Aristopet Cat Laxative Paste 100 G

Aristopet Cat Laxative Paste, Hairball Remover, 100g The paste like texture of this laxative for cats ensures that it is easy to administer. Unlike tablets, they won't even know it's there. The taste is highly palatable and can simply be mixed in with the cat's food. Cats spend a lot of time grooming themselves and because they use their tongue as a personal comb, they often ingest hair. This can cause blockages in the digestive tract. The hair cannot be digested so it must come out one way or another. When the clumps of hair are large enough, cats cough up their hairballs. This is unpleasant and often painful for the cat. A better way of removing ingested hair is for it to pass regularly with faeces. Laxative paste can help with constipation and to push hair through the digestive tract.Malt flavoured paste is appealing.Easy to administer paste texture.

Our elderly Burmese was having constipation problems. Our vet recommended Aristopet laxative. Apollo likes the taste and licks about 3 centimetres off my finger twice a day. His constipation has improved.

Does the job for medium to long hair kitties!

Both my cats will lick it off my finger, where my mates cat runs....he is a bit of a baby really! Good to move out those furballs so they do not have to cough them up!!

I put this on my cats front legs. He's a long hair so big problem with fur balls. I apply a small amount, about the size of half a five cent piece and drag it down his front leg and he cleans it off. Been using this for a few years and it works for me

Effective laxative
30 June 2021

Our aged Burmese cat suffers from intermittent constipation, no doubt due to her sedentary lifestyle. We have been using Aristopet for several years and it eases her problems considerably. It has no side effects that we are aware of, but it does take two full-grown humans to administer the dose. No doubt other cats would just lick the paste from a saucer, but Miss Cat is a bit stubborn.

Great product for indoor cats.

My cat loves this stuff and it stops her from vomiting up hairballs so then they pass naturally.Great for indoor cat breeds.

I use it for my cat already 5 years

The hair may accumulate in cat's stomach and form hairballs. Signs of hairballs are coughing, vomiting, gagging and constipation. This paste help to push hair through the digestive tract. My cat loves the taste.

Keep Cats Regular
19 August 2020

like many others we have an old cat who has started on tablets to help get fluid away from his heart. A side effect of this is he gets constipated. I found this cream and not only does it keep him regular he loves the taste and licks it off hubby finger each night. Highly recommend.

Needs to be mixed in food
6 October 2022

Don't know why but my elderly cat went off this laxativve paste after having happily eaten it off my finger in the past. I now mix it with a strong fish wet food and he accepts it again

Works but...
16 June 2022

The product is great, but my cats absolutely hate the taste, even the one that eats everything. The cat that needs to take it runs from the smell, and the only way he'll take it is if I put it directly on his fur, but I've had to stop doing that since it's causing him to start running away from me. The smell is just way too strong that adding to food doesn't even cover it, which is a real shame since giving a small amount to him once a day was clearing up his furball problem completely.

cat accepts the taste
10 November 2022

very hard to squeeze out the tube. my cat doesn't seem to mind the taste, but getting her to eat it is the problem. she's not very smart, so she doesn't notice if i put it on her fur. so I have to smear it around her mouth.
