I’m a 20+ year user of Arc’teryx jackets. For skiing, sailing, climbing and bike packing I’ll never use anything else. Reliable and Arc’teryx honors there pledge of looking after their customers if anything goes wrong. Thank you for my replacement jacket after my other one served me 18 hard years.

Bought it for work actually…needed wind and water protection while doing my gig…originally got a size too large (XL vs L) returned and repurchased all within 5 Biz days? So smooth. Thanks all.

8 hours paddling in Yukon during a torrential downpour. At the end of the day I was the only person with dry clothes.I was wearing a hat and easily rolled the hood inside to prevent pooling. The large side pockets are easily accessible to the point I could access them without taking off my PFD. Cuffs closed easily and prevented any rain from going into my sleeves. Barely sweat despite working to paddle, wearing my PFD, and 20 degree temperature. Literally shook it dry after the fact. Best rain jacket I've ever owned.

I was very hesitant to spend 500 dollars on a rain jacket, however I was very pleasantly surprised with this purchase. This jacket fits very well and is versatile. I am 6'1" 150lbs so I'm relatively slim, but this jacket fits if you feel chilly and decide to wear a big bulky hoodie. The waterproofing is perfect as advertised, and I'm looking forward to giving it more use when I'm on the pacific coast. Since purchasing, I put the exclusive grand opening iron on patch to the right shoulder, which looks pretty badass in my opinion. 10/10 would recommend for those interested
This is not a review about the jacket - I've owned it for 7 years (I guess it was called Beta SL Hybrid Jacket then), and it was the best jacket I've ever owned.I contacted the support team because I noticed that the seams were starting delaminate, which after 7 years of use, I was not surprised about. I just wanted to know how to repair them myself, or if they'd repair it for me. Instead, they sent me a gift card to cover the entire amount (tax, shipping) for me to purchase a brand new Beta Jacket. I was shocked that Arc'Teryx is willing to stand behind their product after 7 years of usage! Their products are a bit expensive - I think we all know that - but after this experience, why would I consider any other brand? THANK YOU!
The Beta ePE Jacket is great value. The increased 80D face fabric makes the jacket feel much more durable than the prior version. I find that the weight of this jacket is a perfect balance of not being too heavy, but not too light. A great option for those who want just a simple city rain shell with all-mountain capabilities. Sometimes I find the sound level from the jacket rubbing against itself when walking to be louder than normal, but it is definitely manageable!
The Beta Jacket is honestly worth the price. Is it light as heck, sheds water really well, very breathable, and packs down really small in my pack. Expensive, but worth it. Buy once, cry once!
Not much to say about fabrics and waterproofing. After checking a lot of information, it is said that the new beta jacket has been upgraded for 80 days, which is more wear-resistant, and a search and rescue locator has been added. I feel that the new model is worth entering. In terms of workmanship, this one of mine is made in Canada. The bird logo embroidery is full and the glue is neatly pressed inside. Personally, except for the long sleeves, other sizes are very suitable. First of all, the length of the clothes is just right, and the back can be covered to the middle and lower position of the buttocks. The hem is very good whether it is worn normally or tightened. Secondly, the bust is also suitable. It's just right to wear thick fleece inside. atom heavyw can zip up and it won't be very crowded. cerium down will not work. If there is a need to add down inside, it is recommended to buy a bigger size.

BETA is the most classic and best-selling series of Archaeopteryx. JACKET can be regarded as the basic entry model in BETA. It adopts three-layer N30p Gore- tex waterproof breathable membrane and incorporates gore-knit lining technology. The overall feel is softer, with low noise and good air permeability, but the wear resistance and scratch resistance are weak. There is no underarm breathable zipper, which is more suitable for hiking, hiking, commuting and other environments. It can be used as an outer layer protection and is very handsome to match.
