Aquatabs are super easy to use, incredibly potent for their size, and have literally saved my life when I've run out of water on a hiking trail and needed to rely on gathering water from stagnant rock pools. Some water purifiers leave a really nasty disinfectant taste in your mouth, but Aquatabs are very mild (you'll notice a minor taste difference, but it's not extreme at all). Given they also weigh virtually nothing, it's easy to pack a supply to last several days without needing to worry about the additional grams you're adding to a hiking pack. I also keep them at home for the rare occasions that we get notes about needing to treat the municipal water supply, and the peace of mind is worth the low price alone.

Water was down for a couple days and we were drinking water out of the creek cause we live pretty far out of town, these water purification tablets worked great along with boiling. I 100% recommend these to everyone even if it's just to keep them around for emergencies.

These tabs have clear instructions and can be easily divided into smaller amounts depending on how many you might need. Haven’t yet tasted the finished product so can’t comment on that.
