Got this to replace my aging 1st generation SE that I purchased 5 years ago. Really pleased with the purchase, and refurbished saved lost of $$$ over new. Battery life is better on the new SE, screen is a fraction bigger but same small footprint. The phone is plenty fast with the new A15 chip. Its rated for 5G but where I live that service is spotty at best. Only got the 64GB version, but I don't use my phone for taking lots of photos or videos and I don't down load games or other memory hogs. Plus 64GB is double what my old SE had and I still had about 10GB open on that, so don't think that will be a problem. All in all really please with my purchase. But the SE is not for everyone, esp. someone who needs a phone to take lots of pictures, watches a lot of Netflix ... MoreGot this to replace my aging 1st generation SE that I purchased 5 years ago. I basically need a phone for texting and making phone calls and occasionally searching something on the web.

As someone who has never used a smart phone until now, I would say this is a fairly good one. It depends on what your needs are. I just wanted a phone that is easy enough to learn to use. (My old flip phone was actually fine. I just had to change it because the cell phone carriers were phasing out the 3G phones so my flip phone would no longer work by March 2022. I didn't get another flip phone because the ones that were available didn't have much to offer and were worse than my flip phone. So basically I was "forced" into getting a smart phone.) The iPhone SE seemed the easiest to use because of the home button. It was also smaller and more lightweight than the regular smart phones. I won't give it 5 stars because comparing to my old flip phones the battery doesn't ... MoreAs someone who has never used a smart phone until now, I would say this is a fairly good one. The iPhone SE seemed the easiest to use because of the home button. It was also smaller and more lightweight than the regular smart phones. I won't give it 5 stars because comparing to my old flip phones the battery doesn't last anywhere near as long. It also doesn't come with the charging adapter, just the cable, so you have to buy the charger separately. It is very cheap of Apple to make their phones like this. It doesn't come with instructions either (another cheap move) so you will spend time googling stuff online if you have any questions about it. I am not tech savvy at all so I did a lot of that the first 2 weeks. If you just want to talk, text, and take an occasional photo, this phone is okay for that. I found the video to be poor quality when uploading it to a computer but maybe I just can't figure out the right setting for it. That's why I wish it came with detailed instructions. The iPhone SE is pretty good for a first smart phone and more affordable than the regular iPhone so I'll give it that. But it is not for everyone. My parents for example could never figure this out and would have to settle for what ever flip phone is available these days. I would actually give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.

I had to upgrade my phone from 3G as trac was phasing it out. So I looked around and I chose the SE 64 GB in the iPhones. I would recommend this phone the most. As it has a lot of features and space that the newer models don't it seems they've taken out features with each upgrade. It has a clear signal and takes great pictures, and holds A LOT of pictures or apps/games My screen is full of apps yet I'm not even halfway to my storage limit. The battery life is fair when I have it on all day. I keep it with me in my pocket at work and have my health monitor on as well as the internet and can still have more than half of the battery life by the end of the day. The battery life is longer if I don't have anything open.It recharges quickly as well. If you are looking ... MoreI had to upgrade my phone from 3G as trac was phasing it out. Walmart makes it so easy to buy a mobile phone. There are so many phones to choose from. If you want a new phone or a refurbished phone to save even more money, Walmart has you covered. I like the new phones myself but the choices are yours. Plus, Walmart has so many accessories to go with your phones. New battery, a new case, even a protected screen, Walmart can even walk you through setting up your phone at the store. Just remember to bring your old phone with all the passwords you made. It will go so much smoother. Bring a notepad and a good pen and write down everything, like your new ID: updated address, and else to make its much easier to transfer your number over. Also, do not cancel your old phone just yet. If you are starting from scratch and you’re getting ... MoreWalmart makes it so easy to buy a mobile phone. There are so many phones to choose from. I wasn’t really sure about getting a refurbed phone but budget wise made the most sense for. I am really happy with my purchase. I selected excellent condition and it looks and works as new. One of my biggest concerns was getting a battery which was already considerably worn but when I checked the battery health it was at 93%. Super happy with that. All the extra gifts that came with the phone such as case, cable and pop holder were a great touch too. The only issue I had was that I paid I think $20 for expedited shipping and due to a mistake with my address I experienced a delay so my phone arrived when it probably would have without the extra shipping charge. Bit of a bummer but is what it is. Overall definitely recommend Plug, their refurbed gear seems to have a ... MoreI wasn’t really sure about getting a refurbed phone but budget wise made the most sense for. I love this iPhone! It is so great. The camera is a lot better than my old Samsung Galaxy. The storage is amazing, especially if you pay a dollar a month for more iCloud storage. It is such a good size and fits in my pocket. Some phones are too big for that these days. The only big problem is the the battery life. The battery drains really quickly. I don't constantly use my phone and at most am on it three hours a day, at most!! Most days though I use it for two hours in total and it lasts throughout the day to text and occasionally play a game or two, then I plug it in when I go to bed. It charges pretty quickly, which is good.If you use your phone a lot and still want this one, I recommend getting an Apple Watch. The price is good and it is smooth, a good transition to Apple products. Easy to use.
(I bought this in 2022 at the announcement of iPhone se 3 bc I knew I could get a sale and I knew se 2 wouldn’t have end of life date for quite a while!)Pros:1. Speed of App Opening2. Touch Feedback / Typing3. Connectivity to Cricket in my region and Ease of Connection to Wi-Fi4. Multi Tasking — Love the chip! Was worried about ram but it seems sufficient for some light gaming and the 4-6 apps I might have running at a time.5. Sound Quality, surprisingly6. I just like how apples “feel” compared with Nokias, Motorolas, Google Pixels, etc.7. Visuals are good enough despite a small screen. Don’t buy if you need larger fonts though, even with accessibility features this phone won’t work for you.8. Better durability than many phones I’ve had!9. Camera— Sufficient for a device like this though3. I’m still bitter that all companies ditched the headphone jack… not Apple specificWonderful phone, especially for $200. Very grateful.
