I have been using this jacket in replacement of my old Beta SL Hybrid. It is a welcome change: it is a roomier fit (allowing for more layers underneath when needed), it's a flattering long silhouette and it is lightweight and soft (hardly notice that I am wearing a shell).I did not size down from my normal size, but I also prefer the looser fit to allow for layering.

Usually wear a size medium in Arc’teryx jackets. Very large and boxy fit. Returned it and tried the size small which fit smaller but the sleeves were too short. I don’t care for the new fit myself. I prefer a more feminine tailored look.

I loved this jacket, at first. Unfortunately after only 1-2 years it's no longer waterproof at all. Started soaking through only a year after buying it and now it's pretty useless. I'm disappointed because it's a nice fit and style but low quality.
I was hoping that my issue was a rare occurrence but sadly, I am seeing that it is not. I purchased this jacket about 2 years ago and for what I paid, there should be no reason the waterproofing doesn't hold up. But it does not. Not even in a longer duration lighter rainfall, the material soaks through in several areas of the coat. Highly disappointed. I have always bought Marmot rain jackets, mainly due to their amazing lifetime return policy. I hope Arc'teryx offers similar for the poor quality of this product.
