To first begin with the packaging there were sticky fingerprints on it as if it wasn’t new. I also ran into problems when connecting my Apple Pencil to it. It’s not worth the hassle so I decided to just upgrade to the air. And lastly the screen kept freezing within the fist 2 hours of me unboxing the iPad. The iPad just didn’t seem new and I was super excited to unbox it and use it. I advise everyone reading this if you do have the extra money to buy an air, you should just go for that. It’s worth it!

Had this new iPad for just over month. It locked up three times. Returned to store three times. Geek Squad unlocked 1st time. I was able to unlock 2nd/3rd time. Checked on internet for instructions ( to unlock ) and tech info. This model does have some issues. Finally, decided (3rd trip) it wasn't worth the trouble & cost to me. I live 1 1/2 hours away from store. I finally returned this iPad & ordered a newer larger one. The ' one ' sales person I worked with the most was very knowledgeable and most helpful. He is an outstanding employee, Bristol TN Store.

I have a wifi 256g brand new unit that i use just for TZ iBoat maps and the GPS tracking at no wake speed does not function. You must be traveling at least 8-10 mph to get a signal and movement on the map. I have also tried another marine app, Navionics and the problem persists. I have also exchanged the device for a warranty replacement, no improvement. I have contacted both app developers, verizon, and apple, no resolution. If you rely on furuno apps, only available on ios, dont upgrade to this ipad, complete junk.
So far the ipad has worked out great. I wanted the larger storage capacity, unfortunately it was all sold out until after christmas, but 64 gb should be plenty since it will serve as an internet surfing / streaming / FaceTime device. The device is surprisingly light weight, the blue color looks great, and the center positioned camera is a nice touch. This ipad uses usbc as its connector, which everyone says is so much better, but i dont have very many of those cables and my plugs are mostly usba so I guess i have to upgrade everything else now…
I walked in with a problem transferring data from my old iPad to the new one I purchased. No appointment. I was immediately helped, no hesitation as a walk in. I explained what I was there for and he began looking through settings etc. Less than 10 minutes later he was done and the iPad was working with all items installed and available! He was my hero for the day and as usual, a definite professional asset to your team. He always treats me this way and he deserves a raise or promotion due to his professionalism, ability to find resolutions, explain things. His patience is super intact as well. I bought my first generation iPad at BestBuy at have enjoyed using every one I’ve had. My last iPad was a seventh gen and have used it daily. After 3 years it was time to update again. It was a hard decision on which to buy the iPad 10 or the Air 5, but my wife pointed out that I had to stay in my budget so the 10 won. It’s great. I still have my MacBook Pro so I really don’t need the power of the M1 chip. It is quick, bigger and bright. The only short coming is that t only has 64 gigs of storage. All in Al it is a great buy.
Just your basic iPad. Works as it should, nice design and great screen. Used mostly to watch shows and the kids use it to play games. Sure you can go gen 9 and save some $$ for similar internals. This iteration has the pro design, square edges, slightly larger screen etc without the pro price tag. Just the basics. If you need pro or air then go pro or air. This is the tablet for cozy on the couch.

It wound up shutting itself down and would not even allow Geek squad to reset it to factory settings. Geek Squad and Best Buy were able to get me a replacement about a week later. The second tablet is a great tablet too. It set-up just fine. I haven't figured out where the apps downloaded to, yet. The notification they have downloaded successfully was good to know. I'll have to get someone to help find the three programs though. Their icons cannot be found on any "page's" screen. It's otherwise a great tablet. I'll find someone to help me find either the "APPS" or the reasons why I cannot find "successfully downloaded" apps. No protective ... MoreIt looks like a great tablet. My son wanted me to get this iPad because he has one as well, told me it works better than my old phone. I seen how expensive it was but he payed me back for the first $18 to see if I liked it, I don’t make that much. But this iPad has an outstanding performance. After using this iPad I realized it was worth getting the plan for it. I bought the $18.05/m plan because 64gb is enough to do a lot in my opinion. The RAM is great on this device as well. If you’re thinking about purchasing this iPad, I recommend it to everyone.
