I had a pair of ASIC Exalt3 Gels - bought them 6 yrs ago and was very happy with them but it was time for a new pair! I wanted to be able to wear them also as a casual shoe, so I thought I'll go black. So I went online and searched for a similar pair and found the black 550TRs. I used the sizing from my old ASICs, ordered them online and when the new ones arrived they fitted spot on!! Very happy with them!!

I play competitive tennis. And although not strictly a tennis shoe this is one of the few shoes that are made in a wider width which I can use to play. It has been hard to find a tennis shoe that fits, these are perfect. I will be buying these shoes from now on unless ASICS could make a l tennis specific shoes in 2E which I can use. Love it!!!!

These are the third pair of 550- TR’s. Safe to say that I am very happy with the shoe for the purpose of playing Pickleball on an outdoor court. The only concern is the longevity of the soft sole. I would like to be advised of a shoe with the same comfort but with a more durable sole suited to an outdoor cement hard court. Than’s heaps for your time and looking forward to advice.

This is my first time buying this model and it won’t be the last. The support & comfort are superior to other ASICS models i’ve previously worn and the leather upper prevents my big toe from wearing a hole through the fabric. The wide fit enables me to wear the shoe for a full day without discomfort and not only for exercise. Will definately be purchasing an additional pair.
Bought these at Bondi Junction store a couple of weeks ago. They are so good to wear. A very nice arch support. The inner sole has moulded very nicely to my foot. I walk a lot. They look great. The walls of the shoe a quite rigid. Love that for support. I have a regular foot plant. There are no heel build ups to counter pronation. So my regular gait is not interfered with. Just love these. A top shoe.
I have really wide flat feet. Normally around a 4E and i needed something that is supportive and yet not too heavy for volleyball trainings. This one although its 2E, it still fits pretty well and not too heavy for my games. I wish there were more colours and more male court shoes. Otherwise this one will do the job pretty well.
This is my second pair of the 550TR shoes, found them to last for 12 months under extreme conditions, finding a pair of 15's in Cairns QLD was impossible and had to order online for my second pair.Delivery was extremely fast and couldn't be happier.The wear and comfort factor were second to none, this is the best pair of shoes I have ever worn.I would have ordered a 3rd pair, but they are now out of stock.Will keep an eye out for new stock coming in. SO I ordered my new GEL-550TR about a month ago. IThey made me realise just how much I love the feel of new Asics! They are being used as walking shoes and they are doing a great job. In gact I intend to purchase a second set to enable me to always have a set ready to go.
I am a long time user of the previous models similar to this shoe.I find they are the best for walking and general day-to-day use. They are light but solid (more than the 2000 model for instance). The support base of the sole is a great help to the orthotics I wear. They are also long-lasting which justifies the purchase price.This model also looks smarter, so can double as a casual shoe which can be worn at a social function.
