This high-quality Asahi LIGHTOOL 72-het weighs only 178 grams ( 6.3 oz), is up to 40% lighter than most 3/8" ratchets, and is as strong. It is a must-have for any rider who wants to minimize tool weight. Many riders opt for a 1/4-inch drive. However, that limits you to sockets up to about 13mm due to the maximum torque you can apply to 1/4-inch ratchets. However, if you want to carry a few larger sockets, such as 17mm or 19 mm, you need 3/8" drive tools such as this Asahi LIGHTOOL ratchet. It is not that much heavier than, for example, a Wera Zyklops 1/4" drive, which weighs 107 grams (3.8 oz). Add a 3/8" to 1/4" socket adapter, and you still save weight using 1/4 sockets and bits while at the same time having the option to use larger sized 3/8" tooling. There's also a 3/8" to 1/2" socket adapter for larger-sized tooling in the workshop.NOTE: Sockets are locked on and can't fall off until you press the release button on top of the ratchet head. After using the ratchet for multiple weeks I am still impressed with its smooth action and build quality. Some of my colleagues don't enjoy how skinny the handle is but I love it.Solid tool and if it ever breaks I will be buying another.

I did not use it till now. But when holding it you feel the quality. If it works as it feels it is a very nice tool.

Seems to be of good quality, light weight and strong. Time will tell how good it is, but so far so good.
