The photos and videos it produces are stunning, and the low-light performance with Night mode is impressive. Selfies and video calls also shine with the upgraded front camera.iOS 17 is as user-friendly as ever, and I appreciate the privacy features Apple continues to enhance. To sum it up, my personal experience with the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been fantastic. It’s a flagship device that sets a high standard. The concerns about overheating that some have raised don’t seem to hold in my day-to-day usage. If you’re in the market for a top-tier smartphone, this is certainly one to consider.

I ordered 2 Pro Max 15s with Verizon a little after launch. Verifying phone numbers took a few tries because Verizon’s system was slow to verify but I was able to get both the White (hardest) and Blue (easy) preordered successfully for launch day.The White is one of the most popular colors so I had to choose to have it delivered but the Blue was easy to get and I was able to choose in-store pickup at my local BB. I was a little worried they would have them on Day1 since these sold out so fast on the Apple site so I was checking constantly to see if it shipped or was ready for pickup. The day before I saw both processing so all was good!!! Bestbuy even overnighted the White one and I had both phones in hand on launch day. The day before I saw both processing so all was good!!! Bestbuy even overnighted the White one and I had both phones in hand on launch day. Great job BB!Verizon activation was an adventure though. I did an ICloud Restore which worked great but my 12pro had a physical SIM and the new ones since the 13 only have eSIM, meaning you can’t just transfer using the phone restore process. Long story short I ended up having to call and use chat as they kept messing up the activation and IMEI for each phone. They were pretty responsive and answered their calls in 10 mins or less but this could’ve been avoided if they set it up right from the start. Hopefully this is easier in the future with eSIM to eSIM activation. Make sure to have your phone backed up and your old phone handy to do all the Apple verifications! As for the phone itself, the 15 Pro Max is a huge upgrade for me coming from the 12 Pro:- USB-C finally! And with the Pro models you get the faster 10Mbps speeds which is great for larger pictures, RAW files and video or recording directly to an external SSD drive.- 120Hz screen with 2000nits. iPhone has always been smooth but the 120Hz is next level of smoothness and the brighter OLED is even better for HDR content.- WIFI 6E is great if you have a router or mesh system capable of the newer standard. My speeds increases about 30% to the max of my gigabit plan.- The new 5x optical “periscope” zoom is fantastic for further objects and the new “portrait” anytime mode is great as you can modify pictures later to change focus even if you didn’t shoot in Portrait mode.- Dynamic island isn’t new but it’s new to me and really adds nice interactive functionality while looking a lot nicer than the old notch.- 256GB minimum storage is excellent even though I use ICloud 2TB storage as my old 128GB was almost always full so less shuffling pictures and video to iCloud.- Titanium body is less fingerprint prone and it also makes the phone feel a lot lighter, almost the same as my 12 Pro.- The new A17 Pro chip is slightly faster overall and a good bit faster for graphics. I don’t really game on phone so not as big a deal for me. The increase in RAM from 6GB to 8GB is also nice for multitasking so I don’t need to close out apps as much. Overall I do notice the phone is more responsive with apps and even shutting down and booting up is a lot faster, which I had to do a lot during activation. The only negatives is the battery life isn’t as good as I thought it would be. Maybe because I had the phone open so much trying to troubleshoot, restore and activate but it seems to drain pretty fast. I’ve read the A17 pro chip isn’t as efficient as you’d expect on a new process mfg node, and the chip also seems to throttle more when using intensive processes, but that is more of an issue with TSMC 3nm process that all the phone chips are going to deal with. The titanium shell also seems prone to discoloration but I use a case (because kids) so not a huge deal to me.Still overall this is a pretty massive upgrade for me from the 12pro and BestBuy did a great job coming through. I also get AppleCare+ on both phones with my BestBuy Total membership, which more than pays for itself with AppleCare+ in 2 phones. Very happy!

Preordering should be a way for customers to secure their devices ahead of time, ensuring they are among the first to enjoy the latest technology. In an era where timely delivery and efficient logistics are crucial, it's disappointing to see such a prominent telecommunications company falter in this regard. This experience has not only soured my excitement for the iPhone 15 but also made me reconsider my loyalty to AT&T as a service provider.I hope AT&T takes these concerns seriously and works to improve their preorder and shipping processes in the future. Customers should feel valued and appreciated for their loyalty, especially when preordering flagship products like the iPhone 15. Sadly, this time, AT&T fell short of those expectations.

The new iPhone 15 Pro Max is another solid release from the brand. The rounded edges and the lighter titanium feels comfortable in the hand…a bit more than the previous 14 Pro Max. iOS 17.0.2 has been running smoothly so far although those that tried to setup earlier in the day via iCloud may have run into issues (which was quickly addressed with the iOS update and prevented others from experiencing the issue thanks to the ability to update the iOS before reaching the data transfer step).Unless you’re coming from a much older iPhone and iOS version or from a completely different device the interface is familiar (especially if you were able to update to iOS 17 at release on a prior device). The change to USB-C is going to be welcomed by many but will cause ... MoreThe new iPhone 15 Pro Max is another solid release from the brand. It does afford you having everything or almost everything in the ecosystem share the same charging method. The cable that comes with your phone now has a woven textured cover versus the rubber most are used to. Only time will tell if this will hold up better for those that may have experienced issues with the old ones (like splitting and exposing the wires). The old usb-c ones will still work so if you have them you don’t have to be in a rush to buy additional cables. The camera is a nice upgrade and additional setting options that you will want to take a little time to adjust to your needs. Bringing Devices Together feature has worked well so far to quickly share photos and files with another iPhone…as a quicker way to do AirDrop. You can turn it off if you’re not comfortable with proximity sharing and prefer to manually use AirDrop. The Action button that replaces the silent/ringer switch you’re accustomed to works well. You can opt to keep it at its default to switch between silent and ringer (instead physically moving the switch you just press and hold for a quick second to switch between the 2 options) or customize it to whatever would be more purposeful for you.The blue titanium color is just a hint of blue that is a little more subtle than some may expect but is still nice. I wish the Deep Purple color that was available with the 14 Pro series would have carried over to the 15 Pro series though. If you have the 14 Pro Max you won’t see a ton of changes and may be a little underwhelmed if you’re looking for a significant upgrade. But if you feel like your 14 Pro Max is a little heavier than you would like you will definitely be able to feel the difference. Ultimately I don’t think you would be making a bad decision if you upgraded but you could completely stick with the 14 Pro Max without feeling any serious FOMO.
I wasn't sure if this would be worth it, it's stupidly expensive and I was nervous about the size increase from my 13 Pro.But I love it. Yes it's bigger but only about a cm taller and barely half wider and whilst it weighs a bit more it's not really noticeable due to better weight distribution. The cameras are superb, so clear and sharp almost on a par with a decent DSLR in some instances and the 5x zoom is very effective especially with the added stabilisation. I used to always shoot in Raw but the new high res 24mp means produces excellent shots straight from the camera. I also really like the depth map which produces very natural looking bokeh which is adjustable by focus point. The USB C charging is a very welcome addition finally means just taking one cable ... MoreI wasn't sure if this would be worth it, it's stupidly expensive and I was nervous about the size increase from my 13 Pro.But I love it. Battery wise it's early days, I'm not getting masses more than my smaller 13 but still plenty enough to get through a day's heavy use. My phone is a major part of my work flow, so the 15 Pro Max extra screen size ticks loads of boxes as it's big enough to get a lot done on the move. The Dynamic Island is cute and really handy for calls and changing music whilst you're doing other things. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the always on display, it feels a bit unnecessary and I keep thinking the screen is on due to a notification. It probably just takes getting used to but I may turn it off.Overall I'm really happy with my purchase and whilst it's only two models on from the 13 Pro I still think it's a very worthwhile upgrade.

The usb port on it has taken some getting used to since all the cords in my house were lightening chargers but it's about time that Apple caught up to the rest of the cellphone with that feature. It's the way of the future. I bought the Natural Titanium, and the color is great looking in person. Overall, the phone feels very nice in the hand with the beveled edge on the back side. The display is sharp and it remains bright even in the sun unlike my old iphone 7. Colors are bright, blacks are inky black, and whites are clean. Battery life has been impressive so far and I watch a lot of youtube videos every day. It gets me through a full day easily with moderate to heavy use. The cameras are incredible. Really. In some cases, it’s on par with a DSLR camera. Photos are in 24MP standard, and so far I've been impressed with the photos and video quality. I honestly have zero complaints about the phone so far and would recommend it to anyone that needs an upgrade.
The iPhone 15 is neat, but does not immediately provide a sense of moral superiority, additional social cachet, improved political sensibilities, or increased intelligence. I still have the same shabby clothes in my closet and my dogs still mocks my sense of style despite my slightly improved photographs of him staring at me.The camera is a noticeable improvement, but probably not worth the added cost. The screen is larger, more luscious, and comes with a faster response, and yet somehow still pours forth the same volume of insipid social commentary and vacuous examples of human mediocrity flushed out of the old phone.I like the charging port, but suddenly I can't borrow any of my friend's cables. Now disdain is all I receive from people with 'old' phones who imagine my dismal spending habits somehow diminish the wisdom of their own frugal choices. These lightning cable snobs wallow in their schadenfreude as I watch the world's most powerful hand-held computing device devour the world's most optimized battery without care.Should you join me in buying the iPhone 15? Your dad would tell you, "NO" and in your heart I suspect that tiny little Jiminy Cricket voice says the same.On the other hand, I am lonely with this fancy phone and desperately hoping others fall to my fate, so please, don't look at the price, just think of the payments and join me.
Upgrading from an IPhone 12 Pro Max because I had no other choice at this point after the “geniuses” failure to repair it 2-3 times now (hooray for applecare?) Still has many of the same issues- the algorithm for connecting to WiFi remains awful. It doesn’t choose the best connection in my home, it demands to be glued to one node making connectivity difficult. It does weird things with the keyboard disappearing and certain apps dying.Feels and acts similar which is tragic to spend this much money on essentially the same thing from 4 (5?) years ago. The USB-C is a nice feature but honestly we already have a ton of lightning cables and it would be silly to upgrade just for that. The faster refresh rate is cool for about 20 minutes until you get used to it.The ... MoreUpgrading from an IPhone 12 Pro Max because I had no other choice at this point after the “geniuses” failure to repair it 2-3 times now (hooray for applecare?) If Apple had put as much money into removing the notch instead of trying and selling this as a feature I’d imagine I’d have a solid full screen (which would have been worthwhile). The always on display is flat-out annoying and makes no sense unless you’re using your phone as a clock on a desk or nightstand. 9/10 if you check the time on your phone you pull it out of your pocket which automatically shows the screen anyway. The camera is better but I’m taking pictures of my kids a few times a week and a total of 3 selfies (with my wife or kids) a year. The old camera was fine and not worth the cost.Honestly just sad and I feel like an idiot for rewarding apple for mediocrity. If I wasn’t a coward I would have gotten a Samsung Fold which looks nicer, has a prettier screen, and more features. Is it a nicely made phone? Yes. Is it nicer than last year’s model (which my wife owns)? No. Is it that much better than the IPhone 12 to warrant an upgrade? Absolutely not (unless apple simply can’t figure out how to repair your phone).
