The other footbed sandals that I own had excessive wear on the rubber sole and I was only able to wear them for a season, but, I will easily be wearing these next year all summer long as well.

I have only ever seen these for sale in John Lewis. I am so glad they had my size. I love them and they look great with everything. This time of the year all I wear are Birkenstocks, flip flops and Crocs. Such lovely styles and colours and comfort. These black and white sandals are gorgeous. Own them and you won't regret it.

They were too narrow and too long, so had to be returned.The J.L. Return Service, via my local Waitrose, was efficient.It would be useful if J.L. provided the European sizes, as they are what is printed on the footbed, as part of the online Product description.This model was a bit flashy to my liking -- it was disappointing that I could find none of the more ordinary Arizona models in a simple black or white.

These are taking forever to break in. My fault but the first time I wore them, I wore them for an 8 hour work day and could barely walk after because my feet hurt so bad. Over a month later, after wearing them intentionally frequently to break them in faster, they're better but still not what I would call comfortable yet. I will continue to wear them but I highly doubt I would ever again pay over $100 for another pair
Was beyond excited for these sandals! They were a special purchase that I had been wanting for a long time. I spend over 100.00 on sandals and they arrive with glue all over the side?! I would expect this for a 20 or maybe 30.00 pair of sandals but not 100.00. So incredibly disappointed
Just received my new Birkenstocks yesterday so I haven't worn them yet, just try them on. These are my second pair of Birkenstocks, I already have a gold pair. These are, as usual, very comfy. They look a million dollars! They are quit pericey but I know I will have lots of wear from them. They actually retail more on some 'other' site! Thank you JL for the small saving.
I have been trying to "wear them in" for months now to no avail. Most uncomfortable sandals I've owned, and for the astronomical price, sorry they should feel comfortable! The soles are like walking on plastic boards. I don't understand the popularity of these. My feet literally hurt after wearing these.They fit my wide feet as they have adjustable straps and they're made well, if only they felt okay😔
I've worn Birkenstock's for years, and these are no different to my others, super comfortable and well made. They last for years, so well worth the money.It's useful JL state whether they're narrow or regular fit, as a lot of other retailers don't.
Narrow does NOT fit like a Women’s medium. I had to return these. I don’t know why the Arizona style does not come in regular fit like the other styles. These were way too narrow and I don’t have wide feet-I never get wide sizing. For the price, and the fact that the sizing is weird anyway (6-6.5, 7-7.5), you should definitely try these in before purchasing.
