In the past, I've generally steered clear of the Apple Magic Keyboards due to the price, and the usability of the keyboard over a standalone Bluetooth keyboard, such as the Apple Bluetooth keyboard I owned, but not this time. This new keyboard is a work of art, with its solid aluminium keyboard top and well thought out iPad mount. The larger mousepad and the inclusion of the extra function keys has transformed the usability to one that almost matches any Apple laptop... it's not yet a replacement for a laptop but it's close. I am truly happy I bought this this time around and can highly recommend this if you have bought the 11" iPad Pro M4... I am writing this review on it right now!

Having invested in an iPad Air a mere two years ago I was aghast at my own rashness in swapping it for this new iPad Pro. Was it worth the expense? However, it's proved to have been an excellent decision after all. For speed, features and stunning screen appearance it puts everything remotely comparable firmly into the shade. The iPad itself is thin and light to handle, though with the addition of the magic keyboard it does become a much heavier object, in effect a mini-laptop. The Apple Pencil Pro is a useful addition not only for the naturally creative but it does enable one to minimise those finger marks on the screen. In sum, highly recommended!

I bought the keyboard with high hopes of liking it and it some ways I did. Apple added a row of function keys which is great. I ended up returning it for the following reasons. I saw some YouTube videos where the keyboard scratched the screen. I guess you could put a screen protector on but I never have and wasnāt going to. The hinged is shorter than the last model which makes it hard to attach the charging cable but thatās not a real big deal. The hing being shorter lends the keyboard to be less stable. When touching the iPad when on the keyboard the iPad falls backwards. I wanted the keyboard but I donāt really need it for what I do but would have kept it if not for these drawbacks, it very expensive not to be totally happy. I will look at some other options.
I have had this thing for 15 minutes and already love it. So I thought I would use it to write a review. I use my iPad a lot for personal use. Typing on it has always been cumbersome. The keyboard is very functional and you can use various keys to switch between apps and use other functions on the iPad. Total fan. Also a shoutout to open box by Best Buy. I went the open box and saved a decent amount and the keyboard I got looks / works just like new. Keep up the great work Best Buy.
