Artiss Queen Size Gas Lift Bed Frame Base With Storage Platform Fabric

The bed is fine quality and easy to put together. The fabric section is a little rough to the touch similar to the feel of denim. I would note that there is no "bottom" to the bed so anything stored underneath will be directly on the floor. I got around this by using some tubs etc. so it was not a big deal, just something to note.I would also note that the mechanism to pull the bed up is a strap not a handle and as someone with early onset arthritis I could see this being a problem to overcome down the track.This is a good bed, I only mention these things because they weren't in the product description and are things that I think other online shoppers may find useful.

Ordered from seller Prime Cart. Frame lasted 16 months before it came apart on the corner where you would think it would be welded together. Storage section is used for things I don't need to access on a regular basis so lucky if I even need to lift the frame once a month (which shouldn't matter). I would expect the gas struts to fail from wear & tear, not the actual metal frame to come apart. As it's outside of the sellers 12 month warranty (obviously they haven't heard of ACCC consumer guarantee), their only offer of solution is for me to repurchase. All the bed frames I've owned in my 42 years, I have never had one break & I have owned them for 10+ years each. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT REPURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER.

Considering the price the bed is pretty good. I couldn't find anything else in the market with a similar price. You need to be quite patient to put everything together. It took us about 3 hours in two to put it together. It is not hard but it's got a lot of little pieces but the instructions are good. You dont need to have any tools, they send everything. The only negative part was that there were 4 screws missing. After 3 hours of putting the pieces together, we had to run to a bunnings store to buy screws to finish building the bed. Legs in storage do get o the way if you have something big to put underneath the bed. But overall, so far so good.

Accessible, reliable and easy to assemble

Extremely well thought out instructions and packaging of the product, you do not need any additional tools. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I found it was laborious but so is any flat pack bed. It took me approximately 2.5 hours to put together (including breaks because I was lazy). Once complete, it is so sturdy and reliable. It's the best bed base I've ever bought. It doesn't make a sound and barely moves when getting in and out of bed. The gaslight feature is so easy to use (I'm a short female) and so convenient for storage space. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone looking for a solid investment in their bedroom furniture.

Bed description needs rewriting.

Disappointed with this purchase. My son had previously purchased one of these beds and it was great. Unfortunately the bed has been modified and now there is no lining in the under mattress storage and so stuff just sits on the floor. This wouldn't be a problem except because of the bed feet there is a 4 - 5 cm gap under the bed sides allowing for moths/cockroaches/millipedes/ or any other bugs that might find their way into a house to make their way into the nice dark cosiness under my bed and nest amongst my stuff. Also, the advertisement plainly states that the fabric the bed surrounds are made of is "upholstered with premium linen fabric". Do not buy this bed frame

i purchased this bed frame last year. i contacted myer on the 26/6/21 regarding struts for bed. are not working. This issue is still not resolved. I have had to supply a picture of part not working and they were going to send me parts. Then they said i had to circle parts in pamphlet that are not working. Now they have asked to send pictures of parts not working again. They are a very difficult company to work with and treat you with no respect. Bed is made fairly cheaply and i doubt it will last long. Not much support with slats. Bed does not do what it is suppose too. Cannot use space under bed for storage as struts do not work.

Functional, affordable and easy to assemble.

Easy to order and have delivered. I was able to assemble the gas strut bed frame independently with the tools provided with the bed. Fantastic functional storage solution for those living in apartment. Intend on purchasing a thin bed head for a design feature as there is a gap approximately 10cm from mattress bed head to the wall. A much more affordable purchase than store-based gas strut bed frame options. Thanks Myer!

Good Quality, low cost, very happy

Looks as expected, with grey slightly padded fabric all the way around the outside, very good quality for the price. Really good amount of storage underneath and once the mattress is on top, it’s not too hard to raise or lower the gas lift.I would highly recommend making sure you have a ratchet for tightening the nuts as if you use the tools provided you would be building it for a very long time. Took about an hour to build with own tools.

Handy for extra storage

Handy for extra storage. Seems okay as a spare bed for the price. Don't think I would want it for my full time bed, its made with very thin materials (wood sides and metal parts). Doesn't have a bottom to the storage space, so everything just sits on the floor, and there is a gap at the bottom, due to the small feet keeping the base off the ground, so will get dusty in the storage area. We are going to line it with thick black plastic to alleviate that. Easy enough to put together.

King Single Gas Lift bed is good

We just finished putting the gas lift bed together. There were a few pieces missing which is totally frustrating but we managed to buy them from Amazon to avoid long delays in claims. The storage underneath is a definite bonus. It is easy to use. The height is low, colour is on point, slats seem a little thin but it all functions as it should.
