Comfort and Style with Bold Colors

I really like the ASICS Nimbus 26 Celebration of Sport. They are very comfortable, with soft cushioning that makes long-distance running more manageable. The design is attractive, and the bold colors give them a special touch that stands out. I love how they combine support, style, and those vibrant colors. I would recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable shoes with a distinctive design.

Wore the shoe causally for less than 2 months and, even though the shoe fits fine, developed a hole near the toe. Dick’s advised to return to ASICS. ASICS said it is not a manufacturing defect so warranty does not cover it and they thanked us for our brand loyalty. Never again! Spent $170 of this shoe and it does not last two months and ASICS and Dick’s are fine with that.“ASICS has determined this product is not defective and the damage to the shoe is not a result of, or caused by, the materials used in the manufacturing of the product or an error in the manufacturing process and is a result of normal wear and tear. We appreciate your loyalty to ASICS and thank you for reaching out to us.“

Good all-purpose runner

I am a heavier runner, but have run many ultras, marathons, half marathons, etc. I have put in well over 15,000 miles over the years. I tried the Gel Nimbus because I was coming back from an injury that prevented me from running for a year and I needed a good neutral shoe with sufficient cushion. This fits the bill for me. I am a mid-foot striker and the cushion makes landing smooth, even at 225 lbs. I have been weight training exclusively for a year and have put on quite a bit of muscle, so until I get back down to a racing weight these shoes will be my daily runners. They are very breathable. The upper is flexible and molds to the foot well. I can see these being a great middle-long distance shoe for anyone.

I can't get enough of this shoe!
4 August 2024

Really. The GEL-Nimbus is the best overall running shoe I have ever found. As a long-distance runner, it is an essential part of my collection for my long road runs, but I also love to use it on non-technical trails just because it is so dependable. It has great cushioning, doesn't give me blisters, fits just right, the lacing stays closed, and the mesh fabric dries quickly after running through wet grass. Nothing better!

I love my new Gel-Nimbus 25 but.....
16 August 2024

I have been using ASICS Gel-Nimbus since the #4 so lots of Nimbus miles of satisfaction! I am a 5'5' and 145 lb runner and am 76 years old with 7 marathons and many shorter races on Asics Gel-Numbus.. I love the fit and the pull on strap on heel and the looks and cushioning. My reason for a rating of 4 versus 5 is in the stability and I am getting a little more used to that. It was a shock compared to all previous models when I first put them on and went for a run. The toe box felt really good but the heal stability is taking some getting used to as I felt my heel was not providing the stability I had grown used to on previous models. Maybe just getting used to the added cushioning and heel size will change my mind over time.

Nice shie
9 April 2024

Wanted to find a shoe with decent arch support as I have a high arch and also recently had spinal fusion surgery. Purchase the this shoe about a month ago - so far so good. Only gave it a four stars because I know there can be a more comfortable shoe out there. This shoe is comfortable but it does feel like it will wear down as I begin to walk more and more. I am 6 ft 2 and about 210 lb. I bought these shoes because of a 20% off coupon without that I may have gone for a pair of Brooks. As many reviews have stated no need to buy the most current version of a shoe just buy the next lower version and save some money.

Nicely made shoe, but doesn't work for me
2 October 2024

The shoe is great quality and I love the Paris color combo too. These shoes don't work for me. I ran in them once and my foot slid forward constantly so my toes were jammed in the end. I bought a couple sizes bigger like I always do and even did the runners heel lock lacing trick, but non of that makes a difference. Wish I could return them, but can't since they were worn once. My foot also slides forward when I walk, so I wouldn't buy these for walking either.

Nightmare on the feet
24 July 2024

Putting this review here since the ASICS website likes to delete the one star reviews. I had a great experience with Brooks running shoes but wanted to try something new. The Asics store in Chelsea, NYC offered an in store foot evaluation program which they measured and scanned your feet and helped picked out your shoe and size due to how you walk and run. So I ended up with the Nimbus (also encouraged by the amount of great reviews on this the ASICS website). After buying the shoe, upon my first run (only made a half mile and then unable to proceed) I experienced a good amount of foot pain in my fore foot, on top of that the pull tab/loop on the back heel rubs against your back heel so you get a good amount of abrasion - this results in bloody heels if you wear ... MorePutting this review here since the ASICS website likes to delete the one star reviews. On top of that, the shoes bulky and felt it took a great deal on my knees which my previous Brooks running shoes did not. This was basically a nightmare on the feet. So I went back to the ASICS store to try to return or exchange it for another model and they said if I wear it once then it is not Returnable/exchangeable. So how else are you suppose to know that they are the right fit for your feet or not? This was my first and last experience with ASICS as I found out that they do not back up their products - unlike Brooks which they give you 90 days to try their shoes and you can return them for any reason. I then also noticed a ton of other people who tried to return their new ASICS products was was not able to do so either as per google reviews from their store (shame on me for not reading those prior). This is a terrible brand to do business with and I will never do so again, you have been warned!

Quality shoe, comfortable & cushioned
20 July 2024

I first started wearing Nimbus in 2005, right up until 2018 it was my everyday running shoe but some of the technical changes didn’t suit my feet anymore. It has become a very different shoe to the nimbus of the past and a few previous models just weren’t for me. Fast forward to the Nimbus 26 Paris and this model fits like a glove, the inner sock is a great addition and the cushioning is fab. I’m yet to up my mileage at present but I’ve been enjoying 5-6mile runs in these shoes with my legs feeling fresh after and ready for the next run.

The best shoes I ever bought
8 May 2024

I tried on at least 20 shoes. I didn't want to try these on because the last pair I bought with this brand were horrible. I gave the shoes away.So I tried them on and it was the best pair of shoes out of all of them. I couldn't believe it. They are so comfortable, I am on my feet all day long and I desperately needed a pair of good shoes. My feet were hurting daily. My salesman name was Gabriel and he was very patient, kind, thoughtful, extremely helpful and all around wonderful. He deserves praise for all he did for me. Thank you again Gabriel.I was on my way home and I stopped in at the Tanger Outlet in Pooler Ga. It was the best decision I made that day.
