I was looking to repair the faded black plastic trim parts on my bike. this product did the job fairly effectively and cheaply, but you usually need to apply several coats. The first coat alone generally won't be enough if the black plastic trim is very faded. After buying this spray, I discovered that it's also available as wipes. Have loved this stuff for years. I used to use it on almost every surface possible before I learned the most appropriate surfaces to use it on and where to NOT, like seats! Really protects the dash and interior plastic surfaces and keeps them looking new. Great also on the external decorative trim, mudflaps, etc.
I have been used this product for decades, from car to car! It does help to protect the interior against UV damaged and reduce the rate of deterioration.The only drawback it may feel a bit tacky if overdone. also, a bit too shine on the surface it may be disturbing your vision, but then they have produced " a low shine " version that has to solve these issues. Overall it is good to use to protect your car and give it a fresh look.
We as consumers in Australia understand that the harsh climate can do away with the cars we own and have utilised armoural since I was a young lad. The armoural original is a marvel on our interiors and exteriors as without we would not be able to show off our cars proficiently. This product does a pretty good job on dull old looking trim it tends to revive the appearance of new or well looked after trim.It is easy to use and as long as you follow the instructions it comes up good.
competitive price for a silicone based cleaner/restorer/softener/rejuvenator. If you don;'t want silicone based coatings on your vinyl then look to another product. For me with an old car that had grimy vinyl it was an obvious choice (no need for other much more expensive non-silicone based brands and chemical composition product as Armour All is great for removing stubborn grime and softening vinyl to prevent cracking.
I have been using this protectorate for over 40years and it has never let me down. When coupled with Nifty cleaner (found in Coles) it brings back an amazing sheen to dash pads, trim and tyres. I no longer us it for external rubber trim as there are now better alternatives. It still has a habit of attracting dust, this can be a problem but I just carry a microfibre cloth with me and give the surfaces a basic wipe to keep them looking good.
