Itās what you expect from Apple, personally my phones get beat on pretty bad, Iām in the dirt, mud, rain, snow, from 90* to -30, everything MN weather conditions have to offer not to mention it gets dropped, tossed and just treated like a red headed stepchild. Other than being dipped in acid my phone is everywhere I am and I donāt use the bulky waterproof, crush proof cases, just a screen protector and a decent case. Iāve had Apple since the iPhone 4s and the only time Iāve had a problem is when it was my fault. As long as apple keeps the cost fair, stays up on the quality end of the spectrum and maintains a (keep it simple stupid) approach to their engineering so my Neanderthal brain can operate them, I wouldnāt by anything else.

The 14+ is an excellent phone if you want some Ty larger, but donāt need all the bells and if the Pro or Pro Max. I moved up from a mini 12 as my vision was not as sharp as before and this phone has worked out well. It has plenty of memory, an excellent battery which I have yet to get below 40% in a full day of use (5 am to 10 pm). The refresh rate has not been an issue for me and doubt Iād ever know the difference. The camera on the 14 series does a very good job and meets all my needs. Initially, moving from the mini to the plus, I thought Iād have an issue with the size, but I have not. I really enjoy the larger screen and the vivid colors. Overall, very satisfying phone. I have no regrets getting the plus model.

This is my first iPhone I have ever bought for myself. I have worked on plenty of them and as both Android and iPhone evolve, I am starting to see a lot of likenesses with some differences. Honestly if they both take from each other we could all have the perfect phone. If you are a regular iPhone buyer, don't upgrade from the 13 unless you are worried about getting in an accident. If you are an old iPhone user, this is a great upgrade. The face id is nice but some of the latest Android phones use face id and drop you into your home screen, not the iPhone it unlocks it and you have to swipe up. This does not bug me but if that is important keep it in mind. I like to close my back ground tasks which Android has a close all, but iPhone doesn't. The App store does not really compare the iPhone takes down Android and everyone else. Like Android, iPhone tries to keep you in the garden which is fine, but Apple is flexible enough to allow all your android services to move over to your iPhone which is nice. The hardware is on par with some of the top Android phones in some areas, but Apple is superior in photo and smoothness. The top Android phones do have the smoothness and quality photos but do not have the extra features for picture processing. You won't suffer having either, but the iPhone pricing is on par with the top Android phones and why not go with some superior hardware? Some feel they get better support with Apple; this comes at a cost, but I understand it. Apple like Google makes sure that you will likely run out of space and will offer to only charge you a nominal amount each month to increase your storage. I call this a toss up, because both companies do this practice. As far as moving from Apple to Apple or even Android to Apple, it was very simple as long as you know your passwords going into the process. I hope this helps some of you decide, the larger screen of the plus is wonderful for my older eyes, but my son prefers is regular iPhone.

I really like this phone and the camera. It is a little difficult to get used to not having a home button, but I love the facial recognition feature. It makes passwords so much easier and it works in just about any condition as far as lighting. The battery life is excellent. I upgraded from a 7plus and it hasn't been that difficult to transition to this version. Apple has made transferring to a new phone so much easier than the old days when I dreaded getting a new phone or computer. Of course the cloud helps.
I upgraded from an iPhone 12mini in which I loved the size but could no longer see very well without reading glasses even with its enlarged text) so I could have much better enlarged text and for the crash technology. I ride horseback alone alot so I was hoping this would be good in case of a bad fall but it states can NOT detect all crashes so disappointing in that respect. It also seems to have some of the same quirks that the old phone has. I do like the battery life. Haven't had long enough to use other features. At least I seemed to get a good a good trade in value without having to change to a more expensive plan so thank you Verizon (I am a long time customer)
Delighted with my IPhone 14Plus. The new safety features pair with my Apple Watch and allow me the emergency features of my previous medical alert button with fall detection and my pocket EKG machine without all that extra expense, bulk and taking up more room in my purse. Crash alert is another plus that helps me stay more secure on the go. Need I even mention the great pics, superb sound of my favorite music and ease of calling, email, internet and so much more. Love the red color, the magnetic charging and the nice sized screen. I loved my IPhone 11, but the trade in made it a simple, affordable upgrade that suits me well. Once I went Apple, I never went back and dont ever intend to.
I love it! I was a little leary of getting a new phone do to having learn all the things that I took for granted on my iPhone 6 plus. I have been pleasantly surprised. Learning this phone has been so simple. Things have run so smoothly and as much as I hated giving up my iPone 6 plus, I am glad this is the phone I chose to replace it. One many of the things I have found to be easier is not having a home button. It actually gives you more freedom by not having to push the home button to do things. The only downside I have found is a couple of apps I use are not available for the 14 plus. They will be but not yet. I rate this phone a 10 because in my opinion, it has earned it.
Watch out for the Learning Curve.I like several things, some I haven't tried yet. The one frustration I have is finding the "spot" to slide up and delete open apps. I have found that a gentle slide from lower left brings them out...but not always on the first try. I have had trouble with one of my apps - getting the password, etc. corrected. and I was recvg. warnings on calls I dialed about my "last line". I think it finally went away...Verizon couldn't resolve it for me. But I do like Verizon overall and think the phone will settle in and be user friendly (emphasis on Friendly.)
My wife and I both had Apple 8 Plus phones. We really liked our 8 Pluses as they were solid, reliable, and always worked well - with the exception of the fingerprint reader, which didnāt always perform. I frequently had to enter my passcode. We replaced the 8 Pluses with 14 Pluses and love our 14 Pluses. The Face ID on the 14 Plus is MUCH better than the fingerprint ID on the 8 Plus. The 14 Plus is a solid upgrade. We are completely satisfied with the 14 Plus in every respect. It is fast and easy to use and the display is sharp and crisp. The only complaint that I have is that I use the alarm for morning wake-up and sometimes have to fumble around on the screen to turn off the alarm. In that respect, I miss the home button. Overall, the iPhone 14 Plus is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a very capable, reasonably-priced iPhone that doesnāt necessarily have all the bells and whistles but does have solid performance and ample capability and features.
Now, before reading this I have not used this iPhone, so take me with a grain of salt. But, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are not big upgrades. The baseline 14ās have the A15 bionic chip from the 13 Pros last year, so there is a slight upgrade in performance. However the 14 Pros have the A16 chip which is around 18% faster then the A15. However I think the 14 Plus will be a big hit this year, you get a huge screen under $900. But, the 14 Pro and Pro Max are much better with new features, and the normal person probably probably doesnāt care. So, if your thinking about buying the 14 or 14 Plus, go ahead and get the 14 Pro, youāll be much happier with your money, but if you canāt, these phones will be great and all. Itās just you get more value with your money. So yeah ...Ā MoreNow, before reading this I have not used this iPhone, so take me with a grain of salt.
