Best Modern Telephone / Camera

As these devices go this is probably my favourite new mobile telephone, camera and handheld computer. The integration with Apple software and hardware makes for an excellent user experience meaning that you spend less time staring at the iPhone in favour of easily getting things done and getting on with your day. The camera is impressive in a variety of lighting conditions. I fault this iPhone in that it is too large and cannot be operated single handed in the way Steve Jobs explained for the correct size for iPhone's. Whilst Apple are always telling us how thin devices are the camera bulge is obtrusive!Despite these design flaws I still recommend this device as it is the best in its class in the modern oversized age.

Disappointing launch!

Disappointment! Camera control button is a joke, gimmick at best, 16 pro is just a 15 pro and makes no difference. All the features are available to the 15 pro, wonder why charge us so much for this?Save your money and buy the 15 pro. All the marketing about apple intelligence and it doesn't come out completely until next year. What's the point of the false marketing?Camera and battery is good for now. And I'm glad Apple FINALLY started using USB C (from 15 pro).Look elsewhere, so many better phones this year.

While this phone is really good from build quality to performance, it’s an incomplete release. There are no Apple Intelligence features on this phone. Apple say the AI features won’t be coming to the UK until December and the full suite won’t be available until March/April 2025. Very disappointing, the phone itself whilst really good, isn’t that much better than my iPhone 15 Pro Max which is a top notch phone at a reduced price at the moment. If I didn’t already have one, that’s what I would be buying instead of this.

No big upgrades yet
4 October 2024

Not much of an upgrade yet. Battery life is ok. I remember when a new iPhone 4s,6s,11 would last two days before needing a charge. This one with all its new features last just over a day before needing a charge(30% and under)No major differences since the 11 model. Only small changes.Hopefully the AI that gets released next year changes that.Build quailty is greatScreen is excellentSpeed is very responsive

Not as described
16 October 2024

I ordered an IPhone 16 Pro 256 GB with version international and in description says: „Camera shutter sound: No“. But I have received an J/A Model which means a Japanese/Korean Model and there the camera shutter sound is not possible to mute. I sent back item and requested refund. Noon declined. So ridiculous, will raise a chargeback in my bank. I already bought my my old IPhone 15 Pro in past here at Noon, but now I will definitely never do it again. Better go to another website or to a local Shop.

While the iPhone 16 pro falls short for money value compared to base model 16, it still is by far faster them its predecessor the iPhone 15 pro. I ultimately couldn't recommend the pro version if you're looking for value for performance when the base model is there and you get all the same features as the pro. Not to mention the 60hz stays even in the 16 pro line. Even then the apple intelligence is still a work in progress and doesn't release with iOS 18 or the 16 models.TLDR: skip

[Rewarded Review] I love this new phone
4 October 2024

This is a substantial improvement over the previous iPhone 12 mini. The brighter screen and longer battery life are a plus. The cameras are useful and enjoyable to use, especially the Macro. I can’t wait to post process the pictures and compare them to my Canon R6 ii camera for Raw file images. The video is exceptional as well. The new camera function button is clever but a little strange to use.

[Rewarded Review] Solid S year upgrade.

Solid S year upgrade.I generally prefer upgrading during an S year where there is a consolidation of features rather than having new untested features. It does not feel comfortable sitting on a table without a caseZoom camera really underwhelming compared to Android counter partsCamera button not particular useful IMO for adjustments, quicker with touchscreenCamera button not good for taking pictures, requires probably 3-4 times as much force as my mirrorless to press. Results in change of framing.iOS 18 has been fairly buggy early on, no deal breakers but some annoyances8GB RAM instead of say 12, feel like the Pro should get more.I feel like this is a good year to upgrade if you are starting to have performance/battery issue with your old phone. But if you like to jump in for new features this seems like a year to pass. I'm firmly in the former camp and would much prefer year 2-3 of a package after refinement and consolidation which this seems like.

iPhone 15Pro with slight improvements
5 October 2024

Good solid phone despite only the minor improvements over the 15 Pro. I've gone from a 14Pro to this & really like how lightweight & comfortable it is to hold in your hand. The thinner bezels make it seem fresher too, is plus the camera jumps are good too.Was concerned about the battery life not being much better when I first got it, but with 18.0.1 I've seen a significant improvement to it. Probably not worth upgrading to it if you've got anything newer than a 13 Pro, but even from the 14Pro it was an upgrade

iPhone 16 Pro
8 October 2024

I’ve used android devices for years and only ever had an iPhone once ( iPhone 4). After getting this phone, I’ve realized that I should’ve switched back to iPhone years ago. There are so many features that my old phone didn’t have and the difference in speed is instantly noticeable. I still have some things that I miss about my android phone but once you get used to the operating system, it’s not that bad at all. The camera button on the side is very useful and helps getting those quick shots even faster. 512gb of memory is plenty for all my needs. Highly recommend this phone!
