As far as durability is concerned with this iPhone I have to say it’s poorly designed by having the glass backing which literally cracked from a low to the floor accidental drop. It accidentally fell from slipping out of my hand to the floor. It fell flat on the underside of the iPhone and cracked the glass backing which also caused the aluminium blue area around the camera lenses to chip and break away. Seriously!! 😞 The damage was shockingly bad and looked like it had been thrown with such force and I honestly think this is the worst iPhone I’ve had since the iPhone 3GS! I hate android mobile phone software design so won’t buy those phones, yet currently I’m really disappointed with Apple’s iPhone 12 range. One the positive side, Takes a decent photo and video quality is fairly good. Have had minor software issues a few times after updating. I took out the extra cover with Apple Care+ and strongly recommend it no matter what model iPhone you intend to purchase. If you’re able to wait until they manufacture an iPhone that can withstand a simple accidental drop without damaging the product then it’s probably worth the wait. The protection cases are useless for stopping the glass backing from being broken in my experience. My iPhone has the protection cover on it from the beginning and still got damaged. I sincerely hope that Apple starts to improve the quality compared with the rubbish they are currently producing. The aluminium outer as well as the glass backing is a terrible idea too. I’m an Apple fan, have iPad, iMac as well and it deeply saddens me to have to write such a negative review, but I am honest and hopeful that this helps someone to make an informed decision on what they are purchasing. I regret buying this particular iPhone.

Android to iPhone Transfer - Pretty Frustrating

I just received an iPhone 12 mini yesterday, and so far using it has been pretty frustrating. I tried transferring my data over from my Samsung Galaxy A51 and I can only find my photos and videos. All my audio recordings and documents are just not there. And I am not going to pay a monthly subscription just so that I can have more than 5GB of storage backed up. Android does not have this problem. I’m also incredibly disappointed by its battery life; it has reached below 50% twice in one day by doing next to nothing, whilst my Android can last a whole night without dropping below 70%. Right now I can only charge it through my Android using the lightning - USB-C cable (the only cable in the box), which quickly drains the battery life of the Android. I don’t think I can fit the apps into the iPhone storage anyway. Overall, I do not like this phone. If you are an Apple user already, then this phone will be fine for you. But if you are an Android user, I do not recommend that you transfer.

JUNK! I did NOT have the setting to erase my iphone after 10 failed passcode attempts turned on and yet Apple locked me out of my own iphone that I paid for after approximately 20 attempts and ALL data was lost. I thought I could enter as many as I wanted since that setting wasn't turned "on". WHO IS APPLE TO LOCK ME OUT OF MY OWN PHONE? Apple had NO right to do that! I should be able to enter the wrong code a thousand times if I want to without Apple locking me out! They have no right to do that! Their "geniuses" couldn't do anything with it. I bought a 256 gb so I wouldn't have to pay for the cloud and therefore everything was lost! There are a lot of other problems as well. I was much happier with Samsung. Like my sister said "with Apple you're just paying for the name".

Just a little dissatisfied

I liked the fact that it was the phone I ordered but to be honest when I received it I was fairly disappointed. Yeah I know they say “get what you pay for” but I thought a grade B wouldn’t be as scratched up with paint chipping and what not. Nothing else is wrong with it that I’ve noticed…(so far) other than it not really being able to stay securely connected to any Wi-Fi. I don’t know if it’s the phone or the actual networks but that has been irritating me because it bumps me off every time I try to use an app with Wi-Fi. I have my service connected now but shutting off the phone and turning it back on doesn’t make a difference so hopefully it changes after time. Not what they advertise, poor quality.

I'm not new to buying refurbished products but usually the product description and details match the quality of the product. This product clearly is stated as "works and looks like new" but when I received it, it was completely scuffed and chipped around all sides of the phone. This product is not "restored" this is just used and in bad condition. The product doesn't even get shipped with proper protection. When I picked up the box I could hear the phone and charger rattling around in the box. Seamless Transition

Once I got the correct iPhone for our server out here in a rural location, the transfer from my old iPhone 6s to the iPhone 12 mini was very easy. I did not have to contact anyone from TracFone this time, it just worked with the two phones side by side and took only about an hour. Because of its small physical size, which is similar to my old phone, the battery life is not as long as the full size iPhone 12, but it’s still much better than the old one. Face recognition is so much more efficient, although sometimes it does ask me for the six digit code. I don’t miss the home button at all. Takes great pictures and has twice as much storage as my old phone, which was full, despite iCloud upgrade. I’m very pleased with this phone and have no complaints.

Very disappointed!

Loved this phone for the first few weeks. It was all set up with Text, phone, and security camera sounds that alerted me when I had messages, etc. coming in. All of a sudden, the Text sounds stopped! After contacting Tech Support twice, and Chat once, the sounds for Text messages still didn't work consistently. So far, I have taken it to BestBuy twice to have the Geek Squad check it out. Each time they got it working. But as soon as I got home, it either stopped completely or only worked sporadically. I have another appointment with the Geek Squad tomorrow to try again. Right now, the only sounds I get are for the incoming phone calls. I want to get this phone replaced but haven't found out how to get hold of a real person. Worth It

It comes with nothing but the phone, block, and charger. I'm OK with that. It doesn't have a sim card -- maybe that's what "unlocked" means, I don't know. As a result to was tough getting it synced with an "e-sim," but after a while on the phone it worked out, thanks to the patience of the people at my carrier. I haven't owned at iPhone in a decade, having owned Motorolas and a Pixel in the interval. This is a cool little phone, nice camera, fun to hold, easy to carry. iPhones make more intuitive sense that the androids I've used. Phone came in OK condition, a small scratch on the screen, but nothing distracting. Altogether, in my case, worth it.

This phone has left me speechless man😩. I bought 2 years after it came out at AT&T brand new because apparently the mini series didn’t sell well. People are legitimately sleeping on the 12 mini. This phone feels modern in 2023. It flies through iOS 16 like butter. The display has a higher pixel density then the 14 plus meaning the colors and pictures look absolutely 😩🤌🏼. It’s not to small nor to big it perfect. Not to mention the amazing pictures this thing takes. The battery isn’t horrible but not great, it’s manageable. The cool factory on this phone makes up for the battery life. Glad I didn’t have to sell an organ and buy the 13 pro or something 🤣 this phone is better
