This item just arrived in the mail this morning, I tested it on a plastic bottle as my dogs love to chew those. At first my lab puppy licked the bottle once then sneezed and walked away, two minutes later she went back to the bottle and was no longer phased, she chewed the entire bottle. Unfortunately this product does not work at all. At least not for my puppy. My older dog also did not seem phased.

I bought this product to stop one of my dogs continually licking the other dogs ears and head, especially his head. It did not work, it is nothing to do with the ability of the spray to stay on the dog, but rather the inability of the formula to stop him licking it off. I had to wash my hands repeatedly to get it off them, and its nasty tasting, but obviously not nasty enough. Im disappointed but it was worth a try.

It works well. My dog will sniff the area I sprayed out of curiosity but he will sneeze and walk away. He likes to chew wires and furniture legs and after spray he's not interested at all. I need to respray one or two spots in about two weeks time which is acceptable for me. I'm glad I bought it.

This one has the strongest bitter taste out of all the ones I have tried (Fidos and natures miracle). It has a higher concentrate of the bittering substance (because I can taste it in the air after I spray it). I do find with all of these types of products you have to reapply every day. My puppy did stop chewing the skirting board and furniture. It does leave a white residue, I haven't tried to clean it up yet because my pet is still a puppy.
It seems to only work when I freshly spray it on the furniture damp, but when it dries my puppy goes straight back to chewing again.
I tried this one because it had more positive reviews than some of the others. But we both sneezed and she went straight back to chewing the same thing. Will need a different solution.
Everything I've sprayed with this product, he hasn't chewed!!! Only bought it yesterday and already he walks straight past the stuff I've already sprayed. Some things he has gone back a while later to test it, but as long as I give it another quick spray, he walks away. He is learning quickly. I also make sure I give him a chew toy straight after to reinforce what he is allowed to chew on. The only down side is I have to make sure I keep the spray close by because it looses its effect pretty quick on some surfaces.
Puppy sneezed and avoided the timber door frame the first time. Didn't work a second time or third. Try another product
I initially bought this at a Petstock because the sales assistant let my pup sniff it to see if he was turned off it first as the assistant said he has found it works on some dogs and not others. My puppy definitely does not like the smell and I find it does not make our carpet/furniture smell, however it does wear off so the next night when puppy goes to chew in the spot again, we have to respray which we are happy to do.
Bought this to stop our GSD pup chewing on the couch, I think she found it even more appealing after I sprayed it with this solution.
