these tools are fab and really good value for money, there's lots of small details that make the army painter versions of these tools superior, a case to hold drill bits in, a robust cap for the craft knife as well as an locking part to stop the blade becoming loose, and lots more nice little touches. Everything you want.

All around great product has a lot of useful tools however the glue isn't all that great. It arrived within 24 hours of purchasing which was awesome. Look forward to using the tools to start my Primaris Successor Chapter.

The pin vise was an absolute disappointment - the 1mm chuck barely holds the 1mm drill so it wobbles loose after a few seconds use. Also, the chuck is poorly manufactured and holds the drill at a slight angle, so a 1mm hole becomes a 1.5mm hole. The drills are so blunt as to make drilling a chore. A considerable amount of pressure has to be put onto the pin vise to make the drill 'bite', which is not good when drilling out a 1mm gun barrel. Even then the drill doesn't cut properly - a hole that should have taken 10 seconds to drill into plastic ended up taking two or three minutes. You'd be better heating up a paperclip and melting your way through. It's like trying to drill a hole with a toothpick. The file is not a file, but a metal emery board - it is literally ... MoreThe pin vise was an absolute disappointment - the 1mm chuck barely holds the 1mm drill so it wobbles loose after a few seconds use. A genuine surprise from this kit, considering everything else it contains. The cutters are not a reason to buy this product though. Just buy some precision side-cutters and forget the rest of this box - it's a collection of cheap and nasty tools for people who don't know any better.

An OK set with a couple of good items.
16 June 2019

This set looks better than it is. The side cutters are very cheap, the hobby knife is comfortable, but I would recommend replacing the blade with one that is sharp. The Green Stuff is OK, but not as good as Kneed-It and the drill is too small for the 2 larger bits and again, very cheap and I don't want to force it because I am worried that it will break. The sculpting tool and mini file are very good, I am happy to have those. And finally, there is a reason the Super Glue is free.Sorry to be a bit negative about this, but it is not worth the $45 I paid for it.

I got this kit for a friends son who’s starting out modelling thinking it would get him started in the right direction but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend this kit and I hate to say that because I never give anything a bad review, however there is just to much wrong with this kit to ignore.*1st issue was I only got half a tweezer so that got binned.*2nd the kit has a film of white power in it that has stained everything and wont come off know matter how hard i try to clean it.*3rd The hand drill chuck thread is full of the white powder and had a hell of a time getting it undone to clean it out but the rotating head is stiff and can’t come apart to clean so basically it to ended up being binned.*The plastic box that is supposed to hold all of the Drill bits is ... MoreI got this kit for a friends son who’s starting out modelling thinking it would get him started in the right direction but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend this kit and I hate to say that because I never give anything a bad review, however there is just to much wrong with this kit to ignore.*1st issue was I only got half a tweezer so that got binned.*2nd the kit has a film of white power in it that has stained everything and wont come off know matter how hard i try to clean it.*3rd The hand drill chuck thread is full of the white powder and had a hell of a time getting it undone to clean it out but the rotating head is stiff and can’t come apart to clean so basically it to ended up being binned.*The plastic box that is supposed to hold all of the Drill bits is empty..Binned !!Apart from that it’s got a nice little set of Side-cutters and hobby knife and superglue...so not a complete loss!!

Great Tool Kit!

Perfect starter tools for a beginner! The Hobby Knife is top quality but unfortunately the snippers aren't the same ones you can buy individually. Still a great product and is much better than the average Amazon clippers!

Great model starter kit
5 October 2022

This is a great starter kit for making models. The the basic tools are here. I just wish it had a 2mm and 3mm bit for the hand drill so I can add magnets to models but everything else is here.

Great tools but poor quality steel

I've had the tools for a couple weeks now and they've worked great; however, last time I took them out of the box, they were covered in rust.

Tools were in poor condition.
25 March 2019

Upon arrival of this kit the files, knife, and tweezers were rusted, and the drill was broken. The Clippers and the super glue were in good condition, and work well.I'd imagine I just got a bad box, this kit is fine, and very well priced.
