Apple cable is good quality and offers a reliable connection which is critical as some 3rd party cables are not compatible and do not offer consistent and reliable charging - have tried several over the years. The extra 1m length is useful for travel when accessing charge ports requires more length for shared facilities - airports is a good example. It is great for travel. Very happy with the purchase and always privilege JB HiFi for good service, product availability and great customer service, not forgetting competitive pricing. Should mention in store availability as this is important to me.

TARGET PLEASE TAKE THESE CHARGERS OUT OF YOUR STORE! THEY ARE NOT THE REAL APPLE CHARGERS. BOUGHT THE Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable (2 m) 01/13/2024, got home and placed my phone on the charger. Only to realize that my phone was taking quite a long time to come on. Switched to another charger i had and the phone immediately came on. I then went into my room to examine the charger and noticed that either they put the wrong cord in the box, or someone returned their old charger and got the $40 bucks back. Either way DO NOT BUY. I will be returning within the next couple of days!!

Of course, 3 ft. is too short for comfort - but I needed a C-to-C cable ASAP, and it was the only length available. What I didn’t expect and was very pleased with is the snug fit of the connector to the charging port. It doesn’t jiggle around loosely and fall out with the slightest bump. In fact, I called the local AT%26T (my carrier) store to see if they had C-to-C cables. They did; 6-foot length which I would have preferred . . . BUT NOT AT 5X THE COST! Are they nuts? On top of that outrage, AT%26T’s cables are the ones that I’ve had chronic problems with over the years in terms of fitting into the charging port! What a relief to find a good, inexpensive one at Walmart. *whew!*
