I absolutely love my MacBook! It has been my favorite laptop that I have ever had. It run really well and I am able to work on multiple things at the same time. It is also really nice that I am able to connect my phone to my laptop and share the information across platforms without a middle man. As a Software Engineer, I love coding on my mac book and it is really easy to run virtual machines or to switch between them if necessary.

2009 MacBook Pro to a 2019 MacBook Pro

My family had the MacBook Pro since around 2009 2010 and it was finally time for an upgrade. When I say upgrade I mean New lol. We couldn't do our homework, apply to jobs, watch youtube, or even check our emails. I'm gonna be honest since I bought the latest model, there isn't much of a difference to my old one. I like that these newer laptops are lighter in weight. Some new things I noticed are the new clear screen, Siri, Touch Bar, new different usb slots, the keyboard clicking sound, like only a couple of new updates since the 2009 2010 model. Also there's no disc slot so I guess CDs are history lol. Not complaining but i thought I just point out those details for other people. The thing with Apple is that they make long lasting laptops. Almost perfect

Purchased a used Macbook Pro with a German keyboard - price was great, delivery was great, item was well packed. Laptop looks new - no scratches or signs of wear. Operating well. One concern (and the reason for a star deduction) is that the back of the case is a bit loose. It appears like the back was removed and the screws were not tightened all the way down - or at least that is what I hope the issue is. (Could also be the wrong screws or something bulging on the inside.) I don't have the proper screwdriver (P5 I think) to investigate right now - but I am optimistically going with the tightening oversight theory. Overall - very pleased.

Needed a boost from the MacBook Air

Indeed, is the answer to transitioning to this over from a Air. Perhaps you have a different experience but since I’ve recently received this MacBook. I have now both Air and Pro but this MacBook gets really hot and I am only doing the same things side to side from my air and seems to get to hot while my Air stays cool. I needed this for school so I could work on my photography and now I’ve seem to have to use the Air more because I’m afraid that the Pro heats up and I don’t not want to chance any mechanical failures and for just about 1800 dollars and that’s getting one that’s opened box, certified And looks New only came missing was that actual box. Stay away, the M1 Macs are way better

I purchased this MacBook in 3/2020. I needed a computer that could better handle photoshop and Lightroom. My previous computer was a MacBook pro, but it was getting old so it was time to upgrade. This intel mac was pretty disappointing. The battery never lasted more than a couple hours, even with light web browsing use. The computer was slow (albeit faster than my previous computer) for the photo editing I wanted to use it for.I recently traded it in for a MacBook Air M1, and my new MacBook Air M1 blows this intel based mac out of the water. Upgrade from a 2012 MacBook Pro

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro and have loved it for my education purposes. It is still going strong today. I started experiencing slower processing speeds and shorter times between battery charges. I didn’t investigate the slower processing issue very far because, being a 3rd year professional student, I wanted to upgrade to a newer model anyway. It is still a great devise though. Upgrading from my 2012 model to this 2019 model has been the best decision I could have made. This version is super fast and the added Touch Bar with print ID is amazing! The 2019 model has all my favorite features from my older model plus many new ones. It is much thinner, lighter weight and the space gray color is awesome. I have had my new MacBook Pro for a little over 2 weeks now and am still amazed at how quickly I can move between tasks. The only one possible negative I can come up with is that the charging cord length is quite a bit shorter than my old one, since this one didn’t come with an extension. So far it has not been an issue for me though. I am beyond pleased with my purchase through Best Buy and highly recommend this computer for students. The MacBook Pro definitely has a higher price tag than other brand laptops, but it is worth every bit of its price in quality, features, ease of use, dependability and long life. If you’re like me, and use other Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, AppleTV) also, it makes life easier being able to keep all your files and data in sync across multiple devices. I can start a word document on my laptop in class, and continue it on my phone while I’m waiting in line to pick my kids up at school. I can start watching a movie at home, and finish it on my lunch break at school. I can’t imagine a better set up for keeping my busy life organized and easily accessible from anywhere I happen to be.
