The iPhone 13 Pro is one of the better buys in a used iPhone, because it has the following features:-A bright, vivid OLED display-A 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and responsiveness-A high-quality camera with macro, night mode, and telephoto-5G, WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5-Magnetic wireless charging (MagSafe)-The still fast A15 Bionic processorThe phone supports the latest 17.4.1 operating system, and while the 14 Pro and 15 Pro are newer, they don't have a lot of features that are a significant stand out from the 13 Pro. If you want top quality but at a lower price, this is the right phone for you.

For those considering an upgrade or exploring the market for a high-end device, the iPhone 16 Pro is certainly worth a detailed look. Here's an in-depth review of Apple's latest flagship. ### **Design and Build Quality** At first glance, the iPhone 16 Pro doesn't stray far from the familiar design aesthetic Apple has refined over the years, but subtle tweaks make it feel more premium and modern. The phone retains its flat-edge design, a signature of the recent iPhone models, but introduces a thinner profile and lighter body thanks to the titanium alloy frame. This material shift not only enhances durability but also reduces the overall weight, making it comfortable for extended use. The Pro models also boast a frosted glass back with a satin finish, which reduces fingerprints and provides a better grip compared to previous versions. The three-camera setup on the back remains, but it's more flush with the body, adding to the sleekness of the design. The device is available in classic Apple colors like Space Black, Silver, and a new Blue Titanium variant that exudes sophistication. ### **Display** One of the standout features of the iPhone 16 Pro is its display. Apple has equipped this model with a 6.3-inch ProMotion OLED panel that delivers an outstanding visual experience. The screen is incredibly sharp, with a resolution that ensures deep blacks and vibrant colors. Whether you're watching movies, playing games, or simply scrolling through apps, the display shines in all scenarios. The 120Hz refresh rate, now more responsive and dynamic than ever, adapts fluidly to on-screen content, offering smooth transitions while saving battery life when not needed. The Always-On Display has also been improved, showing essential information without significantly draining the battery. Additionally, Apple's True Tone technology and a peak brightness of 2,400 nits make the screen perfectly legible in even the brightest outdoor conditions. ### **Performance and A18 Pro Chip** Under the hood, the iPhone 16 Pro is powered by Apple's new A18 Pro chip, marking a significant leap in processing power and efficiency. Built on a 3nm architecture, this chip delivers faster performance across the board. From launching apps to handling intensive tasks like 4K video editing or gaming, everything is smooth and lag-free. The A18 Pro also enhances machine learning capabilities, which impacts everything from camera processing to personalized features like Siri and predictive text. Moreover, Apple claims that the A18 chip is 20% more power-efficient than its predecessor, which helps extend the phone's battery life. In terms of real-world use, the iPhone 16 Pro feels incredibly fast. Multitasking is seamless, and switching between apps or tasks is instantaneous. For gamers, the device offers console-level graphics performance, making it a compelling choice for those who enjoy graphically intensive mobile games. ### **Camera System** The camera system on the iPhone 16 Pro is where Apple continues to excel, setting a new benchmark for smartphone photography. It sports a triple-lens setup featuring a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The 48MP main sensor captures stunningly detailed photos with excellent color accuracy and dynamic range. Night mode has seen significant improvements, and low-light shots are clearer and less noisy, thanks to advancements in computational photography. The telephoto lens offers a welcome 5x optical zoom, allowing for sharp, close-up shots without compromising quality. The ultra-wide lens is perfect for capturing landscapes or group photos, with less distortion than previous models. One of the standout features is the new ProRAW+ format, which combines the detail and flexibility of RAW with Apple's Smart HDR 5 technology. This gives professional photographers more control in post-processing while ensuring photos look amazing straight out of the camera. Video recording is equally impressive, with the iPhone 16 Pro capable of shooting 4K HDR video at 60fps. Cinematic mode has been enhanced, offering more control over depth of field and focus transitions. Whether you're a content creator or just someone who enjoys capturing moments, the iPhone 16 Pro offers one of the best camera systems on any smartphone. ### **Battery Life** Battery life on the iPhone 16 Pro is commendable, especially considering the power of the A18 Pro chip and the high refresh rate display. Apple promises up to 25 hours of video playback, and in real-world use, the phone easily lasts a full day of moderate to heavy use. Even with tasks like gaming or video streaming, the battery holds up well. The device supports 30W fast charging, meaning you can get up to 50% battery in just 30 minutes. MagSafe charging remains an option, and it has been slightly improved for faster wireless charging speeds. However, the absence of any groundbreaking advancements in battery technology might leave some power users wanting more. ### **Software and Features** Running iOS 18 out of the box, the iPhone 16 Pro benefits from Apple's latest software features. iOS 18 introduces several new tools aimed at improving productivity and personalization. Features like Smart Widgets, which adapt to your usage patterns, and enhanced multitasking capabilities make the user experience more intuitive. Apple has also doubled down on privacy features, giving users more control over how their data is used and shared. The new App Privacy Report shows in-depth details about how often apps access sensitive information, such as location, camera, and microphone. Another noteworthy feature is the improved Face ID, which now works at wider angles and in more lighting conditions. The Dynamic Island, introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro, has been refined further to offer more interactive notifications and controls. ### **Connectivity and Storage Options** In terms of connectivity, the iPhone 16 Pro supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring the fastest and most reliable connections. Apple has also introduced satellite communication capabilities, which provide emergency SOS functions even in areas without cellular coverage—a feature that could be a game-changer for adventurers or those in remote locations. Storage options start at 256GB, with configurations up to 2TB for those who need more space for photos, videos, and apps. The baseline storage increase is a welcome change, as more people rely on their smartphones for professional tasks that demand large storage capacities. ### **Conclusion** The iPhone 16 Pro is an all-around powerhouse that blends cutting-edge technology with Apple's signature attention to detail. Its robust camera system, stellar performance, and refined design make it an excellent choice for both casual users and professionals alike. While it may not be a dramatic departure from its predecessor in terms of design, the internal upgrades, particularly with the A18 Pro chip and camera improvements, make this device a worthy upgrade for those coming from older models. However, the premium price tag remains a barrier, and some users might find it hard to justify the cost if they already own a recent iPhone. That said, for those seeking the best that Apple has to offer, the iPhone 16 Pro is a strong contender for the title of best smartphone of the year.

Amazing iPhone
27 December 2022

Just a superb iPhone and a noticeable upgrade from my former iPhone 11 Pro. Got my 13 pro in the Sierra blue finish in the 256gb model. The Sierra blue is a gorgeous finish, with the stainless steel finish on the sides. This phone overall has a true premium feeling to it, it feels like a premium upscale device. The Ceramic Shield glass is a lifesaver, because I am someone who drops their phone A LOT, lol. As far as performance wise and battery life, this 13 pro doesn't disappoint not even the slightest. Battery life is solid (up to 2 days full usage), and performance is amazing. This phone is so fast at loading and downloading, thanks to mega fast 5G speeds. The biggest improvement I noticed coming from the 11 pro is the camera. The camera is just incredible, takes clearer and crisper shots than my fancy digital camera takes. I don't use my expensive digital camera anymore, I just use my iPhone. Not only do photos come out stunningly clear, video filming is where the biggest improvement over the 11 pro kicks in. Thanks to cinematic mode. Cinematic mode is absolutely astonishing, it's like owning an expensive Hollywood cinema camera in your pocket. As for screen brightness, the expansive 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR display with promotion is crisper than ever. The display is astonishing, delivering vivid brightness.

DO NOT BUY - Extremely Disappointed with iPhone 13 Pro -
27 January 2024

I just got my iPhone 13 Pro yesterday a, and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I feel compelled to share it with potential buyers.Firstly, the phone has a major issue with its battery life. Despite minimal usage, I found the battery draining at an alarmingly fast rate. It's perplexing how a phone of this caliber, touted for its efficiency, fails to retain charge even when not in active use. The battery issue is so severe that the phone switches off on its own, leaving me stranded and unreachable. What adds to my disappointment is the misleading information provided by the seller. The phone was advertised as 'checked and certified', which led me to believe in its quality and reliability. ... MoreI just got my iPhone 13 Pro yesterday a, and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. Great features, good customer service

This iPhone 13 Pro turned out to be a good choice for me. There was no way I could afford a brand new iPhone 15 or 14 with equivalent features. I’m an avid photographer and wanted the Pro version and also the generous storage capacity. The phone was delivered within less than a week as promised and is a huge upgrade in performance from my old iPhone 8, which served me well but couldn’t keep up with current operating system demands especially when travelling overseas e.g. inability to accommodate eSIMs. So far the camera alone seems amazing. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I had frustrating issues getting the Bluetooth to communicate with my existing devices despite going through extensive troubleshooting steps explained by online experts. I discussed my issues with the seller via web chat. They recommended I approach Apple support which I did in person at a local Apple Store which solved the problem in less than 5 minutes. Works fine now.

Much better than expected

As the description stated I should expect micro-scratches and a battery with at least 80% health but this thing looked like it just came from Apple and all that had happened was somebody pulled the static sticker off. The battery health was at 100%. Seriously, the only things that made it clear it wasn't brand new was that there was already a screen protector on it and in settings it said the Apple warranty had expired. I've had it two weeks and so far so good. I wanted to buy the Apple refurbished version but it wasn't in stock at the time and good for me because, although that comes with the one year Apple warranty, its $480 more. Thats cool though because I'll pay my Verizon bill with a Wells Fargo Visa card and get cell phone insurance included. Battery life-excellent: I could go almost three days without charging it with average use.Size-loved the size of the phone but for me, it would have been nicer if it were a tad smaller like the size of the iPhone 11 Pro. The 11 pro was the best size phone for me. I’m not a fan of the pro max or plus size iPhones because I have smaller hands and cant fit the bigger phones in my pockets or use one handed without dropping it. Some would say the bigger the better but in this case, not so much.Touch response/sensitivity-this phone was actually more responsive and quicker Than my current iPhone 15 pro and I used the thicker privacy screen protectors with it too. It’s been two and a Half years I’ve had the iPhone 13 Pro and I’m now starting to see a decline in battery life. My son uses it now and he Says it dies quickly and he Needs to charge it before the day ends. But again, teenagers are on their phones 3/4 of the day watching reels or TikTok videos or making them with their phones so battery life is gonna show some depletion esp two and a Half years old.Camera- the only thing I was disappointed in about this model is going from the 11 with two cameras to the 13 pro with 3 cameras I thought would be an upgrade. However, I noticed that in comparison the pros vs the non pro versions of the iPhone 13 take longer to boot up and focus In on an object. When filming a video, it’s nice to have the zoom upgrade during a video recording and have The clear sharp images the base versions don’t have but if you have a moment to capture a pic and time is of the essence, you’ll be disappointed in the camera on this phone because it has been the reason I’ve missed many moments that were from waiting for the focus to come in or it to boot up. I tested it against my husbands iPhone 13 many times opening the camera reaction times and the 13 would open faster and snap A pic before the 13 pro could fully open and focus To snap a photo. So, there are some benefits to the pros and some Downsides in the camera area. Use your judgment and decide Which is better for your needs.Price-The price is same as every new iPhone and comparable To competitor prices for the same phone category. It is $200 more than the base iPhone 13 and about The same as the Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra. DOne bit of advice for this phone-you’ll def wanna invest in. Case that protects the cameras and area Around the. As they protrude out further than any previous iPhone and are Constantly being broken because of it. The lenses are made from sapphire and are Not glass. So, the part to replace the broken lens outside the cameras are not cheap and can Cost upwards of $200 to fix a broken lens. My husband repairs iPhones and has Had to repair many of the 13 models and newer rear camera lens because it wasn’t protected with a tempered glass cover or a case that covers it.Overall, this is a great phone. I definitely liked it for some reason more than others. The one thing about my new phone (15 pro) that I love that was an upgrade from the 13 pro is the change in charge ports. The 13 pro uses lightning charger and they Changed to usb-c for the 15 models. That was the best move Apple could make. So, I am attached to my 15 pro now but still like the 13 pro as well.

Worst Phone Ever
19 May 2024

I finally switched from Android to Apple and boy am I sorry. I have tried for years to like this phone. It’s gotten so bad that to even get the pictures people send me from other iPhones I need to restart my phone multiple times. The internet connection is horrible (dropping and connecting) even though my husband and daughter both have iPhones and have no problems at the same time I am. All settings are the same as the others. I should have changed phones before, but I kept wanting the iPhone to work and didn’t want to hassle going through changing phones again. Not a phone I would ever recommend. It irks me that I’m spending so much money for a phone that is so inferior to any Android I owned previously. I will be switching back as soon as I can afford it.
