A GOOD, SOLID AND SOMEWHAT CLASSIC EVERYDAY FRAGRANCE FOR MEN.

Aramis was rather popular back in the 1980s. So it is somewhat of a classic. It has a warm, spicey, incense like, somewhat Frankincense & Myrrh type scent. The aroma is very masculine. It is not terribly expensive or at least it shouldn't be. I never pay more than $40.00 for a bottle. And while it doesn't last as long as some other more expensive colognes it does have staying power as the fragrance does endure for more than a few hours. If you're going out it will last you for most of, if not the whole night. And I do get regular compliments on it. Aramis is a fine go-to or everyday cologne for men. All in all a good, solid fragrance value.

Im not old 70s80s kid but even I was late to the party when recommended this in 1987.ARAMIS have more recently moved on and left TUSCANNY behind. Dont know why, some sage reviewer will eventually tell us.However if you dont have any prior prejudice or brand snobbery, I would wager that this remains one of the most sophisticated male perfumes around.Heavy with sandlewood oil, it evokes the definition of aroma without the flowered stink that modern franchised brands are known for. Indicating that the products are 2 Years and 8 Months old at the time of purchase.This product was compared against a 120ml4.1oz After Shave from the newer Blockbuster set EdT, Aftershave, Aftershave Balm, Body Shampoo, Deoderant Stick purchased from a reputable bricks and mortar perfume shop 012017. The Date Code on this 120ml is A86 which indicates 082016. There is no difference in colour, smell or lasting. Its the same product. If the Blockbuster set is genuine, then so is this product from Perfumes of London at a very reasonable price 20.97.Note The old Blockbuster set included soap on a rope was being significantly reduced, approx 13 off, at a well known UKwide high street pharmacy chain. It would make perfect sense that older stock is simply reduced in price.There are plenty of reviews and opinions on what people think it smells like, so I wont add mine.This product does smell different on different people. Its advisable to sample a fragrance before purchasing, and to also leave the fragrance to develop throughout the day, as the initial smell can be quite different to what remains after even 30 minutes.Compared to the Eau de Toilette, the After Shave is softer in scent and doesnt last as long. However the Aftershave is meant to be used after shaving, on skin made more sensitive. The ingredients list is the same as EdT except missing in the After Shave is Benzyl Salicylate, Farnesol, Benzyl Alcohol and AlphaIsomethyl Ionone.

Aramis is an old time favourite of mine and at this price, exceptionally good value.

Got to be careful when buying perfumes online, too many fakes products out there that can cause skin damage and burns. I was sceptical about buying from this site at such a good price, but I needn’t have worried. The product was genuine and smelled exactly as it should. I will be using this site again.
