The vibrant deck features 80 intricately designed cards, representing ten different colors, each showcasing a unique species of tree. Each color contains numbered cards from 1 to 8, with the number of colors in play determined by the number of participants. At the game’s start, each player receives a hand of seven cards. On your turn, you will draw two cards—either from the deck or the discard piles—lay a card to enhance your arboretum, and then strategically discard another to your personal pile. As the game progresses and the deck runs out, tension builds as players reveal their remaining cards. Scoring is determined by evaluating which player holds the highest value of cards for each color. Players can score for paths of trees in their arboretum that begin and end with the same color, creating an orthogonally adjacent chain of increasing values. Each card in a scoring path earns one point, while a path constructed entirely of that color grants two points per card! If your hand doesn’t hold the highest value for a particular color, you’ll score zero points for that path.
