Built to last. If only I had recieved the bunches notification for this item two days earlier. I was out at my mums place recently, picking up leaves and what-have-you around her house yard and had to use basic bin bags to dispose of them. When I searched for them instore I read the packaging to discover that there was only 3 bags to a pack. At first I was a little disappointed thinking that I will end up going through these quickly. I was mistaken. These bags are built tough and after several refills of leaves and twigs, they remained unbroken. Excellent. These Armada garbage bags are tough, they stand up on their own and are cheap for what they are worth. I will definately be getting more.

Sturdy. We do not usually use garden bags as we have a green bin for that but we did use it to store our cans and bottles in before taking them in to be recycled. I found this bag to be much better quality than the usual bin bags we have previously used for this purpose. They are much stronger and sturdier and stay up on their own. The yellow draw tape comes in handy to I can tighten as necessary rather than just tying the handles of a bin bag. I can open and close as necessary to put cans in and to keep smells inside. Would definitely consider buying these in future if we needed a reliable plastic garden bag incase our green bin was full.

STRONG & GOOD QUALITY. I am so impressed with the quality and strength of the bags and it is fabulous that they can stand up by themselves unaided which is so convenient when pruning the garden. I have started to go through my garden, pulling weeds, trimming bushes and cutting out golden cane suckers and the bags have been a god send. I plan to empty the bags in my green bin and reuse the bags until they wear out. I have also used one of the bags to store all things camping, so easy to keep items together with our tent. One of my children has just moved house - wish I knew of these bags then because their thickness, strength, having a tie at the top and to stand up independently would have been so useful for all sorts of things from carrying clothes, linen, kitchen ... MoreSTRONG & GOOD QUALITY. Im done buying garden garbage bags... I always just end up throwing them away anyway... Jokes aside, these are great bags. Thick plastic. = Strong. Can fit lots of grass clipping, clay and small branches in without tearing. Price. Much cheaper than name brand bags, yet same quality. I used these bags to store some grass clippings and soil (clay) until rubbish day. The bags were sturdy and the drawstring was very handy. I could drag the bag around on the grass without ripping or breaking. I would buy these bags again, even though I just throw them out...
Thick and useful. I initially was not going to redeem this offer because I put my green waste into a council bin and because of the marketing ('Garden bags') thought I wouldn't use them. After reading some reviews I thought they would be perfect for a friend who needed to store a fan over winter. The written information on the packaging of these bags was useful and stood out, however, the picture of the bag gives the impression it is much larger than it actually is. It was a good size for the fan and it did seem to be quite strong and extra thick. The draw tape also seems to be quite sturdy. I like the idea that they can stand on its own as this is often a struggle with garbage bags. I'm not a fan of them being made overseas. While I have used one for a friend I'm pretty sure the other two will sit in the cupboard for a long time. I will probably pass these on to a friend who lost her house in the December bushfires so she can store items while she waits for furniture. Unless I had a specific purpose in mind I don't think I would buy them again
Handy no need to haul the green bin. I have a green waste bin which is emptied weekly and I didn’t think I would use these bags in the garden. When my very large frangipani started losing its leaves I tried one of these bags instead of hauling the green bin from the back yard to the front yard. The bag stands upright so it is easy to fill. Now I take the bag of leaves to the green bin, empty it, and reuse the bag. Six times so far and no damage to the bag. It’s worth noting that the packaging does says “Glass and sharp objects should be wrapped securely before placing in the bag”. Leaves and soft vines only for me, no small branches or sticks. I appreciate the chance to try these, however I wouldn’t buy them as I have the green waste bin.
Easy as 123. I recently put one of these bags to the test when we visited my husbands 98 year old grandfather. He lives on his own, and maintains he very big yard and garden by himself. Every visit he always sends us home with a bag full of vegies and suitable garden clipping for our beloved chooks and worm farms. We found this bags as easy as 1 open bag 2 fill bag and 3 close/tie bag all of which can be easily achieved solo as the bag does stand on its own and is thick and strong and did not rip at all. He loved the bag so much so that i left the other 2 (comes as a 3 pack) with him to use during the times when his green waste bin is full and awaiting collection. My used bag is still in great condition and awaiting out next visit for a swap over. Unfortunately ... MoreEasy as 123. Many uses possible and not just garden waste.
Amazing and tough. I use these all the time. We have an interesting rubbish disposal system in my retirement village and all green waste has to be bagged. These bags come in at a good price. They fit into my rubbish bin really well so I can pop green waste in as I weed and prune. They are very sturdy and tough and so easy to tie up and lift out to the kerbside. Highly recommend these.
Unnecessary product - but OK, if you find a rare use for it. I noticed below that I am not the first person to figure that this product does not really have any use as garden plastic bag:Either you have a green bin in town and you bring your green waste in a wheelbarrow or a crate to the green bin (reusable & easier that a plastic-bag, which collapses, when trying to fill it), or you live on acreage and you bring your green waste to a compost pile in e. g. a wheelbarrow. At no point does a plastic bag make any sense - you can neither reuse the bag (will tear) nor put it into the green bin, nor put it on the compost pile... However, I found a rare special use for the bag - see picture attached:Incidentally I installed just now anyway an electric winch on the upper ... MoreUnnecessary product - but OK, if you find a rare use for it. However, I found a rare special use for the bag - see picture attached:Incidentally I installed just now anyway an electric winch on the upper beam (self-welded bracket) of the upper balcony to lift huge heavy furniture up and down.. Worked great. However, as we just had so much rain, it was handy to have that garbage bag, which can be firmly tied closed after putting it over the winch to protect it from the heavy rain for those few days, before I take the winch down again.
Rename The Bag. These are fantastic, heavy duty sturdy plastic bags. Disposing of green waste into landfill in plastic bags is definitely not environmentally friendly in so many ways. Most councils have green waste bins or facilities to dispose of green waste free of charge to be reused as mulches in our parks and gardens and improve our environment. However the bags are perfect for storing things around the house where a good sturdy bag is required, they are self standing, easy to fill and come with great ties to tie up the bag if required. That is why I suggest marketing them as house hold storage bags and get away from sending more plastic to the local land fill. Made in China, fully imported, it would be great to see this manufacturing being sourced in this country.
