Great school shoes if you don’t have to have the hard leather shoes for school. The toe of the shoes are in the leather material which means they don’t have wet socks from walking through damp grass. Easy to put on. Kids say they’re comfy. Good for active kids who just want to run all lunch.

These shoes are perfect for my 5 year old. Not as heavy as a traditional school sneaker but not as flexible as his normal sport Asics. Purchased this brand this year after going through 2 pairs of school shoes from another leading brand last year that started falling apart 1 week after wearing.

Great product and suitable for kids walking. Amazing product. This shoe is extremely lightweight, making it more comfortable to wear when walking. They provide my kid a lot of joy, and he enjoys wearing them to school.
Great sports shoe for my daughter. There are very comfortable, and she loves the splash of lilac.Sizing guide should include the recommendation to upsize two sizes though, as we had to exchange the last pair. Would be great if they came in the "preschool" option with the velcro tab as my daughter can't do her laces by herself yet.
Great school shoe for my son to start kindy. He is narrow footed with quite fallen arches. These shoes are very supportive and fit his feet beautifully! They’re a good-a rounder for most feet, but I wouldn’t recommend for kids with wide feet.
My daughter has bad pronation, we have seen 2 paeds and 3 podiatrist and they have all said she will grow out of it when she has better muscle tone. None of the orthopaedic shoes have helped her much but The athletes foot fitted her for these shoes and they have made the world of difference in how she walks and runs , she’s less tired. They have built in arch support and great support up the ankle.
My son loves his new blue shoes. Arrived quickly. I've given 4 stars not 5 as he still wears through these shoes more quickly than growing out of them. Common for 6yo shoes, but wish Asics shoes would just last longer as they're expensive to replace constantly.
This 550 has replaced the 540 TR PS. It is too narrow and and less deep than the discontinued 540 TR PS. This 550 is not comparable and now there is no Velcro option that fits my sons wide foot with orthotics! Very annoying!If a popular school shoe is to be discontinued, it should be replaced with something comparable and improved not inferior! Great for little narrow feet tho.
Side note: I paid $120 for these shoes online (same price in store) but when the shoes arrived, they had a $100 price sticker. A little annoyed about that.As for the shoes, they are not a mesh top shoe, so I expected them to be heavy. I was really surprised how light they were. These are for an autistic child, so it is important that it wasn't overly rigid and nothing was touching near the ankles or sides of the feet.Really happy with how well they fit and are perfect for winter.
