I just bought a new Mac mini after owning a Apple MacBook Pro. I suddenly realised that I would not have a fingerprint scanner which makes my life so much easier. I did not want to enter every password on every site manually so I was delighted that I could buy an Apple keyboard with a fingerprint scanner. The keyboard was easy to set-up with the Mac mini. I use a lot editing software so I wanted a full keyboard. The keyboard feels good, with good travel on the keys. I did not like the keyboard on my MacBook Pro and I used to use a Kanex keyboard with that, but that keyboard did not have a scanner.Very happy with the purchase

Very happy with this magic keyboard. Using it with my Apple M1 Mac mini.Fingerprint reader works super-well. How did we live without this before?Keys have a short travel, but I like it.And it charges up using lightning port. Only needs charging around once a month.Only real downside is the price.

This is an expensive, but high-quality keyboard. It's relatively quiet, feels great, and the TouchID key means I don't have to use the laptop's TouchID.

Another great Apple product, the thing that I like about Apple is that you know you're getting quality. Is it the best keyboard ever? Perhaps not. Does it do everything it says on the box? It sure does. Typing is easy, there is just the right amount of travel (press) on the keys, and there is just enough of a typing noise. Not too loud, and not rubbery silent. The addition of the Touch ID key to bring my Mac Studio out of sleep without having to enter a password is brilliant. Also great for fingerprint securing certain programs, and of course being able to use Apple Pay on the Mac is wonderful. The keyboard itself is flat enough that I don't feel like I need a wrist support other than the desk, as I'm not having to angle my hands up too much. The only thing I wish ... MoreAnother great Apple product, the thing that I like about Apple is that you know you're getting quality. Is it the best keyboard ever? Perhaps not. The only thing I wish it had was backlighting, but this would probably destroy the battery life, so it's a trade-off.
