ASICS are an excellent shoes and our go to shoe every year. They have great support for the foot and ankle. We love that they have Velcro straps for the younger kids which make them easier to put on. They come in a variety of colours and each year they bring out a new colour. They are well made and withstand daily wear of a young boy. Highly recommend.

Have had the kids wearing ASICS since they were little, they provide great support for little growing feet and the shoes will outlast the kids growing out of them. They last & last! These ones were for my son to wear to school this year.The price was good too. Would purchase again from here.

Bought these on sale for our 7yo daughter as her school runners. She’s been very happy with them as she mentioned they are much more comfortable then other branded sport shoes she’s had. We were a bit worried of the white colour staining and getting dirty quickly but that hasn’t happened and they still look relatively fresh after over a month of wear. Would happily recommend these considering how my daughter has been wearing them.
My son has hypermobility and his feet roll inwards and has ankle instability. His physio has recommended orthotics and some good supportive shoes. These Asics fit the orthotics with ease, and they support his ankles in a much more aligned position allowing him to run and jump with more stability. We tried some other major sneaker brands and have found them to have stitching come loose or get holes quickly. But Asics seem to be much more hard wearing and last longer, we will continue to buy these for him as he grows.
Great pair or shoes. I got these for my daughters first year of school. She loves them. Says they are very comfortable. I noticed that are very light, and because they are mesh they breath and are cooler on her feet than other recommended school shoes. The velcro strap is brilliant as there is no need for shoe lace tying so she can take them on and off by herself which is a big help in the mornings. The only down side is they get dirty fairly quickly (obviously as they are all white and my child is in prep!) Highly recommend to any parent. There is a black version as well.
Idk how many different brands of shoes we tried for school shoes. None of them lasted Inc several of the big sports brand ones. Did some research... lots of parents swore by asics. This is the 3rd pair of asics they've had and the only reason we ever have to upgrade is if their feet have a growth spurt through the year. Other than that they easily last the full school year and beyond.
These are lovely colours but seem to be quite a narrow fit. This is the second pair I have owned within six months and my son has grown out of these a lot quicker than other brands. The overall performance of the shoe is good and they look nice, but just a narrow fit. My sons fit are pretty average in size too and I wouldnt say they are wide by any means.
Hi I purchased these for my daughter who has additional needs and usually wears splints . When waiting for her new splints to arrive we had a period of requiring a shoe which give good ankle support . These fitted the bull perfectly . Due to hyper mobility she has been unable to get heel strike and her foot drops but with these the support in the heel and ankle have been great . I hadn’t noticed before when looking at too brand school schools just how little support is in the heel until you compare them alongside ascis . These are an excellent alternative for days when she needs a break from her splints and I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthotics to try out .
