I just recently upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the iPhone 13 in pink and it is absolutely FABULOUS. The updates come automatically, and itās better than any other iPhone Iāve ever had. Itās got a larger, more squared off shape than the iPhone 11. Itās just everything you could ask for in a phone and more. Plus the case options are legitimately out of this world for the iPhone 13! Personally I have a floral case with a butterfly finger holder so I donāt drop my phone on my face. Itās really awesome and Iād definitely recommend this iPhone to anyone and everyone, itās especially great for folks who are new to iPhones as itās super user friendly and it explains everything when you set up your phone. This is my first iphone since the iphone 4. Im coming to the 13 after owning a Samsung s10+ for about 3 years. My first impressions on the 13 are the camera and screen quality is much worse than on the Samsung. Apps randomly open on this phone and sometimes close on their own. I thought that switching to IOS would make my application experience better because its a proprietary software that all developers could easily work on, however, Iāve soon come to realize that is not the case. Apps (like snapchat, instagram, google chrome, youtube) all worked better on an android phone. The iPhone just crashes or loses data too often. It looks like my mom's iPhone 5. The rear cameras are not great either. The battery will NOT last you a full day. Other reviews and people will tell you it lasts at least a day; it doesnāt. This phone also doesnāt have enough ram to be productive because the user has to continuously re-login to every website/app even if its suspended and not closed. I thought the A15 chip would be able to work some magic but it doesnāt. Most calls and texts do not go through so i have to remind myself to texts or call someone once I've left my location. Compared to the android, this problem didn't exist.Coming from an android made in 2019, i was surprised how much worse the newest iPhone is. I would have saved $900 and had a better experience if i didn't get this phone. I got it just for FaceTime and blue texts. Donāt make that mistake because nobody actually cares after you switch.

iPhone 13 WAS decent and then I got home and randomly it wonāt load any apps other than games. I can text call and go online to look stuff up. But whether I have Wi-Fi on or not I cannot get into Facebook instagram snapchat, messenger. You tube works, pandora and Spotify work, Certain ads on Facebook work but ofc the main things I use the phone for are just completely down as if iPhone is keeping us from using these apps. Legit donāt know what to do. Updated to iOS 15.0.1 and still nothing fixed. Turned off phone etc uninstalled apps etc nothing. Kinda done with iPhones thought this would be the one I kept permanently until the next but now I might just go back to Samsung. (This issue fixed itself eventually) But now just found out I canāt zoom in selfie mode which is just plain dumb. There are so many small things with the 13 that make me wish I just got the 10. I remember when the 10 came out the camera was unbelievably amazingly laid out and done correctly. Quality was phenomenal and it had so many cool features. The 13 has a random spot on the right side where it looks like a fingerprint scanner and it does absolutely nothing but pretend to be more than it is. I wish theyād read this and just take my advice and make the 10 again but have the color chart for them be normal. 6 colors pastel and non pastel.
I made the switch from Android to IOS because of health issues. Specifically the Health app being much better for ECG and heart rate monitoring. I also bought the Series 7 watch. I am very impressed with the monitoring.Voice recognition on apple iPhone is more accurate and allows you pause longer when dictating. Voice recognition is available nearly everywhere.Facial recognition is outstanding.Apple Maps app is not nearly as good as Google Maps, but you can install Google Maps. The IPhone requires learning many gestures, which are not always intuitive.I miss the back arrow function in Android.Siri has many commands which makes using the IPhone very easy. The IPhone is fast and the screen is excellent.Accessories are abundant. The camera is great. The ...Ā MoreI made the switch from Android to IOS because of health issues. Donāt be dissuaded by my snarky title, this thing is awesome. Iāve been reading user reviews and honestly, people complain about the smallest things and swear they have to return the phone. I like this one a lot, I donāt upgrade every gen and my last phone was an XS which I liked a lot. I had a 7 and a 5 before that and this thing is just a beast compared to them. I havenāt noticed any problems as of yet, in fact this feels like one of the few true upgrades to me. I was never much into taking pictures, I mean I did own a digital camera, but each new phone with a better camera really makes me appreciate photography. Now I take tons of pictures and this camera is honestly incredible. I doubt itāll change any SAMSUNG minds but for Apple people this is a great phone. ...Ā MoreDonāt be dissuaded by my snarky title, this thing is awesome. If you donāt grow personally attached to your hardware then I say go for the upgrade. Theyāre gonna get you anyway.
Quite disappointed with Iphone 13. At first I thought it was just me and lack of knowledge of the phone. So decided to give it time and learn about the phone. Coming off a older Iphone I thought would get the latest phone which is the 13. I will start with positives. Battery lasts awhile and the camera works good. Thatās about it. I have a lot of negatives about the Iphone 13. Just a few things I dislike. Itās slow, my screen is either to sensitive or not sensitive enough and inconsistent when typing. When I open my phone I will be on page I didnāt click on or open. Siri sucks. When talking to people I cut out and when face timing. At first I thought it was them. Just upgraded to this from a Samsung Galaxy S10e a couple days ago, and let me tell you something. For me, this was a huge jump because I've had very little experience with iOS prior to buying this phone. And to start off, I love every aspect of this phone, especially Siri and the cameras! Speaking of which, the cameras on this thing are insane! Way less noisy and grainy in the background than my Samsung. Another feature I absolutely love is the Face ID, which detects your face almost instantly, unlike my S10e. And the last feature I really love on this thing is setting Do Not Disturb based on location. This was a feature that my Samsung did not have and I cannot tell you how helpful this is! Overall, as a former Android user, I cannot tell you how much I love my iPhone 13! It has way more features than my old phone and it's also blazing fast! I would definitely recommend this phone!
Bought a Mini iPhone 13 initially which had to go back as it did not work properly. Torch came on and would not go off. Refunded and as there were no iPhone Minis in stock in the colour I wanted switched to iPhone 13. It has lots more memory so is better at meeting my storage needs. Having some issues with pairing with other devices which is taking time as I am switching between carrier and manufacturer as to what the problem is and both are directing me to the other so problem still not sorted. Had to completely re-register with some of my contacts as their website would not recognise the new phone. This hasn't happened before with other iPhones when switching to a new model. Not thrilled with face recognition. Definitely prefer the touch access on earlier iPhones.Phone looks good and I like the colour I chose. Camera is good and QR code recognition actually works on this phone. Took me a while to get used to the fact that turning off the phone is different and I wasn't always sure it was turned off as the slide function on the earlier phone has been replaced with a one step button press at the side. Preferred the slide function as it gave me more confidence that it was actually turned off. I am still learning.Phone feels solid and of good quality.
I was led to believe that my 13 Pro Max would do and be all sorts of wonderful but, actually, itās not much different than all the rest.Mine has a touchscreen difficulty, similar, at times, the issues that plagued me with my I-6⦠often I tap, tap, tap on the screen with little or no response. I have to either turn the phone off and restart it⦠or, reset network settings to get around it. On other occasions, I move my finger within a 1/4ā of the screen and it activates whatever was nearest my finger. There have also been times where drops of perspiration, hitting the screen will change a display⦠depending upon where the drop of sweat hits the screen. There is a glitch, when taking photos, where the photo pixilates. Most often it will normalize when retaking the photo but every once in a while, it will continue to pixelate 2-3 times⦠differently, with each subsequent photo.I was led to believe that I would be able to take āmacroā photos. Apparently, the individual making this claim knows absolutely nothing about photography. Yes, it⦠on occasion⦠will take a decent ācloseupā (not the same as āmacroā) but even that can be difficult and very time consuming because the phone camera cannot decide where the focus should be. My subject of the photo, ābouncesā wildly around the screen and I must ready myself to make an extremely quick shot if it ābouncesā into a more desired area, compositionally speaking. Itās extremely difficult, also, to get the focus on a smaller object in the foreground, if there is anything large enough, in the background, for the camera to focus on. An example would be, attempting to photograph, say, a flower in the foreground and leaves are behind it⦠the focus will switch quickly from the flower to the leaves in the background. There seriously needs to be a way to set the camera to focus on the main subject and leave the background blurry. The āportrait modeā is āsupposedā to this but it fails miserably the vast majority of the time and you cannot get very close to the subject in āportraitā settings.
