In 1988, Ed Carr embarked on a journey. He was dedicated to craft exceptional Australian sparkling wine, equal to the world’s best. And by 1995, House of Arras was founded – the name ‘Arras’ means ‘rich tapestry’. Today, House of Arras is Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine brand with an unparalleled reputation. Brut Elite is a classic blend of the 3 noble varieties of premium cold climate sparkling wine. The extended maturation on year lees builds a level of complexity of global parity. Red fruit driven with generous flavours, minerality and texture. The 3 varieties combine to give a seamless palate of sophistication and poise. Secondary flavours of truffle and brioche overlay the lychee like fruit further building complexity and persistence. A firm natural acidity provides a backbone for the longevity and vibrancy of this wine.

Arras Brut Elite 750ml

Beautiful and fruit filled .. very light & bubbly, nice uplift of acid at the end, better with food. The critics reviews are based on the 1501 which would be a better bubbly. For people like me, its important that the reviews are for the right wine. Laine

Took advantage of a series of fortunate voucher & price options to secure some consistently excellent Tassie fizz from Ed Carr in his role as the master of Australian Sparkling wine. Go to special occasion drop, and it always presents superbly. High recommendation.

This is my go to Arras sparkling. Mainly because i can’t afford to go for their other more Celebrated and pricier offerings. But it is great quality Tasmanian sparkling from Australia’s top sparkling maker. At the price wine collective had it i should have bought more but i went for variety instead of this great value.
Classy wine from an acknowledged expert maker of sparkling wine and excellent service from Wine Collective
This purchase was purchased for someone else as a thank you gift so I didn’t try it. It was bought with confidence though, having bought heaps of the 1601 (not sure if it’s still that cuvée) previously. High quality Tassie bubbles that definitely beats sub $70 French alternative.
Love the slightly citrus character, lemon, orange peel, with that hint of lime juice. Super fine bead, very easy drinking, value for money, highly recommended
We didn't taste these but sent them out as corporate gifts - all recipients were stoked!
Already a very good Australian sparkling, the price point until late 2021 was in the region of $38 per bottle. Since early 2022 that price has risen to approx. $52 - putting the Arras into competition with the French imports and, very best of the Australian vintage offerings. As some of the Arras has been in my cellar for many years, the Wine Collective offering had to be taken up. Good buying at this price!
We had to buy a few bottles for a special celebration, and were going to buy something French with a yellow label - but decided to support an Australian winery instead. After much research we settled on this, and I'm so pleased that we did. It was light but complex, and enjoyed by everyone.
