I bought the same shoes for both my wife and I. My wife liked the Nike Vaporfly 2 very much, and this seemed to please her a lot. My wife tends to rub the outer heel rubber down very fast, but this shoe has withstood her pounding, unlike the Vaporfly 2 which died very quickly. I am more of a forefoot striker most of the time, and the shoe proved to be stable and bouncy when I am running at a faster pace.Compared to the Superblast, this shoe feels geared for faster runs. For intervals, I like to run in this pair, but for easy and Zone 2 runs, the Superblast is better. I think the heel is also less stable than the Superblast for heel-strikers. After adjusting the laces to use the lower lace holes for a tighter lock-down, the problem seemed to have disappeared. I will continue to monitor on this. Regarding durability, I have about 60km on this pair, similarly my wife as well, and the outsole rubber is holding up very well.Being a heavier slower runner myself, I really like the firmer Turbo foam, but at the same time, I am excited to see if ASICS will use the Turbo+ foam on the S4 (and on the Superblast). In fact, I really urge ASICS to upgrade the foam on the Hyper Speed to Turbo or Turbo+. That will really make a really good lightweight trainer/racer shoe. After all, not everyone wants a high stacked shoe, and ASICS has the ability to do better than existing competition.That's just my thoughts. Thank you very much.

Shoes from the ASIC brand, are truly extraordinary, providing a breakthrough in thinking that other brands have not thought about, which is that they really care about running lovers, especially marathons, because breaking through the SUB4 wall is very difficult for me, until I found these shoes, which revived my enthusiasm, to continue practice.. These Japan exclusive shoes are a higher end version of the Magic Speed 3 series. Lightweight and fast. I never had a carbon plate shoe and I noticed the difference in my run time instantly. Highly recommend for people improving their run game and want more than a soft easy ride.
After only two months of light wear, parts of the top mesh has worn away on both shoe and Asics tells me it’s not covered under their warranty. Would not recommend!
