I have been looking for this product from Arlo for a long time (an Arlo floodlight camera that can be mounted laterally on the eaves of our house and hardwired). This product works great and exactly what I wanted/needed. Easy to install and no having to recharge batteries. I might add, it is so easy to install, that if I needed to install additional lights/cameras on the eaves and the wires are there, I can install additional cameras where there are no lights or cameras at currently. I have 2 units now installed for the past 2 weeks and they work great! I do suggest that Arlo make some additional adjustments to the product in the future. They should make the camera and lights a bit more flexible/adjustable. Security is really important to me. I really like to be able to see what is going on in and around my home no matter if I am home or away. The Arlo Outdoor Smart Hardwired Floodlight Camera does just that. I like the combination of the flood light and camera. The Arlo Wired Floodlight was super easy to set up, and it’s been working great so far. The light is super bright, and video is pretty crisp and motion detection is good, which gives me peace of mind. The only downside is that I had to move it around a bit outside trying different locations around the porch since the initial spot I chose didn't cover the area I wanted, but once I found the right angle, it’s been solid.My only gripe is that you need a subscription to go back and view past recordings, which is kind of a bummer. I received the Arlo Wired Floodlights/ Camera using the Influenster program. The camera is great. It was very easy to install, only taking about 15 minutes. It was also simple to set up the Arlo app and connect my camera. The camera works great. The picture is very clear, even at night or when zoomed in. It is also great at detecting motion and I love the prompt notification. My camera is set up as a ceiling mount, as that is how my previous floodlight was installed. I do think this specific model would work better as a wall mount. As a ceiling mount, the camera faces down and can't really angle out to get a full view or yard. If it is was wall mounted, I think the view would be much better. I love it! I had a dead floodlight to replace, and the new wired floodlight camera is perfect. Installation was easy as the new one fit perfectly on the previous outlet box. I love the S-hook provided to simplify installation while up on a ladder. The floodlight camera looks good, works great, and natively integrated with my existing Arlo security cameras that I’ve had for many years. I did have a pretty significant issue during setup, but it was due to being an early adopter. Once Arlo fixes the issue and deploys the app update, this floodlight camera will be simple for all to setup and use. I’m very happy with the quality of this product. Hardware and software.

Works smoother than expected. It is hard wired which means you have to hook the wiring up. It’s not a plug in style security camera. That being said if you’re not comfortable with electrical work totally look into asking an electrician like the company suggests. I love that both the camera and the flood light can be adjusted to aim where you need it. I will say I kind of wish the bulk of it could be used as wiring housing but maybe that’s just me because the flat back wall also benefits to set flush against the wall. A small learning curve with using the app but it’s no big deal. I had a different camera prior to this one so hence the learning curve. Overall a great camera and worth the buy. I’d prefer a higher quality camera over something small.
