I know it’s the 7 series cellular starlight one, but I’m not sure about the GPS… I’m assuming my watch has that as well, since I think it comes with that if it has cellular…? Idunno. This watch is perfect. I love all the features. I have only important notifications come through my watch so I don't get bothered by an update telling me that someone scored a goal during a game but can still see it on my phone when I look there. It also helps with service gaps at home; I can keep my phone where I get good service and still get a phone call/texts in the basement! All the health features are amazing too. Glad I went with this model over the SE or an older one. It was nice to have the oxygen sensor when I got covid. Very convenient. It's also really durable. I've banged it really hard a couple of times as I was walking past a pillar that sticks out a bit when I was getting used to wearing the watch (hard enough that I had to wear it on the other wrist ... MoreThis watch is perfect. I've banged it really hard a couple of times as I was walking past a pillar that sticks out a bit when I was getting used to wearing the watch (hard enough that I had to wear it on the other wrist for a few weeks and thought I might have a compression fracture where the watch hit me); it scratched the stainless a little bit but it never impacted functionality and the screen is without a scratch a year later. I found the band it came with to be pretty awful (starlight sports band). It's a cream color which I don't think looks that great with the stainless case. The holes were not in the right spots for a good fit for me. It was always either too loose or made my skin red and itchy. Band swap out is easy though! I didn't get it for the band but which it came with a different one to start. Also, going with a stainless steel case means that it can be dressed up easily; it never looks too casual with a nice band! I was a little worried about the extra weight of the case over the aluminum cases but found that it sits nicely against the wrist and I've never found it heavy or slipping to one side or anything like that.

Almost perfect .. almost

This is my first Apple watch. I had always worn a Tag Link automatic more as decoration than for function. I lost it and that breaks my heart but I didn't see going back to that when the Apple Watch runs rings around any other smart watch. I have been truly amazed at how functional and actually helpful this watch is. Mine is WiFi connected to my phone but the functions will work on any WiFi. While the programming, screen size and clarity, ease of use, brightness of display, on and one are all amazing, the watch does have some drawbacks. The band is truly sad. For anyone used to wearing a heavy, finely crafted, stainless, band this this rubber thing is an abomination .. not to mention not secure. Now the big drawback .. battery life. This watch really can't go a day without charging. Yet, they want you to wear it all the time to track every aspect of your life including sleep. When do you charge. It takes 45 min to fully charge. One would hope to go several days between charges.

After I was able to merge my phone and got the watch set-up I was pretty happy with the features as this is my first smart watch. I wish it allowed more apps to merge from your phone to the watch to view notifications. For how high the price was in this, it should have included the wall port and better battery life and of course it had to have a different usb type to work. With the amount of notifications I get, I need to charge every night/24 hrs. As this is Series 7 I was expecting a lot. So it’s kind of useless. I bought it to help keep track of workouts/walking. And it does that just fine. So - while I am a fan of this watch and wear it every day. I think that Apple needs to spend more time improving its battery life when it advertises so many different features, especially a sleep tracker.

After its initial setup, i kept it on for 2 days 1 night and was surprised to find I still had enough battery (30%) to sleep with it on for another day of night tracking Personally, the watch feels like just a extension of the iPhone. Customization is readily available. From the App Store for faces to what Apple offers, each watch face is highly customizable to allow for quick shortcuts or information one may want to see at a glance. If you wish to extend your library of watch faces, the App Store has plenty (albeit paid) apps that you can utilize to your liking. My one con is that I can’t get the watch to Auto Unlock my device much like my Android phone would do with my Android Wear watch. When my phone is on the table, im still forced to pick up my device or enter my passcode which I find annoying. While I love quick charger, I hate the watch doesnt just work with other qi chargers which forces me to pack the puck when I travel. Most ppl don’t need the series 8 as its essentially the series 7 with two features most wont find a necessary. For Apple users, i can’t recommend this watch enough and look forward to see what other neat features Apple will add in the future

I bought this watch because the price was great. It was an open box product with the manufacturers one year warranty still intact. It has worked fine right out of the box with no problems, and it came with everything it was supposed to come with. The only thing I didnt know before I bought it is that an Apple Watch can come with GPS or Cellular and this one is GPS. That explains the great price as Cellular would have doubled it and I wouldnt want to pay for a second line which is required to use a Cellular watch as a phone. I also love the color of this watch and band, and I love the Breathe face option. The color is Abyss Blue which you cant see well in these photos but its beautiful. The hands on the black face are artful in the Breathe face option which is my favorite though it comes with lots of face options. The watch band is also so comfortable I barely feel it. Its a pleasure wearing, looking at and usingthis watch.
