It came next day and all I had to do was sit it next to my iPhone SE 2 and push the button. Everything transferred before switching the SIM card over.I bought it to replace the SE as it has a slightly bigger screen which is useful for use as a Sat Nav.You are not buying a phone, it is a camera, computer, language tutor, radio, tv, bank manager, compass, health monitor, exercise monitor, the list goes on.Face recognition after Touch ID is really welcome. Open the app and its had a look at you to verify you can get to work, no waiting to touch the button with dirty fingers in the garage.I was concerned about getting the bigger screen but not a problem for me.Two years guarantee, thank you JL and Apple.

My last few iPhones have lasted me a long time, I bought a 13 after almost 4 years with my XR (iPhone 10). With a good amount of time between purchases I normally see a big difference/improvement in many areas upon getting a new iphone. Not this time. Camera is supposed to be much higher quality - I can't get it to focus without having to manually switch a setting and even then the XR photos would focus better and show more detail in the photo. It sounds much worse than the XR did - on a call the sound quality is noticeably poorer than my XR. The style of the phone is reminiscent of an iPhone 4, boxy and small, fit is not as comfortable in my hand width wise as the XR (normal size XR) was. I'm seeing no noticeable difference in operating speed and battery life which are supposed to be improved, does not appear to be any different for me over the XR. In all I wish I had taken my XR to a repair shop to confirm it was not able to be fixed instead of shelling out almost $900 for a new iPhone that in my opinion is a down grade from the XR three models prior! Note that NOT included in the box is the plug required to charge this phone, and no headphones. The lightening cord from a newer previous iPhone will work if your going from iPhone to iPhone but if you are new to an apple phone I guess Apple expects you to spend $900 for a phone and not even provide you with what you need to charge it! I've never been disappointed with an iPhone purchase before (iPhone4, iPhone5, iPhone6, iPhoneXR) but I am now. Apple drastically lowered the bar on the standards of an apple product with the iPhone 13 (and it appears on the iPhone 12 as well from the reviews I'm reading on them). I wish I hadn't been in a pinch causing me to make this purchase without researching first, mistake on my part.

I am very impressed with the monitoring.Voice recognition on apple iPhone is more accurate and allows you pause longer when dictating. Upgrade from 8+. I thought it would be outstanding. I am usually adaptive and impressed with technology that makes using devices easier or more efficient. This phone is as heavy as the bigger one, but screen is smaller. Button on the side is more likely to turn it on while in my pocket. Face recognition is awkward, but safe. Removal of fingerprint seems to be a backward direction. Picture quality is noticeably better's well as sound.I think most people just go with what Apple gives you because there is no other choice (like me). If there were an equivalent alternative with different options, I would likely buy that.
If you are used to an android phone you will be so disappointed in this.At first I thought it was just not knowing how it worked but I am now finding things you just cannot do.I purchased this because it has apple car play and my car does not support android auto, I so wish I had not.So many features on the android that are not available on apple. When in any app if you need to change a setting you have to go into the general settings and find the app and change it - a lot of extra work. You cannot change the text size in messages app (text messages) without changing it all over the place. You do not get the ability for a quick zoom in zoom out of messages - so useful when you want to read a message quickly and don't want to put your glasses on but want to go ... MoreIf you are used to an android phone you will be so disappointed in this.At first I thought it was just not knowing how it worked but I am now finding things you just cannot do.I purchased this because it has apple car play and my car does not support android auto, I so wish I had not.So many features on the android that are not available on apple. Bought a Mini iPhone 13 initially which had to go back as it did not work properly. Torch came on and would not go off. Refunded and as there were no iPhone Minis in stock in the colour I wanted switched to iPhone 13. It has lots more memory so is better at meeting my storage needs. Having some issues with pairing with other devices which is taking time as I am switching between carrier and manufacturer as to what the problem is and both are directing me to the other so problem still not sorted. Had to completely re-register with some of my contacts as their website would not recognise the new phone. This hasn't happened before with other iPhones when switching to a new model. Not thrilled with face recognition. This hasn't happened before with other iPhones when switching to a new model. Not thrilled with face recognition. Definitely prefer the touch access on earlier iPhones.Phone looks good and I like the colour I chose. Camera is good and QR code recognition actually works on this phone. Took me a while to get used to the fact that turning off the phone is different and I wasn't always sure it was turned off as the slide function on the earlier phone has been replaced with a one step button press at the side. Preferred the slide function as it gave me more confidence that it was actually turned off. I am still learning.Phone feels solid and of good quality.
It’s not much different from my XR, camera is different but I only take screenshots so not exciting for me Really. I thought it was bigger than the XR but no it’s smaller because of the non curved sides and that’s annoying as wanted same size or bigger! the blue is not like shown on the app when I upgraded, it was advertised as prettier on the app but I opened it and was so upset as it’s so ugly and definitely a blokes phone for sure! Even my child (10) said “yuk” when I showed her! A very ugly dull blue that my new ordered transparent cover sadly won’t hide! I guess it will have to do for the next 36 months! Also the volume is so loud and won’t turn down for calls and texts, so inconvenient to have to have on mute 90% of the time! Battery is what it is, lasts long ... MoreIt’s not much different from my XR, camera is different but I only take screenshots so not exciting for me Really. I was led to believe that my 13 Pro Max would do and be all sorts of wonderful but, actually, it’s not much different than all the rest.Mine has a touchscreen difficulty, similar, at times, the issues that plagued me with my I-6… often I tap, tap, tap on the screen with little or no response. I have to either turn the phone off and restart it… or, reset network settings to get around it. On other occasions, I move my finger within a 1/4” of the screen and it activates whatever was nearest my finger. There have also been times where drops of perspiration, hitting the screen will change a display… depending upon where the drop of sweat hits the screen. There is a glitch, when taking photos, where the photo pixilates. Most often it will normalize when retaking the photo but every once in a while, it will continue to pixelate 2-3 times… differently, with each subsequent photo.I was led to believe that I would be able to take “macro” photos. Apparently, the individual making this claim knows absolutely nothing about photography. Yes, it… on occasion… will take a decent “closeup” (not the same as “macro”) but even that can be difficult and very time consuming because the phone camera cannot decide where the focus should be. My subject of the photo, “bounces” wildly around the screen and I must ready myself to make an extremely quick shot if it “bounces” into a more desired area, compositionally speaking. It’s extremely difficult, also, to get the focus on a smaller object in the foreground, if there is anything large enough, in the background, for the camera to focus on. An example would be, attempting to photograph, say, a flower in the foreground and leaves are behind it… the focus will switch quickly from the flower to the leaves in the background. There seriously needs to be a way to set the camera to focus on the main subject and leave the background blurry. The “portrait mode” is “supposed” to this but it fails miserably the vast majority of the time and you cannot get very close to the subject in “portrait” settings.
This is literally the worst phone I have ever owned. It constantly pocket dials 911 since a recent update. The accidental touch protection only activates while I am intentionally trying to unlock my phone. The biggest problem is the moisture detection. The tiniest thing will set it off from a piece of dust to high humidity. The plastic case makes wireless charging impossible so sometimes my phone will be dead for days.I've already had the phone replaced once within a few getting and the new phone they sent had the exact same problems.Absolute waste of money. I'm seriously switching to iPhone after this experience.
I literally pay $10 a month for the iPhone 13! $10 A MONTH - NOT REFURBISHED; NOT SLIGHTLY USED - BRAND SPANKIN' NEW! Granted it is not the newest, latest, greatest, but it is close enough for government work! It has the clearest screen and the speed is super fast. I have been a lover of Apple for years, but the cost of the machinery makes it virtually impossible to stay up-to-date. Now with Verizon's auto upgrade program, I will have the nearest new iPhone always.
