This filter is almost silent and has really good flow. Priming is ok with the button. Have it running a 240l tank no issues. Large media containers but only 2. However they have a large capacity. I added extra bio media in the lower and carbon in the upper. Water does spill when opened. Don't forget to close the taps. But you won't need to open it often.

The aquis 1050 is my first canister filter but I've got a larger fish tanks will be buying the next size up soon ..

easy to start with built-in siphon pumps easy, fill the intake water pipe first and then pump away. has good water flow you may have to adjust the inlet tap and adjust later when the flow slows down have the larger one in one room and only check the filter about 6 month's nice and quiet very easy to clean filters and i also rod out the pipes and its as though it is a new filter again
