I own 4 Cerium jackets from past years.Every one of them had a stitched logo at the chest. Loved it. It set the jacket apart. Now there is no more logo at the chest. They moved it to the sleeve cuff. WHY??I like my chest logo, especially when I pay 450$ for my jacket.Sizing is the same as before. I'm 5 foot 2, 110lbs, straight up and down and flat chested. I took S.

I love this jacket. If most button down shirts are too tight in the shoulders, you’ll also love this jacket. The sleeves are longer than most jackets which is a plus in my opinion. I do believe it is true to size. I‘m 5’6” between 140-150 lbs, athletic build and ordered a medium. The waist length fits just below my hip bones. I think it’s the perfect fit for a puffy jacket being fitted, but not too tight. I haven’t worn this yet for winter activities, but it’s great to throw on quickly to walk the dog or stay warm. If you have a larger chest (bigger C or D cup), this jacket would be tight to zip up and I would suggest sizing up.

I purchased this jacket in anticipation of winter coming and I timed it just right. The temperatures in the last couple weeks have dropped into the 30s and I've been slipping my Cerium on every day. I love the fact that it weighs mere ounces and it packs down to a small footprint when I'm not using it. The down power provides all the warmth that I need and the face of the jacket feels quite robust. Altogether I'm quite happy with my purchase and I look forward to years of use.

Light, fitted design and packable
6 May 2020

I purchased the bright coral/orange colour. I know some of the darker feathers can be seen through the fabric prior to purchasing, so I was not surprised when the item actually arrived. The jacket itself is as advertised- light, warm and packable. I have worn it with a Gore-Tex jacket and a thin long sleeve top in -15C weather with no issues. Will recommend if you are looking for a quality light down jacket.I ordered xs, and it fits nicely without being too tight/ loose. For reference, I am 5,7" and 130lb.

Lovely jacket, but too big in waist
23 November 2018

I was really looking forward to receiving this jacket. I am a huge fan of Arc'Teryx. Love their styling and colors, and their service is, for the most part, pretty great. I consistently wear the same size (SM) in all their clothing, so I was surprised with the fit of this jacket. Most of their jackets are flattering to the female figure, however this one was not. Way too roomy in the waist. I considered trying an X-SM, but the chest would have been too tight. Sadly, I'll have to send this back. Will wait to see if there are any new additions next season.

Packable, lightweight, but very delicate
29 April 2019

I've had this jacket for 4 years, and it's become my most reached-for layer. I bring it on every trip because it's so lightweight and packable. Takes up less space than my toiletries bag. It's the perfect layer for in between your wool sweater and your shell. That said, here are my two "but"s. One, it's actually not that warm. It's great for taking the chill off or adding another 10º of warmth to your layering system. This is definitely not a standalone jacket though. I can count on one hand the number of times I had this jacket on without another layer above or below. Two, the outer material is really delicate. Twice now, I've had it on as a belay layer, and then forgotten to take it off before heading up the next pitch. I'm talking warming up on a 5.7 to 5.9 vertical wall. The first time, I used superglue to seal up the little puncture holes. This second time, I've got about 4 new holes, and they're more like gashes than puncture holes, so unfortunately I think I'm looking at a replacement jacket this time. (Sadly, Arc'teryx is out of my budget at this point of my life, so I'm gonna have to switch brands.)I'd still recommend this jacket, but with a strong disclaimer to remember to take it off —or to protect it with an outer layer— if you intend to do anything active in close proximity to rock or ice.

Strange fit
3 January 2020

I love this brand of jackets and own three other styles. I ordered a medium in this one (I’m typically a small in other brands) and it not only runs small, it fits very tight under the chest. I could not imagine trying to get a sweater or a thinner base layer under this style. I’m 5’3”, 118 lbs and a 36 C. The sleeves were a perfect length and I really wanted to love this jacket to use under my size small Arc’teryx Beta AR shell jacket. The extremely tight fit in the middle section of the jacket was just too uncomfortable for this kind of investment. I also have a Cerium SV and absolutely love the fit.

Warm and super packable, questionable durability
21 September 2020

I purchased this for a backcountry skiing layer and bikepacking due to it's packability-to-warmth ratio after some research and trying a few puffies on for the right fit. Fit: slim, but plenty of room for arm articulation (covers wrists when bent over on the bike), length is not too long - right at hips. Some other puffies swallowed my body frame due to their length, this jacket is short-torso friendly. I have a fairly straight figure, so I had to cinch the hem drawstring. I'm 165cm/5'5" tall, 52kg/115lbs, bust 85cm/33.5", waist 64.8cm/25.5", and hips 80cm/31" (where the jacket hits). Performance: packability into the included stuff-sack is GREAT, very easy to take along as an emergency layer. Saw some very light rain in Moab, stayed warm and dry. I am disappointed with the durability, since I already see feathers leaking out at the seams after just a couple months of use; however, this doesn't seem to be an issue... yet. Material is thin, but expected due to packability. Appreciate the three-pocket design.

Worthwhile investment!

I'm deployed to a far away place where the weather is as unpredictable as Donald Trump. Winter crept up and attacked us one day, and I was ill-fitted with an old North Face jacket. A good friend and resident subject matter expert on Afghan winters recommended Arcteryx, and I spent a hot minute hiding beneath my bed when I saw the prices of their outerwear. Worse case, I figured, I'd wind up looking like a marshmallow, but at least a warm mashmallow.I bought this jacket after a bit of reading reviews from other websites. It arrived today, and it couldn't have been better timing-- it went from this-really-sucks cold to OMG-I-picked-the-wrong-occupation-in-life cold within a matter of hours. It arrived today, and it couldn't have been better timing-- it went from this-really-sucks cold to OMG-I-picked-the-wrong-occupation-in-life cold within a matter of hours. When I opened the box, I was shocked at how compact it was... and terrified. I popped it on for a quick test drive thinking I'd have to send it back and suffer a few more weeks, but as surprised a few minutes later when I felt remarkably toasty warm. I thought maybe it was hot flashes, so I stepped outside and bumbled around to see how well it held up to the cold. Surprisingly, I didn't feel any of it, and it's a rough 25-degrees Fahrenheit right now with a murderous wind. As thin as the jacket looks --and as much disbelief as I'm in-- it works wonders against the cold.I haven't tested its durability against the rain and don't plan on it, and I can see myself popping on another layer for morale purposes if the wind decides to pipe up again. However, this jacket is anti-marshmallow and very form fitting, with just the perfect length in the sleeves and the waist (almost too perfect-- I rather it be a tad bit longer just for security purposes). At 5'8" and 130, I went with a small, and potentially should have went for a medium if layering up. However, again, it's true to size and fits perfectly, and even with the price has become the new love of my life. I can easily see this being perfect for those who are active and need a buffer between them and the cold, and would highly recommend it.As always, MooseJaw was a miracle worker on fast shipping, great prices, and great incentives-- wouldn't shop anywhere else!

nice sweater/jacket but...

I loved this jacket the moment I tried it on and was so disappointed when I washed it the first time, following instructions it got a huge tear in the front. If you get this jacket for sure wash in a front load with a mesh bag-don't even consider that as a recommendation!! Hand washing is even better. After getting it replaced (Arcteryx you are wonderful!) the outer fabric got slightly caught in the sipper as I did it up and ripped the fabric again. Love the coat but would certainly trade a little extra weight for something more durable. When I go into the bush I feel a little as though I am off roading with a brand new truck that I'm afraid to get scratched. Its not nearly as fun when you're constantly worried that you're going to rip your jacket on a tree branch ... MoreI loved this jacket the moment I tried it on and was so disappointed when I washed it the first time, following instructions it got a huge tear in the front.
