The bookshelf is an amazingly compact design for a small space which can also hold DVD's and CD's. The instructions are not very clear if you are a first timer putting something together. There was also 22 pieces missing from the package which I ended up buying from Bunnings due to the difficulty of trying to contact the seller. Some raw edges are still able to be seen even though they face the back of the product. Solve these problems and you are on a winner.

Cute

A great bookshelf. Took us hours to work out how to put it together, though, and didn't realise it recommends being attached to the wall once complete. We just use it for lighter books, and it seems to be fine. Overall looks nice, but isn't quite what I expected.

Functional?

Can hold books. Seems to tip forward once books are in place. I don't really trust it free standing. I know it has security loops to attach it to a wall but I'm in a rental property I can't go around drilling holes in the wall. Might be great for magazines or phamlets.

Good bookshelf, if it didn't have a manufacturing

Loved the bookcase, however it seems that mine had a manufacturing error as a couple if the tears doesn't have the white part facing out, instead it has the brown part. It makes it look a bit messy, if the pieces of wood could he placed the proper way (white side facing out) it would be great.

Great idea but flimsy

Great concept: BUT It is really flimsy for the number of shelves and the books it can hold: would not recommend it. When you place it against the skirting board it is hard to then secure it to the wall as it sticks out too far..... Please make it in better quality materials, for appropriate cost, then it would be a decent piece of storage.

Looks like what the picture shows

I brought this as a gift and we have only just put it together. It was a little difficult to assemble as there were only pictures and sometimes with just pictures it was not very clear if what we were assembling was correct. We have had to put other items together so it was not like we were novices this Artiss Tree bookshelf was a little more challenging, in the end it did look like what it was supposed to, so we are happy.

Love it!

Love it in so many ways. It could easily hold 35 books. Love the quality of the build. It is relatively easy to follow instructions. Love the vertical space, not floor space that it takes. Love the design. It is exactly as described. So happy, totally recommend.

Poor assembly

The assembly for the unit is poorly thought out- lots of dowels to align the intersecting shelves, but nothing to align the shelves to the backing. As a result, unless you get lucky you have potential for the screws from back onto shelves ripping through to the surface. Its not much good for a display if that happens. I binned it.

Stylish, high quality bookshelf.

I purchased this book shelf for my babys playroom!Each book is easily visible which is great for my daughter to choose from when shes older.Very high quality procuct - modern and stylish. Very strong and sturdy. Also comes with fixtures to fit to the wall.Very happy with this product - would highly recommend

Value for money

I often get comments on how much people love my shelving unit. It's not excellent quality but for the price it is great. I highly recommend. I only wish I got the nine shelf instead of the seven shelf.
