Great shoe for active kids! Second pair of these in black now. My daughter is ‘hard’ on shoes and she got the entire year of school out of last years. She had pink ones of these for kindy the year before. She is autistic and likes the ‘feel’ of these shoes.

We have come back to contend 7's after a pair of gt-1000 for a small primary school aged kid. Best shoes very comfortable I believe also can suit anything they wear with. Only ever need to buy a new pair when outgrown and can happily pass old ones onto someone smaller.

Durable and comfortable. Tried and tested (& will buy again). These shoes stand up to the active boy test - they have outlasted many other brands of school shoe. They are comfortable with good support for growing feet. They are also hard wearing making them the perfect choice for little people!

My 5 year old son loves wearing these to school, and claims that it makes him run faster because of the 'sticky grip' of the soles :) . Size is on the small side (narrow toe) so best to order one size up (which I did based on reading other reviews). Overall, I'm very happy with the Myer delivery (received within 3 days) and the quality of the shoes.
Absolutely amazing shoes for my son's first year of school! They are still like new after three weeks... and he's a very active little boy! Plus as we are vegan, having such high quality shoes with synthetic leather and mesh fabric is the perfect combination. I just hope he doesn't grow out of them too quickly! ;-)
Asics is a great brand that fit well and last a long time. My children often wear this brand so it was easier to purchase these shoes online. They are great quality and they last. A great price.
Nice shoes but seem to run a bit small and narrow. Thankfully as I bought online I got one pair in each size. The size K10 were too small and the next size only just fit. Hopefully they stretch a bit with wear. Myer returns are easy to do online however you do have to pay the postage to return.
Lightweight but good quality. My son loves the design and they felt comfortable for him from the get go, didnt have to wear them in! We always get Asics for our kids they're always a win win! And they last a long time.
I only buy ASICS for my boys now, they are tough, have a durable sole, easy/quick to get on with Velcro straps, easy to clean in the washing machine, last the distance with hard play and sport, great quality and always a great fit that won’t fall off their foot when climbing. All round reliable shoe. I’ve tried many brands and these are the best!! I always buy from Myer for the best price and the Myer One points.
The Contend 7s are doing a good job for my 6yo son. Plenty of cushion and stability, good action off the toe, light and durable. This was an upgrade from the Patriot 12s which also did well before the upper started to show some wear. I expect these will hold up well until he needs to size up.
