito, carefully look at what the battery shows: if the phone is used for at least 1.5-2 months, and the battery is still 100 - think about it, this cannot be). If, when replacing the battery, the technicians still bother with the cable, the battery may not work correctly or even with violations. As I understand it, it is not difficult to do this, but normal technicians do not advise it. After about 2.5 years of use, my battery started showing 76% and asking for service. Having studied the matter in detail and asked reliable sources, I decided to replace the battery with a fairly popular Dezhi (mostly installed abroad, I installed it in Turkey), which has a capacity even slightly larger than the native Apple. To be honest, I just stood like a “very angry teacher” near the technician, who opened the package with a new battery in front of me and replaced it with my used one. All together, it took about 15 minutes. I paid a little less than 4 thousand rubles (if you do the replacement with us, multiply the price by at least 2, and divide the quality of the battery by 2, alas). Almost four months have passed since the installation, and I am very happy with the replacement: if I charge the phone in the evening, then the remaining battery does not drop to 20% until the evening of the next day (and I use the phone a lot: including reviews on irecommend, I write on it, and take photos on it, and if I process photos, then also on it). I did not spoil the phone with additional cables, and the remaining battery does not show up. To summarize, I can note the advantages of the gadget: ✅ reliability: the iOS system is much more reliable for me than Android, because you can copy anything from the network to Android without the slightest protection (and you can also easily get information from the phone). With the iPhone, it has never happened that my data "leaked" somewhere; ✅ stylish design; ✅ high-quality photos and videos; ✅ durability: I have not broken a single iPhone over the years of use (and this is, at the moment, the sixth smartphone of this brand). Minus: ❌ high price. This is really a minus, the price is too high. At the same time, in the country of manufacture, the price is lower, but there are their own disadvantages of buying (which I also encountered, since I ordered one of the six flagships from there and had serious problems because of this). Even though I have to connect my head phones with the iPhone through the charging port ( honestly that’s what kept me from getting one when I initially got my note 9 instead) it doesn’t effect battery life negatively. If anything it gives it power and better sound from what I can tell. Customization is a little different from android phones. On my note 9 I could download Zedge and get all the ringtones, wall papers, and notification tones i wanted, not so much with iPhones ( however the camera in the 11 pro Max makes up for the lack in customization. I’m still mind blown about it. If the 11 pro Max can make it through a 2 year contract that I have the. I may be just be an apple customer from now on
