For an iPhone SE with 3GB RAM and the familiar fingerprint scanner, just around $200 was a good price. The phone is faster and more capable than my old iPhone 8. I know they are mostly the same, but I’m happy to get an upgrade with more memory. 2GB RAM just isn’t enough for a phone any more. When I look at the similarly priced Android phones, I see that they have 8GB RAM. However I can guarantee that their processors are not nearly as sophisticated as the iPhone’s. That’s where iPhones shine. I’m sad they didn’t give the SE a camera upgrade, but their do seem to be more functions like putting an AI creature overtop of myself during video calls. I haven’t tried it, but it’s neat to see the option that I’ve seen others use that I never had the opportunity for. How did she know? I think the iPhone 8 and SE are so similar that only the little blue-colored camera on the SE appears different to me. Mind-boggling…

This is a great little phone for us practical folks who don’t often upgrade but still want a phone with most of the nicer features that are on the bigger more expensive phones. I actually have an old Gen 1 SE still being an awesome little phone that still works great and that led me to pick the newer SE up when it came out. I barely early adopt any new tech when it comes out unless I really believe in it and this phone mostly delivers. A huge bonus for me on this one is it still has the home button. I just prefer having a tactile button that I can feel, you know? As for the rest of the phone, again, decent for the price. Good sound quality, fast, has all the features I want out of a phone. It is a phone after all and not a camera so it definitely gets the job done. If you want a better camera though you’ll have to shell out for the more expensive phones however. Or, you know, an actual camera. My biggest gripe with all iPhones I’ve used, with this being no exception, is battery life. It seems great at first and within a year or so you definitely notice it become shorter and shorter. I don’t know if that’s Apples forced obsolescence trying to push you to a new phone every year that you really don’t need. I don’t know if they just use inferior batteries to make money selling you a replacement battery. All I know is that it doesn’t matter what phone it is from Apple, the battery will always be a huge let down. This alone is the reason in fairness I can not give this phone 5 stars.

Sorry Best Buy fans, this phone is an Asian knockoff and has quality quirks with its IOS. It drops calls within heavily concertrated Wi-Fi connected areas. It does not maintain consistent Wi-Fi contact during a call and, for business reasons, leaves a poor impression on the user and the customer. The battery never keeps a non drained charge over 9 hours. I can rate the delivery experience and what is included with the phone but it's impossible to give a review of the actual product since every phone's condition will be different and there are various vendors supplying the restored phones. The phone arrived quickly and was packaged well. It came with a charger, sim removal tool and a screen protector. The battery was at 85% and it was listed as being better than 80% so that was good. On my phone there were 6 noticeable scratches on the screen. Two of them bigger than the others and one near the middle of the screen. It's not too deep but I can see it when the phone is in bright light. There is supposed to be a 90 day return period but I don't think I care enough to swap this phone for another one that might be in ... MoreI can rate the delivery experience and what is included with the phone but it's impossible to give a review of the actual product since every phone's condition will be different and there are various vendors supplying the restored phones. There is supposed to be a 90 day return period but I don't think I care enough to swap this phone for another one that might be in worse condition. You are buying a used phone so expect it to look used. The setup process was easy. I was able to transfer the data from my old iPhone by putting it near the other phone. This phone doubled the storage of my old phone so that's pretty awesome. I would suggest getting a case as soon as possible for the phone. It's very slippery and I almost dropped it 5 times before the new case arrived. This phone will support iOS 16 which is why I upgraded from the iPhone SE original. It's slightly larger than the old SE model and my tiny hands have trouble reaching the whole screen if I use one hand. My thumb can't reach the one corner of the screen. I had to rearrange my icons so the important ones were within thumb reach. It also has an extra row of icons since the screen is slightly bigger. It has 24 app icons per screen. This phone doesn't have a headphone jack but there are lightning to 3.5 mm jack adapters out there. I ran a free IMEI check on the phone to make sure it wasn't stolen and ran a free diagnostic program to make sure everything was working as it should. Both checks were successful. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It was a good price but I do wish the screen didn't have that light scratch right in the middle of the screen.
Walmart makes it so easy to buy a mobile phone. There are so many phones to choose from. If you want a new phone or a refurbished phone to save even more money, Walmart has you covered. I like the new phones myself but the choices are yours. Plus, Walmart has so many accessories to go with your phones. New battery, a new case, even a protected screen, Walmart can even walk you through setting up your phone at the store. Just remember to bring your old phone with all the passwords you made. It will go so much smoother. Bring a notepad and a good pen and write down everything, like your new ID: updated address, and else to make its much easier to transfer your number over. Also, do not cancel your old phone just yet. If you are starting from scratch and you’re getting ... MoreWalmart makes it so easy to buy a mobile phone. There are so many phones to choose from. I love this iPhone! It is so great. The camera is a lot better than my old Samsung Galaxy. The storage is amazing, especially if you pay a dollar a month for more iCloud storage. It is such a good size and fits in my pocket. Some phones are too big for that these days. The only big problem is the the battery life. The battery drains really quickly. I don't constantly use my phone and at most am on it three hours a day, at most!! Most days though I use it for two hours in total and it lasts throughout the day to text and occasionally play a game or two, then I plug it in when I go to bed. It charges pretty quickly, which is good.If you use your phone a lot and still want this one, I recommend getting an Apple Watch. The price is good and it is smooth, a good transition to Apple products. Easy to use.
I dropped my iphone 6s and cracked the screen and was having touch issues. I imagined my battery was insufficient to handle my growing need for more complex apps so I decided on this one. It looks exactly like the 6s and if I didn't see that it had 64gig instead of 32gig I would not notice a difference. The battery may be marginally better but not notably. The speed is pretty much the same and the range of brightness is exactly the same. The size is exactly the same. Touch id exactly the same. Where I was really disappointed is they now charge me for incoming calls and they did not before. I guess they used the change in phones as an excuse to up the ante. Combine this with the two days spent with unintelligible techies in trying to get the new phone activated and ... MoreI dropped my iphone 6s and cracked the screen and was having touch issues. Let me start with telling you that I’m a long time Simple Mobile customer. I ordered this phone as upgrade to my old IPhone. The phone is locked to simple mobile and came with their sim card. After they transferred my phone number to this whole device and sim the phone kept saying that it needs to be activated. After I spoke to Apple they told me that the issue is with the carrier, not the phone. I called and spoke to 10 different people from Simple Mobile and no one is willing to help. What I was left to understand is that I will have to pay for services for 2 months and wait till this phone gets unlocked, before I can use it as a phone or get any messages on it. Meanwhile I’m still to pay for the service I can’t use. To make it even worst they told me that they ... MoreLet me start with telling you that I’m a long time Simple Mobile customer. So now I’m left to wait 2 months without service, before I get to see if this will work or not. At which point it will be too late for me to return this phone back to Walmart. I actually can’t do that because my phone is locked to the sim card i will have to return.
The phone came on time and packaged in a box that well protected the phone. The phone came with a charger; cord and “block”. The phone also came with a free SIM card for Ting Mobile. The phone has very minimal damage as far as scratches or other defects. There’s a couple scratches, minor, on the screen, but other than that, the phone itself is in great shape. There is NO SIM push pin to use to put a SIM card into the phone. I had one so I was ok with this issue. The charger that was sent, kept flipping a breaker in my electrical box, and now (day 1) the charger does not work any longer. The battery life of the phone is “significantly degraded and in need of repair or replacement”. The battery maximum charging strength is only 78%. I’m going to have to have the battery replaced by a local repair store or an Apple Store or return the phone. Would I buy a refurbished phone again? I will be very hesitant.
only cons is about 4 hairline cracks on the screen. The longest is about an inch from the very top middle down to about 1/5 of the screen. This is the only noticeable crack when I start to use the phone. But you get what you paid for.Shipping thru Fedex so I received in 3 days. It come with a smartphone box that looks cheap but the phone is pretty new. The back is spotless, tiny dins at top right side. Software 15.6.1 seems the latest. I compared it with my old iPhone 6. Size exactly the same but this SE is heavier. Back Camera 12 MP is pretty clear. The one review that says the Home button didn't work probably expect it like the iPhone 6. But it's different. The Home button can't be press down. You'll hear the click when you touch on it. I haven't tried my SIM ... Moreonly cons is about 4 hairline cracks on the screen. The connection lines are not Apple's but look in good condition. My friend bought the brand new one from Apple and it's about $500. For less than half the price, I'm pretty pleased with this purchase.
