I bought these because the shoes I was using where hurting my feet. Being 280lbs, it's hard to find shoes that offer enough support and comfort. Wish I would have found these on my first 50lbs of my weight loss journey because these shoes have made it much easier and fun to walk and jog with. I usually buy wide shoes but these offer enough room on the toe box. I would definitely recommend these shoes if you're a heavier person trying to get in shape or just want something comfortable for walking.

Fit and comfort + great style worked for me perfectly. Whether out on a walk along the central CA coast or in the gym, they are stable and easy on your wider foot to last all day. Well built and looks good anytime. I don't use to run mileage, and wouldn't use to play pickleball or tennis, but just a really nice all around athletic shoe. I'd buy a second pair to stash away for the future. Male 60+, wearing frequently and holding up very well.

Fairly new to running. Did c25k a few months back, now do 5k in 30 mins, 3 or 4 times a week. Had a real cheap pair of ASICS which suited me very well to begin with. Finally thought I'd earnt an upgrade. These are a massive improvement! So comfy and well supported. I saw a couple reviews saying to go a size up. I bought true to size (10) and they were pretty snug when I first put them on. Only took a few runs to bed in to being a perfect fit. I'd suggest getting your normal size. Really supportive for beginner runners like me (and I'm still nearly 100kg....)

Bought these trainers as I had previously bought a cheap pair of running shoes from Amazon (never again), and I had started to develop pain in my hip and knees after/during my runs when wearing the cheap pair.These trainers however are genuinely like running on clouds, no more pain in my knee or hip. They are genuinely just a delight to run in, I cannot recommend them enough.They are reasonably wide, without looking chunky. These are the 2nd pair of Gel Excite 10's I have run in. For the money they are bang on! I'm not an elite runner, nor a fast runner. Being 55 and entering running only when I was 50, I recognise my abilities and needed a shoe which allowed me to run at my own pace, were comfortable and managed my over pronation, which these do.Sure, there are probably better running shoes out there, but I have always stuck with Asics as a brand as the fit and ride suits me. But, these Excite-10's also come in on budget for me which ticks all the boxes. I'd recommend to anyone into running to keep fit, stay healthy but not necessarily looking to enter ultra events, marathons or elite sports.Really happy and thank ou Asics!
I purchased the Asics Gel Excite 10 running shoe primarily for walking.The product fits well and is comfortable and stable. The upper mesh fabric stretches slightly with each step taken to avoid the feeling of restriction. In addition, the shoe is light and flexible.One suggestion is that if you are interested in this model, consider a half-size larger than your measured foot size. I love these shoes. They fit my 4e, x-wide toe box with room for custom orthotics after removing the supplied insole. I replaced it with a plain Dr Scholls pillo insole.When you find the right Asics shoe, there’s nothing better. These have just enough give to adapt to your foot. Unfortunately, Asics makes dozens of models but incredibly few that come in xw with neutral pronation. No more cross trainers, no outdoor shoes, no other styles with a similar fit. It’s so frustrating! I’ve worn Asics most days for several years but I guess there aren’t enough people like me to drive the necessary profits. Please keep making these incredible shoes but in lots more colors.

They became my everything shoe. Gym, running, work. Probably the best shoe I’ve ever owned. After two years they got torn so I decided to go with the 10 and was very let down.First, the upper seems way cheaper. The materials just seem like they’re far worse than the 8. The laces feel like they might last a month or two at most.Then, to my biggest gripe. These shoes are WAY skinnier than previous shoes. There’s such a curve in on the inside of the shoe that my foot wants to bulge over the side and hang out of the upper which is extremely uncomfortable.
